The midlands area sales manager, Paul Burt was extremely friendly and helpful with advice and selecting the recommended drainage trap which was readily supplied then and there from the boot of his vehicle. Spot on, would recommend their products and/or advice.

Any Company is only as good as its people . Angela Currie gave me some great service today and helped me sort a problem that potentially could have cost my customer a great deal to rectify .

Have found their products good in the past. Asked a simple question online about dimensions of one part of one product. Got an immediate auto-acknowledgement with a promise to get back to me "shortly". Ten days and two reminders later, I'm still waiting.

I had a McAlpine scale defender installed last year. It has proved excellent in reducing the impact scale throughout my house and has allowed us to install a proper shower mixer for the first time. I had a minor problem with the washer when changing the cartridge. I contacted McAlpine and had a phone call within 24 hours and they sent the parts I needed within two days.. Really pleased with product and service service.

Had a issue with a HC2650UK – Clicker Seal.
Contacted support via website and got the issue sorted in days.
They sent me a replacement seal, really helpful

Contacted customer services after an installer lost a part of a shower trap they were fitting, they immediately arranged for a free of charge part to be sent out.

Contacted MC Alpine customer service regarding pop Up bath trap which they dealt with promptly and sent out replacement spares. Dealt with Margo who was very helpful and informative in this matter, excellent customer service, would highly recommend.

I had a problem with the crome parts on a 90mm shower waste i contacted customer services they then advised me that I was using the wrong cleaning product but were more than helpful by sending me new parts Free of charge

I wrote to customer service at McAlpine to inquire about a replacement connector for washing machine to a trap, to find out if it could be purchased. I expected to pay however, I was so pleasantly surprised that the very next day, I received not just one connector but two at no charge. This is what one can call customer service. Such a difference experience in the same week in comparison with Triton showers. I called to asked the cost of supplying 3 tiny screws for a Belize electric shower. They wanted £3.80 for the postage, whereas, they could have easily sent them in a small envelope at the cost of a first or second class stamp. Appalling service! Top class for McAlpine quality service and products. Thank you so much!!

As a plumber I’ve used mcalpine products for 35 years and never been disappointed with the products. Today I phoned mcalpine direct for a part number and was pleasantly surprised when the lady on the phone arranged the part to be sent directly free of charge 🙂

McAlpine KP-MAT kneeler pad
I just picked up this brilliant McAlpine kneeling pad.
I have been in the building/landscaping trade for 40 plus years and tried all sorts of different things to kneel on - from nothing at all when I was younger to various different knee pads and kneelers over the years.

I find the McApline KP slide-in trouser inserts really good when on a roof and kneeling on battens or situations when you need them fixed in the trouser pockets.

Mostly though I don’t like the bulk and weight of the inserts in the trouser knee pockets, and end up putting the kneelers on the floor or ground, and nudging them round to kneel on, so wanted to try a kneeler pad instead.

This KP KNEELER PAD is brilliant. It’s properly high quality and has a thick waterproof base, which is good when landscaping as it’s robust enough to put on type 1 or rough hardcore when setting out edging etc. The actual kneeling surface is a nice thick neoprene layer that makes it really comfortable to kneel on for long periods of time.
It may be more expensive than other brands but you definitely get what you pay for, this is a quality product and has been cleverly designed with a central core of concertina type rubber which makes it so nice to kneel on.
I know it’s only a little thing but the carry handle is such a useful addition. It makes it easy to pick up and also hang in the van or on the scaffold or ladder
I think this is going to last well and I would definitely recommend this to anyone, not just the trades, but absolutely anyone who wants to look after their knees and be comfortable working
