Shambles
Shambles. My order for a pair of shoes was confirmed and to be shipped. Then I get an email saying they are not available across Europe and would I accept a black pair instead of blue. Really?? If I wanted black I would have ordered black. Why advertise stuff they haven't got and why confirm the order?
Zero consideration for the customer and a really silly offer to send a different colour.
Update…they are now chasing me for details even though they themselves sent the email confirming the order and then another stating that the goods were not available…they have their own records! If I do not respond it seems my review will not be taken as genuine… it is. I see no reason to keep responding to them. Looks like an excuse to negate my review. They confirmed the order then said they cannot supply…simple and true. I am not making this up.

Your order was initially confirmed upon placement, which is standard procedure. Our system then completes a secondary supplier verification, as our inventory operates on a 72-hour rotating stock update cycle across multiple European distributors. In this case, the supplier confirmed shortly after that the specific colour you selected was no longer available.
Rather than cancelling immediately, we contacted you to offer the available alternative colour so you could still receive the same product without further delay. This was intended as a customer-first resolution, providing you with the option to proceed rather than cancelling your order without consultation.
When you declined the alternative, your order was cancelled accordingly. At no point was any product misrepresented or withheld.
Regarding our follow-up communication, we contacted you solely to identify and verify the order so we could respond accurately and transparently to your review. This is standard procedure and ensures factual responses.
Our inventory model allows customers access to a wider range of products sourced across multiple distributors, and in rare cases availability can change between update cycles. We remain committed to clear communication and prompt resolution whenever this occurs.

What an easy process
What an easy process, filled in the form late last week. Was emailed and they arranged to collect today as my day off text me 30 minutes before he arrived. He had a quick ride and checked bike over. Money sent whilst we were chatting. If I had another to sell I would use no issues

Great service and a great new bike
Bought a new Trek Marlin. Unfortunately, the front chainset was damaged in transport despite the bike arriving well packaged. MCR bikes agreed to send a new chainset which was fitted by a local mechanic and MCR paid for the fitting. Excellent service and great communication throughout. Bike is perfect now.

Get your bike from Mcrbikes!
Had the absolute pleasure of purchasing my Kona Fat Bike from Jake at Mcrbikes.
Although I had to wait a little time for the order to come from the states, Jake was on hand to give information at every stage which was great.
Jake is a great guy and a real pleasure to speak with. Always very informative and it's great to see the enthusiasm he has all round.
I would recommend mcrbikes to anyone interested in getting a bike.
