Really sorry we managed to miss one bag of cement on the delivery but after reading the review we called to make sure we make up for it! If you let us know about delivery shortages as soon as they are discovered we're always happy to try and resolve things. Look forward to the next order which hopefully will be a 5* this time!

they are not serious, on the website they show you that there is free delivery in certain areas, and then they call you to tell you that it actually costs £40 delivery....the most horrible experience, I do not recommend...

We always appreciate feedback but in this case we think this is a little unfair and melodramatic!
We try to make our delivery zones as clear as possible with maps and details at the basket and checkout pages as well as our delivery page. We're sorry that unfortunately your order was a good way outside of our free delivery zone and indeed just outside of our normal paid delivery zone. We made a polite phone call to make you aware that you could pay a delivery charge on this occasion or cancel the order for a full refund.
In this case we don't feel we could do any more.
Calling it "the most horrible experience" though? We'll just put that down as a bit of a histrionic outburst which we will forgive.
We are sorry though that you were upset about the order not going as expected and hope you managed to source the sand more locally.
