Meowtel's site is extremely user friendly and contains everything one needs to access for booking a pet sitter. Sections for communicating with the sitter, photos & descriptions of sitters covering the potential client's area, anecdotal info, contact info, easy-to-use-booking, and more. My sitter, Patricia, was a 12+ out of 10. My cats bonded with her quickly, even my shy one who doesn't bond with any stranger. She did everything requested of her & more. I am so glad I found Meowtel and will use them again the next time I need to book. I'd use the same sitter, of course. She was wonderful.

Anytime we need to leave for a long trip, this app makes it so easy to find a great sitter that we trust. The sitters on this app are professional and loving. We've had bad experiences finding people on our own, and this takes out the guesswork.

Renee has been an outstanding pet sitter since day one. It is easy to reserve her services through the Meowtel app, and easy to communicate with her as well. We have hired her multiple times over the last year; she always follows our instructions to the letter, and spends quality time with our cat. Our cat likes Renee, which is not always the case for our cat when it comes to new people.

I’ve hired a few sitters for my cats through Meowtel and have received excellent service. My cats have been well taken care of and are happy. I have received excellent documentation of each visit. I appreciate that the sitters are insured and vetted also.

I used Meowtel when I was going out of town for an extended period of time and while I was nervous about hiring someone online, the sitter we chose was great. She was so sweet and my cats really liked her. I got photo updates every day and when a relative or friend of mine stopped in they noted everything was taken care of and the apartment was left clean. I will definitely use them again, and I really appreciated the additional layers of security they have in hiring compared to some other sites.

Finding Meowtel was an absolute blessing! Finally, a pet sitting company that exclusively deals with cats only, who knew that even existed?! Their app is beyond user friendly & finding the cat sitter we thought was right for us was a piece of cake. After our initial meet & greet we were so so so happy with our choice of sitter. We have 2 cats both at very different ends of the "when strangers come over" spectrum. One cat stays around & the other one does a disappearing act equally as good as a magician. The cat that does stay around absolutely fell in love with our sitter! We have plenty of photos & videos of her not just stopping by to replenish food & scoop boxes but actually treating her like it was her own cat. She got down on the floor & actually played with her, hand fed her treats & posted the sweetest real time updates to the app! As far as our other cat she fully respected his privacy. Never was there a "I'll just pull him out from under the couch & make him play" moment & we are so grateful for that. If you're wondering "but how would she know he was ok", we gave her things to look for...bedroom doors are supposed to be open, if they're closed he's trapped in a room type of clues. My husband and I are so lucky we found Meowtel & our sitter & can honestly say we had not a single worry when we were away for the week. We can't wait for our next vacation!

I feel very confident with our Meowtel sitter. From the very first visit she was attentive, caring, and thoughtful. The website itself is easy to use and thorough. I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

On the technology side, the app is thorough in its enrollment process, cheerful in its style, and we didn't experience any glitches. Of course the real test is the people who come into your home to care for your animals. Not just the catsitter we hired, who turned out to be a real star, but even the other sitters who couldn't help us for whatever reason had excellent communication styles, prompt and gracious. For us, the value for money was excellent and we won't hesitate to use Meowtel in future.

In further clarification of the critical review posted recently, it has emerged that Columbus Meowtel sitter "Kat", who did not communicate with us by telephone or text during our brief trip, filed a criminal complaint of animal cruelty and neglect with the police, and also stated that we were keeping exotic animals, some of whom were sick and had not received veterinary care. As a result, a pair of armed police officers came to our door with an Animal Control van of the type used for the seizure of dangerous or illegally-held animals.
The sitter's belief that we had "exotic" animals was apparently prompted by my statement that Amadeus the Himalayan was an exotic cat, which technically applies to breeds that have a wild appearance. He was not at all sick, although his eyes may have been watering, which can happen with this breed and for which he has eye drops. How she determined that veterinary care had not been given is beyond us, as she had never seen these cats before, and Amadeus is in fact cared for by a family friend veterinarian, who is as attached to him as we are. The officers, who evidently had formed the opinion that they were making a raid on a number of diseased and illegal animal captives, immediately determined that the allegations were baseless and left.
I could not inquire of "Kat" as to any further particulars, as our Meowtel account had been terminated and all previous email correspondence disappeared. Meowtel obviously backs this woman up fully, as subsequent email inquiries were responded to only with another copy of the "safe environments" policy, and after another day they stopped responding altogether.
Anyone who does business with Meowtel, and anyone who engages the sitter "Kat" in Columbus, must consider that they may well face the same risk of criminal accusation and investigation and being raided or even shot.

Amy, the cat sitter is an amazing “cat whisperer.” My cats were immediately at ease with her and I was able to enjoy my trip with great assurance that they would be well cared for. Amy was very communicative and the photos and videos she sent showed how relaxed the cats were. I highly recommend Amy through Meowtel.

I started using Meowtel about 3 years ago. At that time I had two cats - brother and sister. They were getting older. My sitter, Reneda understood the assignment. She fed them, cleaned their litter box and sat with them for a few minutes. There were times when she had to "locate" the cats but not often. Anyway, I felt safe and secure leaving my cats in her care. I have used Meowtel several times since and have always been satisfied.
