Helpful office staff and delivery on time. Would definitely recommend.

First time ordering from Merchant Depot. Dealt with Emma in customer services who was great. I had a delay in getting stuff delivered but that was down to Marshalls who were responsible for the delivery and not Merchant Depot.
Emma was great in chasing the delivery up for me and I guess the question is would I use again. Yes.

Always very plesant and willing to help. would always call you back if you had a problem. Excellent.

I found Merchant Depot pleasant enough to deal with. Good customer service and competitive pricing. However what would cause me to hesitate purchasing from them again is the courier service.
You get told that your delivery will be between 8am and 8pm and that the courier is encouraged to call you through the day to advice on a more accurate delivery time. This means you have to be up and ready to receive a call before 8am in the unlikely event that your delivery will be at 8am. So you need to put 13 hours of your day to one side for the delivery. You cant walk the dog, nip out to the shops or potter about at the bottom of the garden.
I had my delivery scheduled for a Friday so cancelled all plans for the full day. At 11am I was called to say there had been an issue at the distribution depot and my delivery now wouldnt come till Monday. Alas I couldnt accept Monday as I needed to go out for 20mins and you need to dedicate an uninterrupted 13 hours.
My delivery was then scheduled to Weds. Merchant Depot, to their credit, were now keeping an eye on this and informed me around midday that my delivery would be between 3 and 5pm. The courier only phoned when he was 2 miles away.
I’d have dropped another star if I’d paid for the delivery but as it was free you have to take what you get.

Slabs arrived as promised, none are broken are damaged and the delivery driver was brilliant.

Update in short - The product was delivered on time, really will packaged and is a excellent product.

"Can't comment on the product because the review request didn't give me any clue as to what product they want me to review 😂, but I'm submitting this low service review in the hope it will stop the annoying review reminder emails I keep getting."

After submitting this the next step was to review the product - it would be helpful if the 2 steps were the other way around - I tried to review the product however after 3 failed attempts to attach a photo it accepted it on the 4th - each time I had to re-enter the comment - and left the 'submitting' process running for nearly 10 minutes before I killed it and gave up
