Side panels were split which delivery driver took photos of. When contacting customer service they would not accept the drivers photo and insisted i sent pictures. Customer service very unhelpful. Poor quality and service

Given a date of delivery of 4 weeks and was told time of 7am to 7pm with a message of time in morning of delivery window. I get a message on said morning saying due to operational issues, of which nobody could tell me what they were I wasn't going to get my delivery as I had people coming following day I had to ca them to put them off which didn't go down to well. Then I get a message to say it was arriving in afternoon????, no more operational issues now.
Driver turns up calls me as he says can't find house after instructing him on where to go and what to do when he gets there, open gate back in father in house will move his car back to end of drive and lean against fence. Driver can't open gate neighbour has to open it for him... he then proceed to unload on front lawn without even knocking on the door
Driver calls me to say he has delivered it to the front and not at back because he is on his own and other people need their deliveries, when I asked him why he didn't do what I asked he was rude and said not in my description take it up with office and hung up on me
Will I use them again ...no I won't let's hope that the items are all there as the driver signed the receipt with a squiggle..... and I don't know what is what not good customer service in any way
I don't normally write reviews but feel i had to on this occasion. - for the record this is the genuine experience we had with this product - Recently my mum and Step father purchased a the 10x8 Wessex summerhouse- it looked good on photos - My step father (50+ years builder) and myself (10+ years heavy steel construction) took over a day to put this structure together - i will tell you why:
1. The instructions were good and formative for each step however - you have absolutely no part numbers to marry up with the drawings to be able to follow those steps, 99% of the time in any part of the construction industry you have numbers to marry up with parts for each step on a work method - here you have absolutely nothing - no sizes of timber parts to try and figure out where everything goes either. - everything looks like it has been wrapped up randomly and shipped out.
2, You say you pride yourself on quality on your website well i am sorry whoever is your quality control needs to have a word with themselves in the mirror or a stern talking to! - who uses the nail gun in your work shop?? the three blind mice?? - there were nail points protruding through components that we had to carefully bend back and cut with metal snips - my 4 year old niece is going to be going in and out of the summer house playing, what if she ripped her arm on a nail end?? - when installing the roof some of the 30x30 cross member bracing for the slats were too long so had to be cut otherwise there would've been on some occasions a 15mm gap when butting the roof panelling together!! c'mon guys! even Stevie wonder driving F1 car would've seen that and corrected it!
After fixing all the snagging and mistakes from manufacture we finally finished, however agreed we would've been better buying the timber ourselves and making our own kit stronger and at a cheaper price
Take these points and improve on it as can see a trend starting to happen from reading other reviews - white collar management blame yourselves for this don't blame the workers.
Absolute shambles, my summerhouse arrived with multiple damaged and unusable items and incorrect sized items, no quality check had obviously been carried out!!
The customer service was very unhelpful and said if we sent photos they would send replacements in 10-14 working days.
When I said this was not good enough I was offered £20 lol this was an insult.
I’m aware items may be damaged in transit, but the he majority of the damaged items were mid bundle and obviously packed damaged.
I was also promised a link to send photos of said damage so replacements could be sent, this never arrived.
Sorry Lily if your hands were tied, but Lucy could have helped us and refused to expedite the issue and rectify your huge c*ck up.
Will never use again and make sure my Facebook friends are well aware what a Mickey Mouse outfit you are.
Karl the driver was apologetic and the only positive if their is one at all.

Rearranged for the following Tuesday, again, no delivery. Eventually turned up on Thursday with notice until it was on the way. No one at hand ankle to receive it. It was delivered, and the driver was very helpful, putting it exactly where I needed it, from directions I gave him, while I was in France in my holiday.
So they delivered the shed early no problem. However no-one called to say they were early and no-one knocked the door to say it was here considering I had to supposedly had to sign for it. Thankfully a neighbour who was in their garden cared to knock and let me know that it had also arrived. Looks like good quality wood.
Do Not Use This Company!
After letting me down on Monday at 8Am of the day of delivery they rescheduled for Saturday.
I rang up on the Friday to check was going to be delivered Saturday and they said, yes it’s the first drop in th morning.
I waited all day on th hottest day of the year for this delivery and it never showed up!
2 days I have now waited and nothing.
Absolute shambles of a company, Iam starting to think that this is a SCAM company.

While it arrived a little later than originally estimated we could track the delivery online which was very useful as we were having it delivered to our allotment. The driver, Clifford, was fantastic and even offered to drive it on site for us which I didn't expect. Very happy!

I have built many sheds over the years of vaious sizes and types. I am a fencing contractor as well as many other skills within engineering, buildinga nd construction, so i would call myself a dab hand.
I had a local customer to me who i knew, asked me about erecting a new 8x6 shed when she goes to buy one. asked me for recommendations. My reply was anywhere except Argos and B&Q as they are complete and utter cheap rubbish. i gave her a short list of other sellers of good sheds that i had built and also told about.
she ended up buying the shed from B&Q. when she told me, i asked why? and her reply was, it is only for garden storage so i didnt want to pay over the odds for one.
When i first inspected it, the coliur green was an unusual colour. looked like someone had been going over it with a green marker pen.
first job was to lay the floor down and screw together. the OSB board used was extremely thin, maybe 9mm. you could feel the board bending under your feet as you walked over it. I explained to the customer and suggested to buy more OSB from selco to strengthn it as it will definately break when walked on. I went to my local selco branch and purchased 2 x sheets of 18mm OSB board. that was £50 added to the bill. As the shed is expected to last 25 years plus, it would have been a bad decision not to purchase the board as it forms the base of the shed and to replace that, means the whole shed has to be dissmantled to renew the floor. get it right first time.
joining the two floor sections was also plagued with issues. The two sections did not mate squaely as one of the bearers under one section was nailed incorrectly so i had to reposition the bearer to make the two edges fit squarely.
First end panel went up and secured without issue. i added the first side panel which was about 10mm longer than what it needed to be. i added the second side panle and that was also about 10mm longer than it should have been.
to make shure it wasnt me, i alligned the other two side panels which were pretty much the correct length. going back to the first two side panels, i ended up trimming both panels down to make fit.
As i got further into the build, i noticed several cracked featheredge boards, one door trim/bead was as a bent a banana. couldnt use it.
The instructions were awful to follow. print was very small, too small actually.
Overall, the quality of the shed was 4/10. i didn like the shed at all. One of the worst ones i have erected. If money is not an issue, then i would recommend going to a proper timber merchant directly who who speciaises in building sheds. there are plenty out there, you just have to look.
I believe B&Q refunded my customer as they agreed from the photos she showed them, it was definately a refund job. When they asked if it could be returned she said NO, as she would hav eto pay me for doing so plus pay me a aain to build a second shed. she is fairly happy with the outcome and quids in.

The delivery driver, Nick was very kind and helpful. Arrival was at the time he said and he gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way.
Very professional and nothing was too much trouble for him.

Delivery was also great - arrived within a week of ordering. I got up early to find a message on my phone to say it had already been delivered, with photo proof, and there it was neatly stacked by the garage. Thanks to the driver for being so quiet at 05:30!

Awful... never deliver when they say they will. Always a delay. Still waiting for delivery. Do not take the day off to wait for them they will not show... spoke with customer services.. gave them opportunity to right the wrongs due to financial loss very sternly driver out of hours ' poor transportation management ' here is another delivery slot 2 weeks away...take it or leave it... thanks
