Seems like I’ve been caught by a scam.
Seems like I’ve been caught by a scam.. fake story on the website, promising refunds if you’re not happy but I’m expecting they’ll be using a discount as a reason it’s not applicable… yet the whole website is on sale . Hate these companies based in china taking us all for a ride . They display high trust pilot reviews yet they are fake too… I was under the impression the goods were from the uk and it’s taken ages to come , a big jiffy arrived today with ‘Christmas cracker’ quality items inside . Both items in a small plastic bag. Such poor quality .
I just want my money back so I can buy another gift for my friend.

Update!
An update for those trying to get a refund from Mila Rose. Please don’t waste your time or energy trying to get a refund from them. They will offer and partial refund or a gift card ‘for future purchases’ (seriously). Instead I advise raising a dispute with your bank, this is your best chance of getting a refund via a chargeback. Explain to your bank (in detail) exactly what has happened. Sadly our UK consumer rights cannot be exercised in this situation as this company is based and trading in China (although the website will have you believing they are in the UK). They also have multiple sites with the same jewellery and ‘sob story’ - check out ‘Amelie Aurora Jewels’ .
Mila Rose, Amelie Aurora (whoever you are) what a disgusting business you are running, manipulating consumers with a fake story to scam people out of money to purchase cheap plastic jewellery. Your time will come. Until then I will continue advising others to STAY AWAY.
Please don’t waste your time or mine generating an AI response.

Scam scam scam
UPDATE 17/7/25….been offered a 30% refund in line with their refunds policy! I will be raising this with my bank. Scam scam scam. Pictures are nothing like what arrives, plastic rings no better than what you get in a Christmas cracker for an apparently massively reduced price due to closing down. £24.95 for sheer tat!

So disappointed with the package that arrived
Ordered 28th June arrived 15th July which wasn’t a problem but was so disappointed with the package that arrived.
From the website everything looks lovely with nice presentation boxes but these arrived in cellophane bags labelled fashion jewellery and looked nothing like the items advertised

Illegal activity. Beware!!
My complaint is now with my credit card company. After receiving an email stating I am entitled to a full refund from them when receiving a faulty item, they are now telling me I’m not getting a refund. So they are breaking the law in line with my consumer rights. I have all the documentation which is going back to credit card company who have also said I’m entitled to a full refund on faulty items. I will continue to update here daily, but for now I am ceasing communication with Mila rose as they are useless.

Avoid
Avoid! Only joined trust pilot recently, lots of reviews are from users with only 1 review and have the same time (probably AI not people).
It's not a mother and daughter business, it's a business in China. Cannot by found on companies house, or find any evidence they ever were a registered UK company.
I paid over £50 and have not reviewed any products.

Scamming AI company based in China
Please dont fall for the story of single mother and daughter, and sad closure of store. Neither exist and the company is just another AI scam. The handmade products you are led to believe arrive within a few days, actually come directly from China and mass manufactured I’m guessing. My order arrived and its pretty much costume jewellery quality and weight. Please dont expect sterling silver. Avoid avoid avoid

Really bad quality
Really bad quality! And the return policy states no returns due to the site closing down. Which of course is a scam due to the fact the site has been closing down from these reviews for a very long time. Purchase with care. This isn't a small family business at all.

Do not buy
Do not buy. Poor quality items, can buy from Shein for a few £s. Took weeks to come from China

Avoid this company - cheap tat
Ordered the Hamsa bracelet bundle and I was taken in by the story of the shop closing down and the positive Trustpilot reviews on their website. As soon as the purchase went through and I could look at the tracking it was clear it was coming from China. Took two weeks to arrive and is basically cheap plastic tat. Definitely not worth the £25 I paid for it, never mind the £80 it was meant to be full price! Avoid this company.

Avoid this company!
Avoid this company! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Their website gives the impression they are London based and it’s a mother called Mila & her daughter rose. Mila is closing the business down because she wants more time with Rose.
Rubbish, everything is from China and is really poor quality, nothing like photos on website. They offer 30 day money back guarantee unless items are discounted which they are. Even if you send back I doubt you’ll get a full refund. Everything is discounted because it’s a scam. Apparently, no longer on Companies House website because closing down - absolute garbage! Not on Companies House because they aren’t UK based.
Don’t waste your hard earned money on this rubbish jewellery.
Also takes ages to arrive obviously because coming from China
Also interesting that there Trustpilot score on individual items on their website makes it seem their Trustpilot score is much higher than it actually is.
ADDITION: I can’t reply to Mila & Rose’s reply to my review on here and there have been at least 20 emails between us already & I’m still awaiting a reply to my last email so don’t want to get into another trail of emails. Had you resolved the issue I wouldn’t have left this review. Also why do reviews help you grow, I thought you were closing the business?

Awful plastic quality and poor customer service
The products took over two weeks to arrive and when they did the quality was so poor. They don’t look anything like the photos. The ring and wave necklace in particular just feel like plastic. I also bought hummingbird earrings and what I have compared to the image is almost funny. There is no detail whatsoever like the image. I would never purchase from here again.
Also the customer service team have been in contact about this. I’ve sent them images of the flimsy products I received and even attached photos from their website so they could spot the differences. Unfortunately they couldn’t accept their faults, even when I showed them the silver plastic wave necklace and I clearly showed them that I’d ordered it in gold. And the image on the website had small diamonds in the waves and mine did not. I guess this was too difficult for them to spot.
Their comments to other reviews say to message them if their products are not as described but even when I’ve done that and provided evidence, they’re still absolutely useless. This is the worst company I’ve dealt with in a very long time.

This is a scam!…
This company is a scam and I feel so stupid I did not read the Trust Pilot reviews before I ordered. The sob story about closing the business is completely false. I received my order today and the jewellery is all cheap, nasty copies of the jewellery on the ad. The order took 2 weeks to arrive, I was able to track it and it came from China. They promised a refund if you're not happy and I have emailed them but doubt I will receive a reply.
Regarding your reply below, I can confirm that the jewellery absolutely falls short in quality and I should receive a refund! You are charging ridiculous amounts of money for jewellery that isn't even worth a few £'s. It's made of plastic! I've seen better jewellery in a Christmas cracker. You are a disgrace and stealing money from honest people!!

OK jewellery but not worth the price paid
I spent £88 with this company (a few birthday presents and a treat for myself) after believing the Insta advert. The next day I checked trust pilot and was shocked at the bad reviews, but was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until the goods arrived. I did ask for tracking details 3 times, with no reply. 12 days later, they have arrived. The actual items are OK to be fair, but the ring for myself which is supposed to be adjustable, is tiny and not adjustable at all! I expected them to arrive in gift boxes like it shows, so was shocked at the little plastic bags, and 'made in china' tags. The website makes you feel like these are handmade here in the UK. Definitely not. Please be aware that all 'silver' is stainless steel, and the gold is very yellow. They are not as cheap looking as some have suggested, but I won't be buying anymore.
Pictures aren't what you get
Fell for the story on Instagram and thought I'd purchase a gift for my mother in law. Didn't realise it was an international company and its taken 3 weeks for the order to arrive. Just received and can say i am truly disappointed and would be embarrassed to give the gift to my mother in law as a birthday present. Just looks cheap and nothing lime the pictures. Really disappointed and out of pocket

Minus stars. Fake. SCAM
Minus stars.
Fake, cheap, painted on gold.
It would be great to show the photos on here to compare.
The matt silver ring with gold banding, is a shiny metal (maybe?) With the gold PAINTED on.
Earnings- look like kids plastic ones
And a size T ring that won't even fit my little finger! I think that ones plastic!
I'd getter better in a kids party bag!
Emailed them, but doubt I'll hear anything!

Not standing for it!!
I have experience similar to everybody else on this website. I received a very cheap ring which was also damaged with a few scratches. I emailed the company on the same day and we have sent 27 emails back-and-forth to each other. The most they would offer me was either a replacement of the item, a gift card for the item amount, or a 30% refund.
I’ve accepted none of this. I have quoted to them regarding my consumer rights for the 14 day cooling off period as well as items receive damaged. To which they were still having none of it.
I have rang citizens advice this morning. And they have advised this final email before starting small claims court as they are in breach of the 2015 consumer rights.
I have sent the following email to them this morning if anybody else would like to try and do the same retrospectively.
Citizens advice have discussed that if I don’t get the reply that I’m needing i.e. a full refund or if they do not respond within 14 days to give them a call back and we’ll start proceedings for a small claim court.

To whom it may concern,
Re: damaged (scratches) ring
I have not received an appropriate reply to my initial email dated 7th July 2025 regarding the faulty goods which I bought from you on 28th June 2025. This email and subsequent emails explained what is wrong with the goods and why I am entitled to a refund under my consumer Rights.
I am once again requesting a full refund of the purchase price of £??? on the grounds that the goods were not of satisfactory quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as well as the 14 day cooling off period for all purchased items.
I would like a reply as soon as possible so that I know you have received this email. If you don't agree to the full refund, could you please then send me a detailed response saying why you don't agree.
To avoid taking court action, I am willing to use Alternative Dispute Resolution to resolve this problem. Are you a member of or willing to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme ?
If I do not receive a satisfactory response from you within 14 days of the date of this email, I intend to issue proceedings against you in the county court without further notice. This may increase your liability for costs.
I refer you to the Practice Direction on pre-action conduct under the Civil Procedure Rules, and in particular to paragraph 13-16 which sets out the sanctions the court may impose if you fail to comply with the Practice Direction.
I look forward to your acknowledgement.
Yours faithfully,

Fell for a sob story
Fell for a sob story. I thought I was buying from a small family company in the UK. I soon realised this was not the case. £87 out of pocket and no goods. Emailed them only to receive a rather rude response. I’m disabled and thought I was doing something good by helping out a mother and daughter. I’m not in a position just to loose money like this. Absolute scammers!!
