Go Anywhere Else!

Ordered a jersey and found out after ordering it would not arrive for 6-8 weeks. Called to cancel the order the NEXT DAY and was told it was "outside" the cancellation window, and my only option was to wait until it arrived return it for a refund. It arrived and I returned the jersey per their process. Got an email stating instead of refunding my money, they were giving me a gift certificate to their website. They said that's all they could do and if I had a problem I would need to go thru PayPal. I disputed thru PayPal and was refunded the next day. Will obviously never deal with this company again.

MLB Shop: Horrible Experiemce. False Advertising. Disingenuous Customer Service

I ordered a Kirk Gibson signed baseball from MLB Shop on 10/4/25 because it was advertised as a 30% discount with a GLOVE promo code. The discount was applied throughout the checkout process but when I received the order confirmation it wasn’t included. When what I received did not match the description—they charged me $449.99 instead of the advertised $337.49 (see pictures) I contacted customer service multiple times, but they refused to honor what they advertised. I then returned the product and they wrote that I’d receive a refund of my money in 2-5 days. It’s 16 days later and I’ve yet to receive a refund and they are no longer responding to my email inquiries. This company is scary and disingenuous and I’m writing to warn others of how they do business. Lastly, I posted online and they suddenly were very responsive. They asked me to take down my original post and since then they are no longer communicating. I would caution others to double-check details and be wary of this company, their offers and their refund promises.

DO NOT ORDER

DO NOT ORDER. Three months and still cannot provide a tracking number. a whole month of trying to get a refund (still hasnt happened) this is not a "sketchy" website. This is a completely fraudulent company that nobody should order from.

Do not buy their t-shirts. These are cheap junk. Should be sold in the Dollar Store only. $54 for a t-shirt like this is absurd.

Step up the quality

Ordering and speed of delivery was good.
Paid $85.00 for a dodgers sweatshirt. Letter in on front and arm very poor quality. Looked like it had been washed 50 times.

Super Shady Business Practices and Poor Customer Service

Ordered from MLBshop and then discovered the same items were cheaper on Fanatics (operated by the same company as MLBshop) and also offered free shipping from the Fanatics app. I contacted customer service for price matching or to cancel the order so I could order again from Fanatics instead and they refused to do either even though I contacted them within an hour of ordering and my items had not shipped yet. I was told I could return the items after receiving them which doesn’t make sense to me since it literally costs them more on shipping and return shipping than to just provide me with the $11 refund or cancel the order. And at incredible inconvenience to a loyal customer! Apparently the price matching policy just changed in July, but they couldn’t even provide me with a link to the change because it’s “only available to employees”. It’s not even a traditional price match request when it’s their own company website I’m trying to match to!

Return label fee & incorrect refund

Bought 2 shirts as gifts for adults. When they arrived it looked like the sizing was for children. When I went to return them, the website said the return label would cost $10. $10 to return items that we were unable to try on and were sized incorrectly? Absurd. I called and an agent assisted me with a return label and waived the $10 fee. I returned the items and after a week checked my account. I only received a refund for 1 of the 2 shirts I returned. I called again and was told the original agent that assisted me had only put 1 item on the return label and the contents of my return package were clearly not checked when they received the package. After a “back office” review I was told I would receive a full refund and they would consider the 2nd item lost. Between the attempted fee for returns and the incorrect refund that may have gone unnoticed if I wasn’t vigilant, I will never purchase from MLBshop again.

They couldn't care less about the fans

GIven the run the Jays are on we ordered a flag to hang in the backyard. It was very expensive but thought we would support the team. What they sent me was a flimsy, thin piece of garbage. I got a Maple Leaf flag in the playoff run that was less than this and 5 times better quality. I decided to return the garbage flag and had to pay $14 dollars to return. It is bad enough what it cost to go to a Jays game these days with their criminal concession fees but this is over the top. If I have to read about how Fan centric they are again I am going to barf. I will watch and cheer but am not giving the Jays or MLB another dime. Don't even get me going on their garbage site and excuse for AI chat bot. Absolute joke.

Failure to provide any service

Failure to provide any service
ZERO communication.
Refund issued without communication and no offer of reshipping or exchange for unavailble items.
Lost money on transaction due to exchange rate.
Products werent available after purchasing. Shipping didnt occur even though it stated it was shipped.
AI advised to just wait longer as product was shipped when it hadnt been.

Didn't get what I paid for

Didn't get the shirt I ordered for my son. Was charged the price of a jersey with Harper's name on it and shipping that was supposed to be free. Got a shirt with iron on and they charged nearly $90. After debating 30 mins with a person with broken English, they gave me a partial refund. I don't trust the company. I went back and clicked on the Bryce Harper jersey that shows his name, but when you look back up at the "recently reviewed," it shows a shirt without number and name. They are very manipulative company. If I am going to pay for a knock-off, I'll go to Amazon and pay half the price.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed! I ordered a Don Mattingly jersey from MLB for Christmas. The size was too big and I planned to return it sooner. Due to obligations caring for a sick family member, it was not a priority. The jersey has the tags on it, it’s never been worn, and MLB will not exchange it for a smaller size. Even when we offered to pay for shipping. A simple request. But because it’s past the 45 day policy, they cannot accommodate. This is the last time I purchase from them. They send the message that they don’t care about their customers. I don’t recommend this business. Terrible.

Ordered a shirt on may 31

Ordered a shirt on may 31. Paid 9 dollars in shipping. Never received the shirt. Got text messages that it was delivered. Never showed up. Do not trust these guys. I had to contact my bank to get my money back.

Ordered a jersey for my son to wear to…

Ordered a jersey for my son to wear to a game on June 1st. Order was placed on May 16th and order was supposed to be shipped in 3-7 days. Checked order status 7 days later and order will not be shipped out until May 30th with a delivery date of June 10th-14th. How does such a big company get this so wrong?

Be careful on getting double billed for reship

I was told my overpriced cap would arrive on April 19th. After two weeks of waiting I contacted them and was told that I need to contact OnTrac. They sent me back to MLB. MLB customer rservice offered to a reship or to provide a refund.
I took the reship. I was again billed for the replacement hat and also the overnight shipping. I had to cancel both the original and the reship order and wait a week to get refunded my $48+$61.
