Absolutely love this app it allows me…

Absolutely love this app it allows me to see what my child is spending on it cost me absolutely nothing, as well as they offer a phone plan through AT&T as long as you have a phone that will work with it. I am so happy I can finally teach my child some responsibility with money a little bit easier than cash

I love being able to have my own "account" for money, and being able to have a way to store it since im prone to losing money, but its also really cool how my parent can give me an allowance with it, and how it can be used digitally and physically. I really enjoy this app! (:

We ordered a debit card for our…

We ordered a debit card for our daughter on February 12th. We got the app set up and waited the 14 days for the physical card, which had come and gone. We placed a follow up call to customer service to get a status update. They stated there was an "error" in processing the card and needed to send another one. That was February 27th. We AGAIN called on March 6th since the app had not shown any updates to shipping status. Customer service stated they would send an email once they checked into this more, which they did and confirmed they were shipping it, although the app still shows it has not shipped and the "estimated" date of arrival keeps moving farther out. When setting this card up, we had gone with this option for the reason of providing our daughter with a means of payment for her school trip on March 26th. We would have for certain gone with a different company had we known the delays and frustrations this company would cause in not being able to provide a card in a timely manner. We will definitely be looking into other options at this point.

Hi , we’re really sorry for the delays and frustration you’ve experienced. We completely understand how important it is for your daughter to have her card in time for her school trip, and this is not the experience we want families to have.
There was an issue during the original card processing, which required a replacement to be issued, and we truly apologize for the inconvenience that caused. The good news is that we still have time to resolve this before March 26.

Easy Set up / Easy to use - LONG Transfer / deposit time

I loved how easy and fast everything is, however, the 3-4 processing fees for the money to move into the account from a bank account is ridiculous.
I also do wish there was a feature to add another parent or adult so they can deposit for the child.
I love no fee's to use it, however they get you on the fee's when its card or apple pay.

You’re correct that there are two ways to add funds. Standard ACH transfers from a bank account are free and typically take 2–3 business days. For families who need funds instantly, we also offer optional instant funding, which shows the fee clearly before confirming the transfer.

This company is by far the best free children's/teens banking app on the market 💵❤️💳

This company offers an easy way to make sure that your child has money in their pocket for outings or other fun activities along with teaching them the value of money and the benefit of saving it versus spending it. It gives my son a sense of responsibility along with a little bit of freedom to do what he wants with the money he receives. I love that it has the option to add chores and an allowance. I've also been using it as a rewards system for Good grades and to reinforce good behavior. He's learning the value of a dollar and seeing that hard work pays off. I've tried a few other children/teen banking apps and this one is by far the best!! It's free and it's got all the features that I've been looking for, did I forget to mention that their customer service is top notch. They respond quickly to any questions or issues and are super friendly and understanding. So with that being said I would 100% recommend this to anyone who's looking for an easy way to put money in your child's pocket while still teaching them the importance of budgeting, instilling work ethic and saving money for bigger better things in the future. So Thank You Modak for making and managing a wonderful app.

Horrible service ,The customer support does not speak English .They blocked my daughter's card without no tangible explanation and the overall service is absolutely poor. I paid $5k to Pay Mine , We literally had to sit out , We get $500 weekly returns to run our expenses . Knowledge is power and the right information is the key . Modak needs to stop frustrating parent's

Run away from this company as fast as…

Run away from this company as fast as you can they make fraudulent charges to your account without your knowledge. The card gets hacked very easily. It’s been hacked twice when you call customer service they don’t speak English barely and you can hear dogs barking in the background. This company is an absolute nightmare. Do not walk away run away stay away from these people. It’s a scam. It’s fraud. They’re absolutely horrible.

Don't recommend, feels like a scam

We switched from Greenlight since it is no monthly fee, but it's been awful and we will be closing it. You can transfer from your bank for free but it will take a week, however it comes out of your bank the same day. Then the transfer from your parent wallet to the child is supposed to be instant but it's been over a day now. They make it sounds free but force you to use credit cards to add funds which they charge a fee to do. Don't recommend.

To clarify for anyone reading: standard bank-to-bank (ACH) transfers typically take 2–3 business days depending on the originating bank. While the funds may leave your external bank the same day, processing times are determined by the ACH network and banking timelines on both sides.

Transfers within Modak (parent wallet to teen account) are designed to be instant, and we’re currently reviewing your specific case to understand what may have caused the delay.

This is just the best app I ever use. It doesn’t take two or three days to send your money. I don’t know if it does, but it’s perfect easy to use, they have good help if you got a problem with the app, they can help you through everything.
