Horrific. Late, incorrect translation on the boxes and on the play cards. You can tell it’s a really poor translation app they’ve put it into. All China made, cheap and small parts broke off with the initial opening of the wooden toy. Took over a month to arrive.

Ordered at the beginning of December for Christmas and was given notification 2 days later it had been delivered 4 days before my order. Refused to cancel order. Didn't arrive for Christmas and now they are charging me postage from U.K. to Sweden to return it. Do not order from them.

Ordered 2 items on 9th of December for a Christmas present expecting delivery within 7-10 days as advertised.

After tracking information repeatedly not being updated for over 10 days, I emailed to cancel the order. I was told this would be processed , then when I emailed back to check the status of cancellation I was told it could not be cancelled because it had left the warehouse.
Still no tracking update and 20 days on from ordering - no items.

To top it all off, the website does not make it clear these products ship from China, spent nearly double the cost for an item that an identical one was available in Smyth’s for half the price probably because they’re putting the word “Montessori” in front of it.

Avoid at all costs, huge disappointment and still no products even received.

Name boards arrived and the pegs on the letters etc come off immediately and can be swallowed! Extremely dangerous for babies/toddlers!!! Please don’t order from this company. It’s a scam from China not Montessori quality at all!

We waited 3.5 weeks for our order to be delivered. It arrived wrapped in a polythene bag and bashed to bits
Even if it had arrived in time for Christmas it was unfit to give as a gift

Skjønte med engang jeg sendte gjennom bestillingen, at dette var scam. Sender varer fra Kina. Veldig synd å misbruke «montesorri» produkter på denne måten.
Sto at varen skulle komme mellom 7-10 dager, men det tok nesten en måned. Når produktene kom frem, er det ene produktet helt ødelagt, og det går jo ikke an å få retur eller å få noe svar fra kundeservice. Styr unna!

Ordered a Montessori Frame - took ages to come - and very poor quality. Comes direct from China, with no hint of any Montessori branding - even on the box. Dr Maria Montessori would be appalled.
Interesting that all the reviews on the website are four or five stars - and all the reviews on Trust Pilot are one or two stars - I now know which ones to believe!

Do not buy anything from them !!! Poor service - bought more than 2 weeks ago and I didn’t received on time for Christmas and still have nothing ! Do not order anything !!!!

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering the microscope for my grandchildren for Christmas. I assumed anything Montessori would be good quality but it is useless. They have offered a 30% refund which is unacceptable.

Absolutely disgusting customer service and support. Unfortunately as like other customers I didn’t realise the product was coming from china as I definitely would not have bought it. Delivery is advertised as 7-10 days 26 days later still nothing. I am hugely disappointed in the response from customer service and the lack of response from them.
Definitely would not recommend.

I wish I had read reviews before ordering. Christmas Eve and still waiting (2 weeks since ordering). As with other reviews I had no idea that it was coming from China. I am usually very cautious about ordering from china but I failed to read that it was actually coming from there. I cannot say about quality of product as it’s still to arrive but I’m not holding out much hope that it’s worth what I paid for it

Ordered 2.5 weeks ago an item for a Christmas gift, I didn’t realise products are shipped from China and of course hasn’t arrived in time. Still haven’t received and now I have quality concerns based off other reviews here.

not european ships straight from china completely unrealistic shipping times - present not arriving before christmas and now worried about quality- decided to pay the extra and not get a low quality chinese fake but it looks like that’s what i’m getting

Website is misleading, stating delivery times the company clearly cannot keep, and insinuating delivery within the EU, from Sweden. These are lies. Drop-shipped from China with huge delays. Avoid at all costs.

I wouldn't even give them 1* if I was able. Ordered 2 items 9th November, hadn't received them by beginning of December. I chased where they were, they said they would chase their courier. They sent order again now 22nd December still not received. Im seeking reimbursement from paypal.

I just wish I’d read this reviews. Ordered a Christmas gift beginning of December - 5 day shipping. Huh! 20 days later it is still showing as being at the depot in China. I was fooled by the nice local looking website. I can see the same item at the same price on Amazon with next day delivery. I bet it is a hassle to return and I’ll be charged shipping too. Pleased I ordered on my credit card.

First my order was dispatched, then somehow a week later 1 of the items was out of stock, then the whole order was refunded the week before christmas. After reading these reviews it seems I may have dodged a bullet.

As others have said, the items take a long time to arrive, are very expensive and are made in China. It looks like drop shipping site. Spend your money elsewhere.

Complete crap, charlatans feeding off the Montessori brand. Whilst one star is generous for service they provide, I cannot comment on the quality / durability of their products and materials, since they never arrived. I ordered several items 11/12/25 for a clutch of grandchildren in good time for Christmas delivery, and received an email the same day confirming the order. Two days later, 13/12, I was told the order was on its way and supplied with a tracking number. However, one week later, bemused and worried by its non-arrival, I looked at their website seeking an explanation in my account/ order details, only to discover they had unilaterally cancelled my order 18/12. Checking my emails, I found an explanation of sorts. 'Reaching out', their 'logistics partner' had evidently been 'overwhelmed by unexpectedly heavy demand (Christmas ffs! -edit) and was unfortunately unable to fulfil my order' which therefore 'had not moved forward as expected'. I can confirm I have not been offered any incentive to proffer this report! Fortunately not too late (20/12) to order some other Montessori gear in time for Christmas from Amazon, so still some hope for a semi-literate 3-year old grand daughter...
