When it comes to bags only the best is good enough and here at The Montrose Bag Company on the North East coast of Scotland, we put heritage and skill at the heart of what we do. Our parent company, Montrose Rope & Sail was founded back in 1789 to serve the Scottish fishing fleets. Fast-forward over two hundred years and MR&S is now the go-to provider of robust and durable all weather tarpaulins and kitbags for rig workers in the North Sea. Using skilled craftspeople and working with 100% waterproof materials, The Montrose Bag Company manufactures to the same high standards to create a complementary range of bags that can tough it out in the most testing of conditions. Over the last forty years countless offshore workers have come to depend on us for the specialised kit bags, backpacks, and other equipment they need to enable them to do their jobs safely and skilfully. But it’s not only oil industry professionals who value what we do. Time and time again we were asked to make our unique range of durable, versatile and reliable bags available to a wider audience. And so having invested in new cutting-edge technology we launched The Montrose Bag Company which builds on four generations of heritage and experience. Perfect Companion for Open Water Swimmers.

I am so pleased with the Clova Washbag and Organiser Set. I originally bought these to pair with my Jura Bag, and they have completely transformed how I manage my kit for open water swimming.

The organisation is spot on:

The Wash Bag: This is the perfect size for the "sauna dash." It neatly fits my underwear and fleece trousers, keeping them dry and ready for when I warm up post-swim at our lake.

The Large Bag: A total workhorse! It comfortably swallows my wet swimsuit, neoprene suit, gloves, and socks. The waterproof zip is the real hero here; it is 100% reliable. I can toss everything into my Jura bag without worrying about a single drop of water leaking onto my dry gear.

If you’re an open water swimmer looking for a durable, high-quality solution to keep your kit organised and dry, look no further. These are fabulous!

Bag order

The e mail communication before I placed the order was prompt and very helpful. The delivery was agreed for a specific date - it arrived on time.
The bag was exactly what I wanted; good build quality with panels stitched together well / storage for sport kit / the logo I requested was attached effectively.
