If there was a possible problem with my remortgage it materialised... started in November 2022, completed today (29th Feb 24)

Mortgage Bureau were the only consistent light of hope in the whole farcical process

Clear, helpful advice and instructions, not to mention the understanding when I fell apart on the phone after more bad news

Special mention to Andrew O'Toole who did exactly what he said he would at every step of the process even if it was only to very apologetically ring to say the lender hadn't got back to him as promised

I'll be back once the fixed rate expires

This is a second time we have used Mortgage Bureau and can't fault them. This time we needed to remortgage our house as the current one is expiring soon. Nicholas was very helpful, always available if we had any questions and found us great offer which was approved and all done within 3 weeks from initial meeting.

Excellent Service!
This is our first time using mortgage advice bureau and I cannot find any fault in their service or advice. My husband and I felt supported by Jordan throughout our whole journey. He provided answers to our questions and helped us find the right mortgage for our new home! Josh was also a great support with the admin side of the process.
Overall, I would highly recommended to my friends and family to use mortgage advice bureau. Amazing service!

Appalling

Sophie Williams we dealt with to start who just dropped the ball. Gave us an offer for mortgage which we decided to go with & emailed her the Thursday night. Heard nothing till the following Wednesday then that Friday she sent me all the details with a different mortgage rate costing us another £60 a month cause she obviously S***the bed & just didn’t tell us. She did not inform us that the rate had changed at all.
There were days where I would email her & just be ignored which I eventually called through & just got excuses. Not very professional at all.

Cainan Mitchell was the case handler very informative at times but things were dragging on due to HSBC delays & redeeming the help to buy just seemed like we were at a stand still.

Started our remortgage on 24th May was finally sorted 1st September which is just ridiculous.

Was mega stressed out dealing with mortgage bureau as I was chasing them to do a job I was paying them for. I would get an email to print & sign then a few days later more that had been missed.

I won’t be using them again.

Great experience with Tolga and all the team from their initial advice to submitting the mortgage application, and through to sorting insurance. Would definitely recommend :)

The whole process was made simple and straightforward. As a first-time buyer, Tolga has explained all the steps in detail, talked through options and submitted the AIP and mortgage application in less than 2 weeks.
Overall, pleased with the service provided.

We cannot recommend Mortgage Bureau enough. Everything was complete in a timely manner and complete transparency throughout. They were honest and open throughout and made a scary situation of buying our first house with two small children a stress fee.
