First class service from start to finish
First class service from start to finish. Veda, Leaoni and Joe were on the ball the whole time. Veda is, a very tenacious lady! Not forgetting Sam who was our first contact with the firm and who valued the property. A lovely and very helpful young man with his advice.

Great experience with both buying and selling with Mortimers. Personalised service, always so helpful and friendly. Our dedicated members of staff Leaoni and Charlotte were patient and understanding especially whilst the house was being sold. If we weren’t planning on never moving again, we would absolutely use Mortimers again.

Leaoni at Mortimers was fantastic
Leaoni at Mortimers was fantastic. She was always prompt, and brought an air of calm, competence and organisation that we desperately needed.
Our experience for our sale and the chain below was difficult, adding stress and frustration but it was a relief that Leaoni and Mortimers (estate agents on behalf of our buyers) were on the ball and always ready to go to the next stages.
Should I need an estate agent again in the future, I'd seriously consider Mortimers to act on our behalf.
(The hamper was also a nice touch)

Our Estate Agents
Some of the agents who accompanied viewers were next to clueless did this result in lost sales? and arrived late others actually from the estate agents were fine. The photos were adequate but could have been better to help with a sale. Over all a sale happened in the end but only after a significant price drop which didn't fulfill the original marketing expectations. The agents were always helpful and friendly

After each viewing, we followed up with every applicant, and they shared their own reasons for not moving forward, unrelated to the viewing process.
In terms of the photography, this was completed by our professional photographer, who used a range of editing techniques to showcase your property in the best possible light. Regarding the price reduction, this was aligned with the figure we originally discussed during your valuation. We understand it may have felt like a larger drop due to the higher figure advised by your previous agent.
We’re delighted that we were ultimately able to secure a buyer for you and help make your move to Australia possible. We wish you and your family all the very best with your relocation and hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

Firstly, I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the service you received. As discussed, although your offer was submitted in April, we did not receive confirmation from your estate agent that a sale had been agreed until early June. I appreciate your clarification that the sale was agreed prior to this date; however, for compliance purposes, we must receive formal confirmation from your estate agent before we are able to proceed with issuing the relevant documentation to the solicitors.
Once we were notified by your agent that a purchaser had been secured, we collated all funding and issued the Memorandum of Sale. From the point of issue, the transaction took approximately 18 weeks to reach completion, which falls within our recommended timeframe of 16–20 weeks.
That said, I do acknowledge that delays occurred towards the end of the conveyancing process due to our client’s need to secure a rental property—an increasingly challenging task in the current market. I understand your concerns regarding the lack of early notification about this requirement. Please be assured that we were only made aware of this ourselves during the later stages of the transaction, and we informed you as soon as we received the information.
Regarding communication, I apologise that your expectations were not met. While we strive to keep all clients as informed and updated as possible, we recognise that on this occasion we fell short, and for that I am sincerely sorry.

I was very happy with the service provided by Mortimers Blackburn Branch, especially as my house sold within a week! Chloe was very professional throughout and she gave excellent advice on all aspects of the sale, including preparations for putting my house on the market, photographs and viewings. Perfect service
Perfect service from start to finish. From the initial valuation from Chloe, through to the handling from Joe and the after sales support from Veda, I would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area. They dealt with solicitors and chased them meaning I didn’t have to lift a finger. 10/10 service.

Excellent service all around!
The entire Mortimers team were super efficient and assisted with every step of the way! Chloe - Bburn branch manager explained all from the initial steps to ensuring I was happy with the way all was handled. Special mention to my assigned negotiator Leaonie - excellent with the entire process chasing others and her comms were excellent. Reduced some of the stress of buying /selling houses as they promised. Previously I used mortimers 20yrs ago and although theyre now part of a larger chain, they impressed and did all they promised when appointing them! Well worth the money and wouldnt hesistate to recommend. They basically do what they promise plus more! Thanks Mortimers!

Fantastic service!
I have to say the staff have been wonderful from arranging our viewings at the start of our house buying journey right through to completion. Communication from my solicitor was non existent and Mortimers filled that gap and liased with the seller's solicitor to keep us informed of everything that was happening! Would highly recommend Mortimers.
