I've ordered from Woodie's many times…

I've ordered from Woodie's many times over the years and have always been happy with the service. Normally my orders arrive via DPD without any issues. In fact, this order was split into two deliveries, and DPD had the first part delivered within 24 hours.

The second part, however, was handed over to Movelocity, and that's where everything has gone wrong.

The tracking link they sent me doesn't work, and to make matters even more concerning, the email they sent states that I placed my order three days later than I actually did. Whether this is a mistake or a way of making their delivery times appear shorter, I don't know, but it immediately raised alarm bells for me.

Since then I've received no updates whatsoever. There has been no communication, no working tracking information, and no indication of where my order actually is.

Trying to contact Movelocity has been impossible. Every call goes straight to voicemail, and the voicemail itself cuts off after only a few seconds, making it impossible to even leave a message. There appears to be no meaningful customer service or way to speak to a real person.

At this stage, I'm genuinely worried. It feels as though my order has simply disappeared, and with no way of contacting the company or getting any information, the whole experience has left me questioning whether this is even a legitimate delivery operation.

What concerns me most is how a company providing this level of service can continue operating on behalf of well-known retailers. Customers are left completely in the dark with no accountability, no support, and no reassurance that their purchases will ever arrive.

All I want to know is where my order is. If it cannot be delivered, then I want a full refund. Right now, I've paid for goods that I don't have, can't track, and can't even speak to anyone about. As a customer, that's an incredibly upsetting and worrying position to be in.

I got a delivery that was wrong and had to open the packet to actually prove it to the driver, it was a one man white van show, the item was wrong, he refused point blank to take it back and then had the audacity to report item as delivered. You ring their phone number and it rings off ie they cut you off. Just be aware if you are getting a delivery from this crowd, be on your guard. They have caused me untold problems and all they had to do was take back the wrong item and report it as such.

Movelocity are the company ever! I took a half day off work to receive my delivery on Friday 3rd July Nobody showed up, no email, no phone call. I was following the tracking all afternoon and my delivery time kept being pushed back, it stopped updating at 5.30 Friday evening and I have heard a word from them since!! Still waiting for my item. I purchased my item from “VERY” who can’t even contact them either 😡 but yet the hire them to do their deliveries!!! The movelocity phone number is just an automated answer service and just cuts off after about 60 seconds. Stay as far as possible from this company! The are so incompetent it’s incredible 😡😡

Save yourself time, don't use this company

If I had read these reviews I would not have ordered through Very as my experience is exactly the same. Company said " no one at home to accept delivery" which was absolute lie. Tried to call the company but no one picks up despite multiple calls. Very did at least pick up the phone but have also been unable to get any response from Movelocity. I simply cannot understand why so many large companies that I see mentioned here continue to employ them.

They delivered our sofas but they…

They delivered our sofas but they didn't give us any phone call or text to give us a time to arrange to get rid of our old sofas so we asked them could they just put our old one out the front for a while and they said yes but what they did was leave the new sofas out the front in the lashing rain and drove off and they were so rude so now we have 2 new soaking sofas they are disgraceful

No problems with delivery. 5 stars

I can happily report that I had no issues with the delivery service from this company. I ordered a large item from Very.ie, and this company delivered it on time. The delivery driver also called in advance of the delivery time to let me know he was on the way. 5 stars, thank you guys.

Excellent experience.

My experience with movelocity was excellent. Although my original pick up was unsuccessful. When I contacted movelocity I was answered straight away by Dawn. From the beginning of the interaction to the pick up Dawn stayed with the process and kept me updated every step of the way. She was polite and efficient and within a very short time frame everything was sorted.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID Movelocity company.
Worst delivery company ever, lost my parcel, constantly lying, promising to deliver the item the next day.
19 days have passed, and the item is still not delivered.

1 star – I would give 0 if it were possible.
Terrible company with awful organization. I have never experienced anything like this before. My bike was still at home almost three weeks after the collection order was placed.
Saturday was the fourth failed collection attempt, always for the same reason. They never provide a proper time schedule. Instead, they send a useless tracking link by email from a no-reply address, so there is no way to contact them or respond.
Saturday it got even worse. They did not even call me. I was following the driver’s route through the tracking link, and suddenly the status was updated to “not at home / no answer on the phone.” This is simply not true because no one called me at all.
I have called the number they provided (01-9609336) at least 100 times in the past three weeks, and no one ever answers. It honestly feels like no one is even working there.
This situation has been causing me a lot of stress. Four times now they have either shown up with no notice or simply marked the collection as failed.
After weeks of this completely dysfunctional process, I eventually had to solve the problem myself: yesterday I put the bike in a friend’s car and drove 24 km just to deliver it myself.
This is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Completely unreliable.

Communication failure all around, terrible service

Next advised that Movelocity are to give 15minutes notice of a delivery , this didnt happen. The delivery window was between 7.30am & 6pm. I missed the call by minutes, I called the driver several times, no reply. I left a voicemail & message, no response. I emailed & phoned head office, no response . Next sorted it a few days later & a lovely driver delivered the order. Customer care with this company is non existent.

Awful from start to finish.

Where to start?? They arrived twice without notification, after the first time I had called and emailed multiple times to ask for an hours notice- no response. I contacted Next who put it on the delivery notes that a phone call be made an hour before. Did they call?? NOPE. Also, I paid for a 2 man delivery service to a room of my choice, only one fella showed up and dragged the bed in from the van- no way on earth was he going to be able to carry it upstairs for me- not his fault of course. Had to leave in downstairs. Absolutely terrible service from start to finish.

Absolutely atrocious service from Movelocity. Bed dumped outside house in heavy rain for 2 days. No pre notice of delivery and impossible to liaise with this company. Would absolutely never buy anything that uses this company again. Dreadful.

I ordered a lawnmower from Woodies. Received a tracking e-mail with tracking details. The order should have been delivered within 2 days, and it's now been 9 days. The tracking on the delivery day went as far as showing a status of "Exceeds Distance Threshold". Not sure what that means, but in the end no delivery has occured.

Failure on every level.

Delivery attempted with no notice and no-show when it was scheduled.

Finally only received one of two packages and no word from their customer service when queried multiple times.

Had to seek a refund from the retailer in the end.

Missing Parcel

Parcel delivery from Very should have had 3 boxes, they delivered 2 marked all 3 as delivered and signed on my behalf, can't be contacted since, be very careful dealing with this company, I wouldn't order anything from anywhere that uses them in future, total scam.

Very.ie now use this company to pick up big items for return
Company based in Cork Ireland.I had the team from Athlone call to my house for a return.These people.were a man a woman..Father and daughter team..They were a joy to deal with so polite and helpful and cheerful. So thank you both for a smooth and efficient collection of my faulty cooker back to Very.ie...plus also your expert help with the wrapping.
