Very slow delivery over 11day and waiting. customer service poor when complained very slow there response (you have the choice to make the order or not). I will not make another one.

Stihl Battery mower

Bought a Stihl RMA443 Battery mower. Delivery was fast. Very helpful courier helped with unpack and let me check it out before taking away the pallet. No issues with the mower since.

Check your on the right site…

I clicked onto the mower.ie to check if they had the Honda izy mower. But before I ordered it I checked them out on Trustpilot and was happy with the reviews. I ordered it and later that day I checked the reviews again and it had very bad reviews. I kind of panicked thinking I’ve made a bad mistake and phoned the company about it. They assured me there was no problem with their company and that I would get my lawnmower. I went back on Trustpilot for another look and as I passed down below Mower.ie there was another one by the name of Mowers.ie (but with a (S) on the end) and that’s the one I read by mistake. It’s a scam site. Can’t understand why Trustpilot would put the sites so close together. I got my lawnmower and am very happy with it 'and the service was excellent. I would have no problem doing business with this company again.

Mountfield ride on mower…

I purchased a Mountfield ride on mower thru the site and also spoke with Ollie who was very helpful and gave great advise on my intended purchase. It arrived a week later to Roscommon, fully assembled, ready to go with oil, petrol and the delivery guy also went thru details of the machine. Could not be more helpful and delighted with my purchase. Nice company to deal with.

Excellent service.

I checked by phone before placing an order that the mower we wanted was in stock. Staff were very helpful and I managed to order in time to get next day delivery. As we have electric gates I needed to know an approximate delivery time, driver called ahead of delivery and then went through the functions of the mower with me when he arrived. It came all set up and ready to use. Perfect service would definitely recommend this company.

I bought a battery-powered lawnmower

I bought a battery-powered lawnmower, which I’m very happy with. The choice on the website was great. There were a couple of small issues, one where the payment didn’t go through and the other where the wrong battery was shipped. The issues were resolved extremely quickly professionally and rapidly. The sign of a really good company is how they deal with issues and mower.ie certainly dealt with these perfectly.

Out of stock, No Refund

I placed an order with Mower.ie and received a confirmation email stating it was processed. After weeks of no delivery and unanswered emails, I finally managed to contact them by phone.The representative on the phone was highly unprofessional, confirmed they did not actually have the stock, and agreed to a refund. However, they refused to issue a standard transaction reversal. Instead, they demanded that I provide my full credit card number and expiry date over the phone/email to get my money back.This is a massive security risk and violates standard Visa/Mastercard merchant rules. They are now refusing to return my money through safe channels. I have been forced to initiate a formal chargeback dispute through my bank to recover my funds. Avoid this company.
Update:
Thank you for your reply, Robin. However, none of this would even be an issue if your company had proactively notified me that the item was out of stock and issued a prompt refund. Instead, I was left completely in the dark after receiving a "processed" email on April 23rd. I had to send multiple unanswered emails and call several times just to discover the item wasn't available.Furthermore, you claim your system can only issue an automatic refund for up to a week after purchase. If that is true, you had an entire week to reverse the charge safely through your portal before the deadline passed, but you failed to do so.For strict security reasons and on advice from my bank, I will not provide my full card details over the phone or email. If your terminal cannot handle a standard transaction reversal, you are welcome to send the refund via an international bank transfer (SEPA). I have already initiated a formal chargeback through VeloBank and will gladly update this review as "resolved" the moment my funds are safely returned.

I see you edited your review to call us "conartists". I would like to clarify this is absolutely not what we are.


You ordered on the 23rd April, due to the item not being currently available, we have offered to process your refund many times since April 30th and each time you refused to accept it.


We need to process the refund back to the original card which made the payment. Unfortunately our system does not have your card details stored so we requested them over a phone call rather than by email to process your refund immediately.


As you are located in a different country and calling to our store for a secure refund via our visa terminal is not an option, please contact me directly via email robin@mower.ie and we can try to find a secure way of returning your funds immediately.



Update: We have refunded your €52.96 in full including any delivery charges paid via EFT to the IBAN number you privided to us today 28th May.

I ordered two chaiDelayed Delivery and Lack of Responsensaw holders on…

I ordered two chainsaw holders on December 7. On December 8, I was informed that the items are usually delivered within 1–3 business days. Since I had not received the items after one week, I contacted the seller on December 15.

I was then sent a tracking link and informed that, due to Christmas, there would be a delivery delay of 2–3 days. However, the shipment status shown by the shipping provider has remained the same since December 9: “Your item is being sorted for delivery,” which I also pointed out.

On December 22, I contacted the seller again because the shipment status still had not changed. My inquiry has remained unanswered to this day. The shipment status has now been unchanged for three weeks, and I have neither received the items I already paid for nor any response to my last email.

Sincere apologies for the delay in receiving your order.

I will write a couple of points to explain the issues you had when shopping with us.


1. The delay in delivery was due to you being located outside of Ireland and ordering in December just before Christmas when all postal services are running above capacity. I understand this is frustrating but unfortunately beyond our control. Any expected postal delivery dates we give are in good faith but our postal partners can have unexpected delays after we provide you with any information.


2. Delayed response from our customer care team on the email you sent on the 22nd of December was caused by our annual Christmas break. We close each year for 2 weeks over the Christmas period as this is usually the quietest time of year for us and a time for us to get a well earned rest.

Apologies again for the frustration this caused you and I hope this helps explain things.

Top class service and machine.

Top class information on initial phone call to shop on a leaf vacuum.
Machine was delivered full assembled and ready to work, along with full familiarisation.
All in all, great service and great people to deal with.
Machine also works beyond expectation.

I ordered a Piranha strimmer/hedge trimmer/pole saw one day. It arrived the next day.
This was important to me as i run a gardening service and needed it badly
