There is no one talk to when the app…
There is no one talk to when the app bills immediately at the start of parking £15:48 for a one hour 15 minute stay in wandsworth. When I try to use the chatbot it doesn't understand me! When I queue up for an Agent they say I am number 67 in the queue someone will contact me in an hour or two then I get a message a while later saying sorry we missed you! However they didnt waste time taking money from my account that was seconds after starting the parking session. Service is ABYSMAL 😡
I still have not managed to log in…
I still have not managed to log in after so many attempts. We went to Epping Forrest for the first time yesrerdat and were at the point of coming home when a lovely man offered to use his log in. My thanks to him. I am now back home trying to register using my Internet but still no luck. Clearly Ringgo has little interest in its customers or it would seek to improve its offering. Sadly there are still some companies out there wh don't care!

If it were possible to rate 0 stars I would. Tried to pay for parking at a Forestry England site. Verifications codes didn't work, so phoned the telephone number. Voice recognition doesn't work on that. Finally managed to pay and they added an extra 'convenience charge' on top of the parking fee, which was not optional.
Rubbish, move to another car park.
This rubbish system only received one star as I couldn't give it none. I entered my details four times exactly the same and all correct no mistakes. This app just kept repeatedly saying enter my details. I gave up in the end and moved to another car park where not only did the machine accept tap and go but it was half the price of this rubbish.

Worse parking app ever
Out of the plethora of parking apps being forced on us, RingGo is by far the worst and most frustrating. Not only is it abysmal to use, it appears to have been designed to be as difficult as possible to navigate and with the worst customer service experience ever.
My heart sinks whenever I’m fixed to use it and I now actively go out of my way to avoid car parks that use it.
Just not fit for purpose!
Paid to park in a council car park for 1 hour. No reminder appeared to extend my stay if needed. Then suddenly it booted me out of app, asked to verify several times, then change password, still didn't work.
Reinstalled app, turned phone off and on. Still not working!!! Just keep getting message 'sorry we are unable to park you as no return rule in place', I didn't get a ticket luckily, but even though I'm home, it still keeps giving this stupid message!! NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE CAUSING NECESSARY STRESS!!!
Awful app
Awful app , tried 1st time and got no confirmation text then got a text but the app didn’t recognise my legitimate Number plate and threw me out . Useless . Would not bother . Ensure you have cash so you can bypass it
RingGo App: Poor Connectivity & lack of council support
On 12th August 2025 I attempted to make a parking payment using the RingGo App on my iPhone in South Street, Exeter. After several attempts the app kept defaulting to "Session Timeout. You must login again to continue using RingGo" despite me confirming my email address and mobile number. The App in summary would not enable me to login.
I took a screenshot of what the app was displaying before leaving to visit a nearby barbers shop. Upon return some 40 minutes later an enforcement officer had just written out a ticket and presented it to me. I showed him the RingGo App display screenshot. He took a photo of my screenshot and assured me that he would present this information to the council and suggested I challenge the enforcement notice. I did so but Devon County Council took a different view, stating that it was my responsibility to pay for parking and that the RingGo App wasn’t at fault. I even retrospectively paid for an hours parking when the RingGo App actually worked upon returning home and connected to my wi-fi.
Very disappointed with Devon County Council for not taking a more sympathetic view on the matter and who have now demanded a £25 fine to be paid in 14 days or £50 fine to be paid in 30 days.
I have now closed my RingGo account and deleted the App from my iPhone and will in future have £ coins in my car and pay at a parking meter.
Just an awful experience
Just an awful experience, could not get the app as saying linked to something else I had and to reset password, which didn't work either. Didn't park, and local business also missed out.
HATE this company
HATE this company, and frustrated they're used by all London authorities, so if not successful using the app to park, drivers run the risk of receiving a fine. in the past, the app wouldn't download and open properly. This time I when I tried to register with the app it refused to accept me as my email was already known to the company. I had no way of solving this problem with a human.

Personally these companies make their money from dishonesty with hidden fees hidden in their T&C's that you do not have time to read when parking. My 1st time using as the only option of how to pay. £3.00 all day parking fee and 20p fee to Ringo. adds up to £3.20. wrong paid £3.40, 20p just because I wanted confirmation of my booking. True highway robbery. It's only £3.40 I here you say. but it's the principle that these extra fee's are not easily found. I'll carry on with cash thanks, get what you pay for.
Councils stop using Ringo
Why do councils keep giving this dreadful company contracts to operate their parking. The customer service is awful if you actually speak to anyone that is. I changed my car updated my details on my residents permit on Ringo - accepted. However 28 days later it reverted back to my old reg. At no point did it tell me this was a temporary change nor send me a notification . I got a ticket of course I appealed and they withdrew the charge (that’s the first time I’ve ever had a successful appeal). My parking session is now coming to an end but it won’t let me extend - it says you can’t extend as there is an active session. I know that I want to extend this active session before it runs out. As usual customer service unavailable

Terrible App , couldn’t download on my iPhone 15, wasted 40 minutes, had to abandon the parking in Harrogate location , fortunately found another parking with an app that downloaded in 2 min .. so it’s not my phone problem

Incorrect signage lead to a fine, of course I appealed but nothing came of it, also the company used to collect the debt is highly unresponsive meaning its boarder line impossible to see anything from a suitation like this

Awful app, won’t accept password, never get emails to reset bla bla bla. Stressful and perhaps a metaphor for 21st century life…it just never works smoothly.

Ringo take no responsibility or involvement when you get a parking ticket related to vehicles type even when Ringo select your ticket from the registration entered and show up the car details before payment.
No accountability for the product they have supplied. Poor show.
