After my review disclosing that my timeshare went to Timely Acquisitions and that company filed for bankruptcy Newton Group is challenging my review as real. I am out thousands of dollars and still stuck with a timeshare. When they called me about my review I asked for my money back and then no response. I will keep updating this review until I get my money back because I’m still out major money given to them. Be warned.

The Newton Group made our cancellation of our timeshare so easy! They did what said they would do and got us out of our obligations. I couldn’t be happier about that. It was a process but they kept us informal

If I could give no stars I would! Newton group told my retired, widowed mother who's on a fixed income that they would help her get out of a Westgate timeshare. 8 years later and we still have no success. They are simply telling her to stop paying the maintenance fees and wait for the company to foreclose on the property and then they will take action. So not only will my mother's credit be ruined but also mine and my brothers because we are the heirs. Do not use them do not talk to them do not give them your money. This process should not take more than 12 months maximum. Scam!

Paying upfront, bad idea. After signing I found them untrustworthy and felt misled. While they performed no real work, I was refused any refund and offered no alternatives. I canceled the contract and am left with a substantial loss and a hard lesson. I felt they operated like a timeshare sales personnel.

Thank You. Newton Group was so helpful in the process of getting right of the timeshare. First company we tried failed and abandon us. We found the Newton Group and they stepped up to the plat and were total rock stars. Start to finish. So happy they were able to get rid of the timeshare for us. Would total recommend them.

That they did what they said they would do. They were friendly and kept me updated during the process.

Newton Group delivered what was promised and we are out from under our timeshare. It was a long process but they communicated with us regularly and responded quickly when we had a question or asked for an update. We had the same representative through the whole process which was very helpful. Definite 5 stars!

They took a payment in 6/24 for about $3500 and nothing was done for a year and a half. They immediately transferred the account to DC Capital. That company was supposed to send me a form back in 7/24 in order to notify the time share that they were representing me. I never received it and they never followed up. I sent several emails about the status with no replies until an exasperated one that I sent in 10/25. That is when I found out that they had not even contacted the time share until 10/25, after they received my email. The reason I was a given was that two paralegals quit back in the summer of 2024 and some things had fallen through the cracks. They claim that nothing would have been different because you have to wait long periods but I don't believe that. Since the time share was notified several weeks ago, they have sent emails, a letter with the form and now a certified letter. They are obviously very interested in starting the process, which now may have been delayed by more than a year and a half.

Procees was easier to get rid of the timeshare then we expected. Less expensive as well.

When we called, they explained the process and the possibility that it could take quite some time. After a conference call with attorneys and Newton Group staff and directions on what information they needed, all we had to do then was wait for updates. The process was not complicated nor difficult in regard to our part. We were very pleased with their service.

It took a long time, but they did get it done. We used the Newton Group after being burned by 2 other time share exit teams, so I was VERY hesitant. But they did get us out of our week, we are never getting a time share again.

The Newton Group did an excellent job for us. They explained every step and gave us options to consider before we chose to proceed in ending our timeshare contract. If we had any questions or concerns they worked with us making sure we understood how the legal process works.

Straightforward, honest approach to the process. Briefed us on all options, and once we selected one they efficiently took action.

When I contacted The Newton Group they went into great detail explaining the process for exiting my timeshare and answered my questions with thoroughness and patience helping me to understand the process and the cost.
They were always prompt at getting back to me if I had a question and when they had paperwork for me to process they were very good at explaining every document and how to process them.
I am very pleased with the work they did for me. It has been a great help to be free of the timeshare.

They were great. Kept us informed, frequent check-ins, great legal advice when we needed it, and kept their promise of helping us divest from the timeshare. Even though it took time, we never had to pay maintenance fees and eventually, we were free.

Hiring the Newton Group to get out of my Timeshare was a great decision. I bought my timeshare when my kids were young, and it was good at first. Soon after the maintenance fees started to skyrocket. As my kids grew up and started their own lives We barely used it. I called the company to try to sell it back and they said NO and basically I'm locked in for life. I called Newton and was skeptical at first, but It took about 9 months for them to negotiate a great deal for me. The cost was the same as my annaul maintenance fee. The Newton group was professional and handled everything for me. They were great and worth every penny!

False Promises. We contracted with Newton Group to exit our timeshare paying a large amount of $ and we chose to go with a 3rd party because we were told it would be a quicker process. Timely Acquisitions is said 3rd party. This has been nothing but a headache. Going from listening to these people tell us about how they were going to help us to having absolutely nothing done and no contact unless I contact them.

In 2024 our initial timeshare property was being sold/liquidated for lack of use. We did our due diligence and took the option to transfer our ownership to another resort, one that is very popular and we thought would be easier to sell. Crickets. And found out that the first 2 1/2 yrs of working with Timely Acquisitions is for naught because the contract restarted in December of 2024 when we transferred to a different resort because we HAD to.

Now we found out the second resort we were talked into purchasing for the points to bring us up to the correct level to exchange is being liquidated/sold as well. Instead of being able to combine with the existing timeshare, it's separate and is Trust Points, not tied to a resort.

I've reached out to Timely Acquisitions and am awaiting a response. Keeping my fingers crossed they don't tell us AGAIN that our contract will now start over again.

We are retired and on a fixed income. We thought we were doing the right thing by using Newton Group and Timely Acquisitions to exit our timeshare. We've not used it in years and don't want the expense of the maintenance fees to go to our children should something happen to us.

We feel so betrayed and disappointed that companies do this to people, especially retirees living on a fixed income.

After reading other posts, it would have been cheaper for us to just stop paying the maintenance fees and see what happens. We are now $13K in the hole and nothing has been done. Stay away from Newton Group.
