Despicable and corrupt workers and service that operate like mafia

Corrupt workers and service. We were boarding a flight worth 1500 baht. They did not weigh our bags at the check in counter, yet when we boarded they weighed our carry on luggage and deemed it to be 10 kg overweight. If this was told to us during the check in process, then we would have checked in the extra kgs into our luggage, since had all checked in luggage worth over 10kg of free space. And all of our heaviest items (shoes, jeans, cosmetics were in the carry on lugggae with us. After this, they created a scene with 5+ members of staff at the gate, causing a huge scene and creating a dramatic conflict that made us feel forced to pay 4000 baht (when our entire flight only costed 1500 baht). They forced us to pay this at the gate, minutes before flying, and would not let us pay later by card or even listen to our explanation that we had paid for excess baggage that was not being utilized, and our friends (5 friends) also had unused baggage of around 10kg per person. However they still forced us to pay the amount, despite the fact that this could have been handled WITHOUT ANY FEE if it was noted and explained during the check in period before passing through security. Venunun Kherlai was an extremely rude member of staff with despicable and terrible service. She is a disgrace to Nok Air. We will update our reviews only if we are refunded for the extortion that we experienced at the hands of Nok Air.

No Service

Benyt ikke dette selskab, jeg gentager, benyt det ikke.
Forsinkede fly og ingen service.
Kun en chat robot, der bare gentager sit spørgsmål.
Aldrig kommer jeg til at bruge dette selskab igen og jeg kan absolut ikke anbefale det.
Fik et svar på Mail.
Det er ikke vores Policy at refundere, heller ikke selvom du har tilkøbt forsikring.

Mein Kumpel und ich sind von Surat…

Mein Kumpel und ich sind von Surat thani nach Bangkok geflogen mit Nok air .
Der Service ist bei nook air so unterschiedlich im weiten schlimmer als Zb bei Ryan air und dass Personal ist im algenein ziemlich unfreundlich und man fühlt sich an Board auch erlich gesagt nicht wilkommen...
Abgesehen davon war es ein ständiges hin und her beim Check in und Baggage drop off sowie am Gate .
Dazu was ich am seltsamsten fande .
Ich habe mir nach der Sicherheitskontrolle im Gate bereich ein Getränk gekauft wo mir strict verweigert wurde dies mit an Board zu nehmen und dann noch in einen ziemlich abwertigem Ton...
WTF bitte was ?

Ich Fliege viel und habe sowas in der art tartsächlich davor noch nie erlebt !
Dazu war die Landung mit dennen EXTREM hard !
Verspätung hatten wir auch ein bissl gehabt aber dies war noch im axeptablen bereich im allen ist diese airline aber echt nicht zu emphelen .
War sehr unangenehm mit dennen zu Fliegen .
Einmal und nie wieder .

Horrible service inside plane

I paid my seat like I made always with all companies in first line dd142.

When I sit I was alone without no one back to me cuz not too much people pay that expensive seats.

But after the crew put some old person sick back my seat and doesn't stop to cough in all trip.

The finally I will get sick

Flüge gecancelt, verschoben und verspätet - wow

Unsere Inlandsflüge wurden gestrichen und anschließend nochmal verschoben, ohne dass man uns eine vernünftige Alternative angeboten hat. Und wenn man dann endlich am Flughafen ankommt, sieht man, dass der Flug wieder einmal Verspätung hat und das Gate dreimal gewechselt werden muss. Wie kann so etwas passieren? Wie kann man nur so schlecht planen?

Für uns bedeutete das zusätzliche Kosten, verlorene Urlaubszeit und jede Menge Frust. Selbst der Check-in vor Ort oder eine schnelle Gepäckabgabe, obwohl man bereits online eingecheckt hat, ist nicht an jedem Flughafen möglich (zum Beispiel in Krabi). Nie wieder – beim nächsten Mal werde ich auf jeden Fall lieber etwas mehr Geld für eine zuverlässige Airline ausgeben.

Das Bodenpersonal war freundlich.

Nok Air are prolific for cancelling…

Nok Air are prolific for cancelling flights. We booked Krabi to Bangkok for our first flight of our return journey home to the UK. 2 weeks before leaving for our trip they cancelled the flight, which meant we had to rebook the same date but for a different time. The day we are due to fly, we arrive at Krabi airport to find our flight had been cancelled again. This time, no notice, no email, nothing! We eventually get booked on the next flight which was actually a delayed flight from earlier that day due to leave an hour after our original flight. We go through security, we’re waiting for our flight and find out it’s delayed because an Air Asia flight is stuck at our gate. What??? Just move us to another gate!! The staff were useless, fobbing everyone off, making up lies and being extremely unhelpful. We eventually get informed after enquiring again that they moved us to another gate and we’d be boarding another 30 mins later. We start queueing and 10 mins after we were due to board, we’re told it’ll be another 30 mins. Bearing in mind this was a connecting flight and we needed to get from Don Muang to Suvabharmu to get our flight home to the UK. Eventually we board and set off 2.5 hours after we were supposed to depart on our original flight. Absolute nightmare of an airline and will never use again

Flight from Chiang Mai to Bangkok

Bought flight tickets from Chiang Mai to Bangkok. One month after - flight was cancelled by Nok Air. It is impossible to communicate with them. No reaction, no money return, nothing... Never again.

I highly recommend not using this…

I highly recommend not using this airline because they are constantly changing flight times and delays and are not capable of normal operations. If so, you are very lucky. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Unreliable.👎

Ideaal naar en van Chiang Mai

Twee keer met NOK AIR gevlogen voor onze binnenlandse vluchten op reis in Thailand: naar en van Chiang Mai.
Was telkens op tijd, vriendelijk personeel, heel vlot door de luchthaven en relaxte sfeer. Aanrader prijs-kwaliteit.

BROKE MY SUITCASE AND OFFERED $6

They broke my bag and apologized and wanted to give me $6.17 AS COMPENSATION!!! MY BAG IS 80 dollars!! When I said that was outrageous they denied me based on “not having insurance”! Are you kidding me? I NEED to have insurance and PAY more otherwise they don’t pay you if THEY break YOUR bag!!??? Horrible airline

Avoid Nok Air.

I booked a midday flight through Expedia to align with important customer meetings. Two days later, Nok Air canceled the flight and gave me two poor alternatives: 8am or 6pm — both completely disrupting my plans.

When I requested a refund, Nok Air agreed but told me to speak to Expedia. Expedia then transferred me back to Nok Air’s consolidation center, where I spoke to an agent (Jessica) who was rude, unhelpful, and ultimately hung up on me when I asked for a manager.

After more time on hold with the main call center, I was told the original agent gave incorrect instructions. Now I must wait five days, call Expedia again, and chase the refund myself.

Unprofessional, disorganized, and a complete waste of time.
Nok Air — the worst airline experience I've had in Asia.

Vol retardé sans raison

Vol retardé sans raison, personnel peu aimable, avion et équipement désuet.
Le plateau repas comportait du riz blanc avec des champignons et une bouteille d'eau.
Je ne m'attendais à rien et je suis quand même déçu

Pire compagnie que j'ai pris de ma vie !
Ils ont pesé nos bagages cabines pour ensuite nous dire que c'est 100€ pour le surplus, mais qu'on pouvait mettre nos affaires dans les sacs a dos avant de les remettre dans les bagages cabines. Perte de temps et obligé d'ouvrir ses bagages devant tous les autres passagers...

Nous avons pris l'option premium qui garantie un repas pendant le vol, évidemment il n'y avait pas de choix sur le plat, un seul proposé, riz blanc et champignons, pas de possibilité d'avoir un second choix ou de prendre autre chose car tous les plats sont payants et le riz champignon est le moins cher...

Le personnel n'a pas cherché à nous aider, à rendre le voyage plus agréable, ou à trouver une solution.

Les avions sont des Boeing 737-800 très mal entretenus.

Je ne recommande pas, si vous estimez votre vie, votre temps et votre argent ne volez jamais avec Nok Air !!!

Quite getting a bad airlines.

Quite bad airlines.

Second experience with them and it is getting baddest.
Sent a first time my feedback thru their website, never received any acknowledgement from them.
Just completed a round trip recently with them and without exaggerating they are bad.
They are not only bad, they are unfriendly.
One hour late on the ongoing flight and 30 mn late on the return despite the captain announced before landing that we will be earlier.
Grumpy to arrogant crew which seems not that happy to work for this airlines.
Was thinking they will be better than Thai Air Asia and at the end they are not at all.
Old plane, on the return flight, a very annoying noise near the window which I can ease by putting my head on it and realize how this part was dirty, oily from previous passengers sit on this seat who probably did the same thing. Yikes.
Ground airport staff were average.
Very disappointing and will avoid them the maximum I can.
Seems they do have some financial issues or re structuration which might be the cause of the effect.

NOK Air worst customer experience

NOK Air was the worst customer experience I ever had with an airline regarding luggage policies. I will never fly with them again. We booked through booking and standard ist 15kg for a luggage piece. It was not possible to book additional kg for luggage in advance via booking so we tried to contact customer service of nok air but no one ever replied to us. It then said for additional 15kg you have to pay around 550 baht on the website but beware as this only is valid 24h before the day of the flight (this is not written clearly on the website!!!) otherwise you have to pay 400 Baht per kilo so we ended up paying more for the luggage (181€) than for the ticket. The staff at the baggage drop was also very rude and smiled at our problem and did not care at all. She said we can ship the baggage separately which makes no sense as you never know when it arrives and cost a lot as well. I will never book with them again as the customer service is not existent and they are ripping of customers with additional luggage.

5KG at the airport is more than the flight

They tried to charge me more for an extra 5kg than the entire price of the ticket. They had an online option to do it for less than 10 dollars but they remove that option once you’re at the airport because they know they got you now. Extremely rude staff too, they’ll use phrases like “if you cannot pay” and that you could consider a parcel “if you cannot pay” I can pay it. I just don’t do it out of principle. I booked another ticket for 10 dollars more at another airline just out of spite. Avoid at all costs.

Do not give these people your money!

I do not know where to start with this review - This whole company is a shambles and the staff are extremely rude. After travelling over Thailand for 3 weeks and using various airlines which no issues as all, we then had the dreaded encountering of Nok. To start with our 1st flight time was changed, to which then it got further delayed by 3 hours, leaving us in Chiang Mai airport until 11:30pm when all of the food places shut at 9pm. Not great when you have a 4yr old? Which then meant not getting to our booked hotel until after 1am which is ruined our next day. They then were picking on mainly families or our return flight and weighing cases - we had even checked in at the check in desk, had the hand luggage weighed and allowed through - The issue was at the gate when they like to pull people from the queue and mock them in front of the crowd. 2 of ours were under the allowed 7kg and one was over by 2kg so they demanded money to allow our case on, they wouldn’t allow us to open and split the extra weight into the other cases - One case was only 4kg. So our allotted 21kg between the 3 cases was well under. That flight was also delayed by an hour as well, which once again meant a late night getting to our accommodation. They just never seem to be able to fly on time and the staff are extremely rude on the ground and the stewards as well on the planes. As per previous reviews, use a different company as everyone seems to be having issues with Nok and now I can see why.

Got to airport desk not open yet finally opened had one check in bag of 10 kilo they charged me 1200 bht for one way 1900 bht if book return paid that went through to departure only to find out plane is delayed have not been told how long yet this is my first and last trip with nok air
