The advertisement for the giveaways is untrue. The commercial says "No Purchase Necessary."
Then you go to the website and find out you have to BUY a membership to enter the giveaway. Total false advertising.

I recently heard about One Country. I followed them on social, then their app. I love their giveaways and non profit partnerships. Keep up the good work!

I ordered a pair of boots from them a month ago. Never got shipping details. Checked the website it said 3-4 business days so I waited. A week passed so I emailed the support email (the only form of communication listed on the website) they didn’t answer for almost a week. When they did answer they said they were moving warehouses and that’s why it was delayed but they would be shipped that day. I waited 3 weeks. Still no shipping information. I have sent countless emails at this point with no response. This is ridiculous I paid over $300 for a pair of boots and get no communication and scammed.
Look at all of the 5 star reviews, check their dates. They're all from April 2023. Up until this point, the reviews were mixed, but you can see that they get a huge boost in their ratings in April 2023.
They are most likely within the confines of legality.
But legality and scummy are two different things.
What they do is rather scummy.
You can enter their raffles through a "membership" that you have to purchase. And they hide, with all their might, the free/alternate method of entering. Yes, in the US raffles have to have the option to enter free. Because entry into a raffle cannot be "bought". The way companies skirt around is it to have paid raffles, but have the "free" option hidden somewhere.
To top it off, the prizes seem to be "leases" in which you don't actually get to own anything you win.
To me, what they're doing is rather deceptive.
If you want to find more information or details on the company, it's very hard to find. They have no address or information on their "about us", just fluff. Their contact method is an online form only.
There's 0 transparency on who they are and what they really do.

I see people complain about customer service. I recently needed to change my credit card information. I did what a lot of people don't do. I followed their instructions...update went very smoothly!
I see complaints about having to pay to enter. It's a fundraiser people. Would you take cookies from a girl scout without paying for them? Besides, I think you can enter for free. Follow the instructions!

I do not think this is a scam. You have to have a subscription to get entries into their giveaways. HOWEVER, it is almost impossible to cancel. The only way to contact these people is to send a message through their website. It takes a week or more to get a real response (other than the automated "thanks for reaching out to us we will get back to you" message). I've been trying to cancel for over a month. I'm going to deny the charges on my card. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I have sent emails as directed to cancel my subscription and received an automated response to the effect of “we’ll get to it” Two months later they are still charging me. Do not recommend.

I was hoping TrustPilot would provide more info about the company, like what state it is in. Because I can’t find it on One Country’s website. Contact info shouldn’t just be a web form.

Scam .. what free drawing when you have to make a purchase to get in the drawing. And when you try to stop the cell notifications you can't. I've tried 3 times to stop them from sending their stupid mailings but you can't ... and there's NO corporate number to even call to complain to. DO NOT ENTER this so-called free drawing.

So I guess even verified companies (doesn't mean crap) with enough money for apps and advertising can be a scam! Entered into one contest, entries shown were messed up in my app, entries shown were inaccurate. Reached out to support multiple times to get it straightened out with zero responses. The contest was coming to an end and so I reached out a couple more times with nothing other that an auto reply and a lie about responding within a certain amount of time. Contest ended with my entries all screwed up, so I never had a chance. Some person won (which was probably fake), and I still have no reply to my account/ entry issues. Tried to cancel so One country doesn't scam me out of yet another payment, but they don't seem to make that easy or have an option in app. So now due to One Country being yet another POS scamming leech in this world, I'll have to dispute it with my bank and probably only get part of my money back, as well as the waste of time all this has been. And they have the nerve to respond to bad reviews and say dumb crap like I don't know why people feel the need to say bad stuff and ruin our reputation, like stfu! Ya dirty crap filled D hole! Bad reviews because you're a fake scam and you only reply to bad reviews to try to trick others and scam more people into believing the bad reviews are not a true testimony of the people who already believed One Country's Bull Crap!
Don't believe the fake reviews or reviews done by dumb af people, you don't give a 5 star review to a company just because. Yet there are 5 star reviews given with no actual information or legitimate reasons for the 5 star review...Mentions "Oh I like the layout of the app", or "if you take 2 min to read then you'll know that you don't have to become a member, don't blame others for your mistakes, this is not a scam", which isn't based off of any relevant information and the comments made have no correlation to each other. So they are either fake or the people blindly giving a 5 star review to a scam company are just dumb af!
And if trustpilot back this company up and gives it some mark of verification then it's obvious they just accept the funds (bribes) to lie and give a fake mark to trick people into thinking it's legitimate when it's just paid for and not based off any real information. So trustpilot is a joke and just as much of a scam as onecountry.
Feel free to reply with an actual message/ response to what's in my review, one which holds some weight and isn't meaningless.

Then why won’t they return calls or emails. Still taking my money, won’t let me cancel. SCAM

First, I’ll say this is only my opinion and I could be wrong. But I am suspicious of their donation amounts. They recently wrapped up a contest where the winner got to choose a $2.5 million log cabin or $1 million cash. This contest was running for a year or maybe a little bit longer (I’m not sure of the start date, but I’m sure I was seeing ads for the cabin giveaway for at least a year. And the new contest they just started to give away $1 million cash ends in early 2025.). There are ads for the cabin giveaway were all over social media for the last year, and they had a TV ad for this contest, and on Facebook they have 5.5 million followers. I don’t know how many followers they have on their other social media pages. When you enter their contest there are different donation levels that you can choose from and I believe $25 is the lowest amount. So, last week they chose the winner for the cabin giveaway and also announced they were giving $50,000 to Folds of Honor. Does anyone else see the problem here? After a year of their ads being everywhere including on TV, and their huge following on social media, they are only able to donate $50,000? Let’s do some math. A very conservative estimate. Let’s say over the past year with all of the ads and social media followers they only got 5000 people to donate and those 5000 people all donated at the lowest level of $25. That’s $125,000. I understand it’s expensive to run ads, especially TV ads, and they probably have other costs that I’m not aware of, but it’s still suspicious to me that they are only able to give away $50,000. And this is only a conservative estimate. It’s likely that more than 5000 people donated.
By the way, I posted a similar comment on their Facebook page last week and they either deleted it or never approved it in the first place. But I’ve seen many other people post and comments asking them if it’s legit, etc. and they reply to those comments, so I don’t know why they didn’t reply to mine.

I have tried for weeks to cancel my account and all I get is crickets. I would contact the Better Business Bureau but One Country has made it damn near impossible to locate an address. Really sorry I got involved with these folks.
