We regularly order from Rendalls and have never been disappointed, always top quality, well packaged and customer service spot on.

I ordered Orkney Wangus, Stornoway Black Pudding and Creamy Peppercorn Sauce Pie 2 pack from here along with steak and haggis pies for the scotland v England match. My guests were raving about them especially the wangus ones. So much so they said its the best pie they've ever tasted. All I could here from them was. Oh my god these are amazing. Definitely will be ordering them again. Outstanding lads cheers again

Ordered a boneless pork shoulder and slow BBQ for 14 hours (stunning).
Angus Burgers are outstanding. Meaty, Juicy, full of beefy flavour.
Caramelised onion and cracked black pepper sausages were amazing, as were the pork sausages.
Baby back ribs were superb value.
Delivery was smooth. I will be ordering again.

I have ordered on 3 occasions from Rendalls online butcher and have been very pleased with the quality of the meats that I have received. The Balmoral Chicken stuffed with haggis I ate today was absolutely delicious, I can’t believe how good this tasted. I also order quite a bit of exotic meat and the quality is outstanding, especially the buffalo and kangaroo. Everything arrives on the day I want it to in perfect condition. All the meat I order in future will be coming from Rendalls, the service is top notch. Thank you ever so much.

Rendalls exceeded my expectations and put things right. I am reviewing my original review as I received a positive response from Rendalls online butchers. I feel it is only fair to give them credit for their response. I received a full refund and a replacement of the mince meat, which I asked them not to do. The quality is excellent and as expected. Congratulation to Rendalls for their constructive response.

My Scottish friend (neighbour) recommended Rendalls and I have not been disappointed. The Lorne sausage is just how I remembered and scotch pie--perfect with gravy and beans. Just how I remembered the them at a fit ball game as a lad, back in gods country 30 years ago. Thanks Rendalls.

Ordered last week, Orkney 12 oz sirloin out of this world. Must be the sea air and natural pastures. Also pies, diced lamb and diced beef great quality and value for money. Look no further for quality meat

Ordered some Orkney fillet for valentines and was so tender and soft and was such an easy cut of meat to cook!!

First time that we had ordered from Rendalls, the steaks were good, in particular the hanger steak, Lorne Sausage was stunning as were the chicken wings, burgers were pretty good too. Unfortunately the salt and pepper ribs were so salty that they were inedible, the cherry cola gammon was also overwhelmingly salty, we didn’t soak this as it was already glazed. I did email them about the ribs but didn’t get a reply. I would order from them again but probably only meat and burgers and leave the prepared stuff alone. It would also be good if they had some cooking times on some of the items like the wings and ribs.

I’ve recently ordered and had delivered my 1st order and I have to say I’m delighted. Ordering was simple and delivery excellent. There was a problem with one missing item but was rectified very quickly. I’ve only had a couple of meals as yet but meat so far is of a high quality and very very tasty. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you Rendalls

Bought my first order just before Christmas, with all the good reviews was hoping for some top quality meat, firstly the bacon was really lovely and the sausage were good but the steak pie ok, but a little disappointing, I've bought better in Tesco.
The real disappointment was the beef,
It had on the label silverside but i doubt that it was, when cooked it was very tough and full of gristle i had to cut it very thin so we could get our teeth into it,
we still have pork and ham yet to try, so will let you know.
I was sent a replacement piece of beef that was beautiful and I know mistakes are made but if I hadn't complained,I would have paid for silverside and got brisket.
That will stop me buying from you again

This was my first order and will definitely not be my last everything was very well packed with icebags it was lovely and fresh scotch pies are amazing as are the bridies looking forward to steak pie tonight mother’s pride bread was also very fresh and soft amazing value for money delivered all the way to Southampton with no problem at all I recommend you try Rendalls I’m sure you won’t be disappointed

Delighted with our Lorne sausages, black pudding and salmon steaks BUT what a disappointment with the pork sausages and sirloin steaks. The sausages had a strange solid texture and were utterly tasteless. The steaks were so tough, they were completely inedible!

I tried using Rendalls for the first time a few weeks ago after reading their good reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not very good. I ordered 10lbs of steak mince and expected that it would be high quality. Sadly the quality was poor. The mince was gristly and had a number of small hard bone-like bits in it. It was the same experience with their burgers. I will avoid online butchers in future and stick to my local farmshop.

Absolutely delicious Scotch pies, thin delicate pastry lovely meat consistency. The delivery was great and the packaging superb, with ice bags, thick foil insulated wrapping. Very reasonable price.

I would give it no stars if I could the meat was all off when I received it

I can't fault the service - it's the meat that's a huge let-down. After the first delivery that contained damaged pies & slightly disappointing steaks, I thought I'd just been unlucky.
My second order had yes, damaged pies and even more bland steaks. I shouldn't have fallen for the glossy, well-designed website but I did.
Lesson learned and time to look for another butcher.
