Just a poor customer experience really
The website is poor and misleading. Its just really dated. There systems are also similar it feels. They swapped out a product for a substitute, which was ok for me, but they never asked. I found this out when they sent an invoice with a tiny amount outstanding. Which apparently was revised prices, and I didn't owe anything, but i had to email to check this. The free delivery changed when we were building it up, from £40 to £55. Likely because of our location (nowhere exotic, just outside London). But the website says £40 for free delivery. Its just annoying, nothing feels correct.
The purchase was a gift for a Greek co-worker. If it had been a good experience, we'd be using them again as we like the products. But it wasn't, so we wont. I just want to go online, buy something and have it delivered without all the hassle

Delivery service really going downhill
Despite the food being beautiful (especially the gyros meat), I'm really disappointed with the delivery service at Ormos. I placed an order a week ago and there is still no sign of it. The website states 3-5 working days for delivery which has now passed. You get an email to tell you that your order is being processed but nothing follows that to say it has been dispatched, nor do you get any tracking information. I rang Ormos this morning to try to track down my order and the customer services representative said they would need to speak to the logistics department before calling me back. I never did get a call back and so I'm none the wiser. I tried ringing twice more to chase, the first time I went straight through to voicemail and the second time it just rang out. And still no delivery today... The food was meant to be for a meal we're hosting tomorrow night for family. Feeling very let down and that I'm going to have to find an alternative supplier for Greek food from now on that is more reliable.
Edit on 13/05/24 in response to the below comment from Ormos: I did receive the delivery eventually, but note this was after my review and not before. The above issues still stand and I felt I have been clear in outlining them. Ormos have, over the past two days, rang me three times and emailed me once in direct response to my review as this was mentioned in their email. It is disappointing that they have been reactive to this, but not last week when I was trying to get an update on my delivery. I will, however, get back to them by email to relay the above issues again in an attempt to mitigate them for others in the future.

Ordered tsourekia for family and friends for the Greek Easter. Delivered on time with a slight issue from their delivery partner. Ormos rectified the problem in zero time. Product delivered in perfect condition.

Excellent phyllo for pies.
I was looking for this type of phyllo for a while. I am pleased I found it at Ormos. It is a special type of phyllo which is thicker than the normal phyllo and ideal for Greek pies.
