I moved most of my domains to OVHcloud…

I moved most of my domains to OVHcloud over the past months and was generally satisfied - until this week.
My .io domain was set to manual renewal after the transfer. On 1 May 2026 it was renewed automatically, six days before its actual expiration date of 7 May. When I checked the panel, the renewal mode showed as "automatic"- a setting I had explicitly disabled after the transfer. There was no prior notification before the renewal, and the panel offered no option to cancel the pending renewal once I noticed it.
I raised a support ticket the same day, before the invoice was even issued, clearly stating that I did not want the domain renewed (and the domain was still almost a week before the expiration date)

The response from support — both via live chat and via the ticket from the same person was a flat refusal: refusal to cancel the renewal, refusal to issue a corrected invoice, and refusal to escalate the case. The justification given was simply that "the renewal has been processed", with no engagement with the actual facts: that my manual-renewal setting was not respected, that no notification was sent before the charge, that I raised the ticket before the invoice was issued, and that the new service period had not yet begun at the time of my complaint.
What makes this worse - the same invoice includes renewals for other domains I do want to keep - yet OVHcloud refused to provide the solution.

I moved most of my domains here in good faith. With support handling like this, I have no reason to continue using OVHcloud - unless this ticket is finally resolved properly. I'll update this review accordingly once the situation is addressed.

Kiedyś pakiety były przejrzyste tanie i skalowane. Obecnie podnieśli 3 razy cenę i zrobili ofertę mniej przejrzystą. Niektóre warianty mają taką samą cenę!!!??? Do tego wprowadzili agenta IA który wie mniej niż z głównej strony można było wyczytać. Kiedyś polecałem -dziś odradzam. MK

Jestem oszukanym klientem - SPRAWA ZAŁATWIONA POLUBOWNIE

Jestem oszukanym klientem. Skala wyłudzenia przekroczyła 300zł. Ich system miał błąd i otworzyli mi 5 usług VPS. I kazali za nie płacić. Na drugi dzień poinformowałem telefonicznie i w zgłoszeniach OVH. Ale potraktowali mnie z góry jako osobę próbującą ich oszukać a to oni mnie zrobili na nie małe pieniądze. Cała sprawa ciągnie się od ponad 6miesięcy. Omijajcie z daleka tą firmę to zwykli złodzieje.
EDIT: Sprawa załatwiona polubownie, pieniądze zostały do wykorzystania w OVH ale są.

Podziękowanie za profesjonalne wsparcie techniczne i pomoc w rozwiązaniu problemu.

Chciałbym serdecznie podziekowae za pomoc, jakiej udzielono mi w zakresie hostingu, dzialania strony oraz administracji panelem OVH.
Otrzymane wsparcie było konkretne, rzeczowe i przede wszystkim skuteczne — dzieki temu udało się sprawnie rozwiazac napotkane problemy. Doceniam rowniez zaangazowanie oraz profesjonalne podejscie do tematu mnie nurtujacego.
Dziekuje za poswiecony czas i pomoc. Zdecydowanie jest to poziom obslugi, który buduje zaufanie do uslugi.

Żenujący UX

Żenujący UX, zacinająca się strona, niedziałąjące przyciski, brak supportu, wyskakujące błędy w zamówieniu. Dawno nie korzystałem z tak słabo działającej strony. O ironio jest to firma informatyczna.
Nie polecam
Jeśli czyta to ktoś z firm, to jestem w stanie zmienić swoje zdanie o ile pokażą że rzeczywiście ta strona działą poprawnie. Póki co mam straszną awersję i odradzam.

I've been working with OVH for over 15…

I've been working with OVH for over 15 years. I have quite a few services with them, including over a dozen powerful bare metal servers. During this time, I've had the opportunity to use OVH support many times. And I've never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

A great option if you are looking for a…

A great option if you are looking for a budget solution. However, all the IPs I've tried are blocked by Hotmail/Outlook. The network setup is also a bit non-standard and requires some extra configuration.

The ECO servers in the Kimsufi range allow you to order additional IPv4 addresses, but you are stuck with only one (!) IPv6 address. This is a huge drawback in 2026 when other providers routinely offer a /64 or more.

Aside from the IPv6 issues on the new Kimsufi range, my So You Start (SYS) server has been running without problems for years.

Do czasu awarii wszystko OK, albo i nie..

Pan Błażej, po 'zakończonej' interwencji poprosił o opinię no to ją dodam...
- awaria w serwerowni, wycięta cała sekcja
- mamy wewnętrzną informację, że coś leży, zaczynamy sprawdzać
- strona statusu OVH - wszystko na zielono, czyli działa :)
- no nie działa...
- po około godzinie od wystąpienia problemów (!) komunikat na stronie, no że nie działa
- po około 5 godzinach sekcja serwerowni wstaje powoli (nie bez problemów, bo w trakcie maszyna jest restartowana / wisi, na stronie statusu pojawia się zalecenie do restartu maszyn przez klientów (!), bo niektórym to ponoć pomaga - jako ciekawostka potem ten tekst zniknął)
- wszystko prawie wróciło do normy oprócz jednego bloku adresacji /29. Żaden IP z tego jednego bloku nie działa (inne bloki działają).
- po 24 godzinach od awarii blok dalej nie działa, support nic nie jest w stanie powiedzieć bo muszą uzyskać odpowiedź z centrali (!)
- w międzyczasie dokupiliśmy jeden adres IP aby spróbować przepinać usługi
- no niestety wszystko wskazuje że ten IP też nie działa...

Ogólnie przez tyle lat co jesteśmy w OVH - jeżeli wszystko działa - super, spoko i ok :)
Jeżeli masz pecha i maszyna jest targana awariami, ogólnie musisz mieć plan awaryjny do przeniesienia się na szybko gdzieś indziej. Nigdzie nie jest różowo i OVH nie jest tutaj wyjątkiem... Jesteśmy w OVH nie wiem, z 10 lat. Zostawiliśmy jedną maszynę i ona tam dalej będzie pewnie jako 'backup', ale część wirtualek po awarii poszła już gdzieś indziej :)

Edit:

Poprawię swoję ocenę na 1. Po tygodniu (!!!) od zgłoszenia awarii IP dostałem pytania o przeprowadzenie diagnostyki. Polecam support ;)
