I would not recommend Patrick Adair…
I would not recommend Patrick Adair Designs based on my experience.
I ordered two cremation rings containing my son’s ashes and provided clear instructions on the design I wanted. The company confirmed my request prior to production.
After waiting several months, I received rings that were completely different from what was agreed upon. I reached out to customer service to resolve the issue, but they have refused to correct their mistake.
These rings were meant to honor my son, who passed away after a long battle with cancer, so the sentimental value is extremely significant. Given the nature of the order, I expected much greater care, accuracy, and accountability.
I am sharing this in the hope that the company will reconsider and make this right, and to encourage others to use caution when ordering custom or memorial pieces.
Unable or Unwilling - whats worse?
I was ordering my husband's wedding band from them. The ring didn't fit but luckily I did buy the lifetime warranty - at least that was my initial thought.
Because of the Tax war the original ring could not be made again because some materials (carbon fiber) wasn't available. The gave me a discount so I could order another ring from their side. So far no problem.
I placed the second order in november and paid for shipping with DHL. At that time I was in a regular contact with the customer service. I asked them to notify me when my order was shipped, but they didn't. After a month I contacted the customer again and I was told, that the package was already shipped with UPS.
You might think no big deal - but I had bad experience with this international shipping before, that's why I specifically asked to ship it with DHL. And turns out I was right. The package was sent back to America.
I contacted the customer service again and they suggested to make the ring again. I was happy about the solution but reminded them to send it with DHL and notify me as soon as it gets shipped.
But I didn't get a notification, so after some time I contacted them again. The third package was already sent with - you might have guessed it - UPS. Again. I was upset and contacted them. They were sorry but asked me to be patient. But after a week the tracking number was changed of the package and was sent back to America.
I explained it to the customer again. Told them, that they needed to click on the new tracking number and that there was taxes that they needed to pay to receive the ring back. But either way I asked for a refund. Spoiler - I didn't get one.
50 Mails and 4 month later my husband still hasn't gotten his wedding ring. Either the customer service doesn't understand how tracking works, even though I explained them at least 2 times, or, and that would be worse, they do not want to understand. Because after all the explanation I feel gaslighted by them as they tell me, that in the original tracking number there is a "transit"status marked - but at the top of the page there is a clear alert box with the important information, that the package got a new tracking number.
My advice would be to not buy from them. The customer service isn't able to send with the requested shipping service and they are unable or unwilling to track their chosen delivery method

I had two orders from October one took until mid November to arrive and the other January. These glow stone rings don’t glow at all. The pictures you send all over social media are false advertising. The only way we’ve ever gotten them to glow the slightest was when we put them under a uv flashlight and even then it’s seconds and barely at all. You should be ashamed that your images are so misleading. No where in your website does it indicate how poorly they glow.
Beyond disappointing
Beyond disappointing. The picture looked like obsidian glass, the real thing looks like cheap plastic and wasn't even the correct size. The kicker is they sent me a free complementary ring that WAS actually in the right size.
Do not order from this company.
2 months no ring, no update.
Zero stars would be too high of a rating....
What a horrible experience, "customer service" unexistent, dont expect a true reply and IF they do dont expect much....
-Ring size given Feb 4th- no reply, no update on order page.
-I reached out again Feb 6th looking for update, reply only confirmed ring band width...
*silence for weeks*
-I reached out for update on Feb 22... no reply
-I reached out AGAIN Feb 26... NOTHING
-finally sombody decided to work.... reply on March 3rd.... ASKING FOR MY RING SIZE I GAVE A DAMN MONTH AGO....
I voice my discontent at this point and receive no reply, I send 2 more emails... 4/4 and 4/8.... they finally decided to answer on Mar 11....
"Thanks for letting us know your ring size! I’ll move your order into our production queue. Please let me know if you have any questions."
YEAH RIGHT BULLSH*T
voice my frustration AGAIN, they do not care a damn. Worst "cutomer service" in my life. Positive reviews must be fake.
Still waiting for my order near 2 months later....
I haven't received my order in 3 months.
I ordered a ring and a pendant in December.
Both pieces were to contain my mother's ashes. It is the end of March and I haven't received my order. I requested my money back and they are ignoring my request and saying it will be two more weeks. I have opened a dispute for this charge with my bank.
Absolute JOKE and SCAM of a company
As almost every other recent person to leave a review has stated, this is an absolute disgraceful joke of a company. I was planning to propose to my partner on a special trip that we are leaving for on 3/12/26. I ordered my rings back on 11/14/26. They said it would be 8 weeks. It has now been 18. I tried very politely to get some updates or transparency on my order multiple times. Their nonexistent customer service is absolutely useless. They promise you'll get a response in 48-72 hours, but half the time never get one at all. When you do, it's well beyond 72 hours and all they do is run you around in circles. I'm legitimately on the verge of filing a lawsuit against this company. Not only have they ruined my proposal plans, but there has been utterly no transparency about what is going on with my order, or any sort of foreseeable update on when I might even be able to expect my rings. Steer FAR away from this embarrassment of a company.
We purchased two wedding rings and…
We purchased two wedding rings and loved them! But, they were both a little too big. Patrick Adair's people took excellent care of us. They sent a sizer to be sure we had that correct. We sent the info and the rings to them and waited. They just came back and fit perfectly. We could not be happier with the product and service.
SCAM - DO NOT BUY
Company unquestionably a scam.
Regardless of what they may say in contrast or response, this company is provably and factually a scam.
You are welcome to check their videos and images for AI using an AI check such as ZeroGPT. They will come up as 95% or higher AI. Until the 20th, they lied to consumers stating that their products were handcrafted in the USA. I have screenshots of this with metadata showing the date. They recently removed the statement in order to avoid liability and the legal consequences of their FTC violations.
They are in violation of:
FTC Act (15 U.S.C. § 45).
FTC Jewelry Guides (16 C.F.R. § 23).
FTC’s "Made in USA" Policy.
State UDAP Laws.
The ring that I received was an absolute piece of garbage. Even after charge, it fails to glow. The inlays they promised were almost non-existent. It was utterly barren and I would not dare embarrass myself by giving this to my fiance. When attempting to address this with them, I was met with denial and refusal to refund due to the ring being "custom". It being custom cannot be a casual way out for them to avoid refunds when they did not provide the promised product.
Comparing it to images of any other ring on their site (which again, they chose to make using AI) proves that they did not give anything even remotely resembling the promised product. The ring that I had chosen allowed three inlays. There are several small pieces of one inlay, with only one small piece of the other two inlays. A friend who is a metallurgist and part-time ring maker calculated that the inlays cover 35% of the available space within the ring. This is not what I paid for and this is not what I was promised.
After a brief investigation, I was easily able to determine through contacting their shipping company and through investigation of the company over the past year that day have fired the majority of their US-based team, outsourced the creation of the rings to some mass production shop in China with zero quality control, and rebuilt the rest of their business lies.
I am in contact with the FTC now reporting them and hoping they are brought to justice.
Through willful violations of FTC laws, US State and federal laws, dishonest and manipulative business practices, and embarrassingly poor quality of work, I urge everyone DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
The pictures online just don't do the…
The pictures online just don't do the rings justice. They are handmade and precious. They work well for women and men. They are just breathtaking, an excellent value that's worth the wait. And they shipped to Alaska with no fuss and do their best to support their customers.
Dim "glow" and slow customer service, 9 week lead-time
Our cremation glow rings went into production on December 22, 2025. We just got the rings today, 2/26/26. That is over 9 weeks! Customer service was great at first, while they were waiting on us to send them the remains, but after our rings went into production on December 22, it was terrible. They quote a 48-72 hour wait time for email responses. I sent an email in mid-January wondering what was going on. 73 hours later I hadn't gotten a response, so I sent another email. Then I got on FaceBook because they do not advertise a phone number nor do they have Chat available on their website. The person on FB kept sending me the link to a page explaining their shipping time. On that page it states glow rings take 2-4 weeks. We were way past that. So the person on FB sent me the link again, I guess assuming I'm an idiot. Patrick Adair should change their shipment info page to reflect actual ship times, but they know if they're honest, people won't order their rings. You can go to Etsy and get the same product in 3 weeks. Anyway, the person on FB told me that since I didn't wait for an email response, my email got sent back to the end of the line, even though I had waited the 72 hour time frame given. Mind you, I had waited 73 hours before I sent another. I finally get a response on January 23, stating that our rings should be done within the week and should be shipped out the following week. 2 weeks go by, it's February now, no rings. So I email them again, this time threatening to cancel the order or file a dispute with our cc company. That got me a response that said there had been "unforeseen issues" during production and the rings would be escalated in production. So 7 weeks in and NOW you'll escalate production? I never did get an answer as to what the "unforeseen issues" with our rings were but we suspect they left out the remains or something else big like that, but who knows? I don't, because they wouldn't answer the question. I sent yet another email, this time saying either you give me a ship date or we're calling our credit card company because at this point we were pretty sure this was a scam and we would never get our rings. Over 72 hours hours later we finally got tracking information. Over 9 weeks after our rings went into production we finally have them. They're pretty, but not worth what we went through to get them. Save yourself time and frustration and go to Etsy and search Glow Rings. You're better off there FOR SURE. We will never order from Patrick Adair again.
**Edit: I removed a star because we are not happy with the product. These rings only glow for about 12 seconds after them sitting under UV light for 5 mins. I emailed the company and after 4 days have not heard back.
$200 to fix their error?? Really???
I have purchased Patrickadairdesigns 3 times now. The first time was for my engagement rings, each ring size 11.5”. We then later purchased our wedding rings again 11.5” unfortunately my gem ring broke due to my pups claw putting a gouge in it. The ring was a little snugger than I would have liked so this 3rd time around I upgraded my ring to a 12” and just in case a replacement for my husband 11.5” on a buy one get one offer.
I received my new rings on 2/6/2026 and tried on my ring 12” which felt/feels like a better fit for me but when I had my husband try on the new 11.5 he (already has the same exact ring 11.5 ORDER #60105) he could not get it on his finger.
I reached out to Patrickadairdesigns only to be met with...
Hi Jason,
Thank you for reaching out and providing those details.
I checked the order #122674 and both Black Fire Opal Ring were made in sizes 12 and 11.5.
If the 11.5 needs to be resized, we'll have to charge $200 as resizing fee. Let us know if you'd like to proceed.
Lanz from Patrick Adair Designs
I was very clear in my email to them that the 11.5 ring they sent me was not 11.5 at all and from the previous order(s) I can confirm it’s not the finger as my husband is still wearing his original 11.5 ring.
So I’m being told I need to pay $200 for their mistake. Looks like the company has gotten big and has forgotten about customer service and how to conduct proper business.
The rings looked awesome
The rings looked awesome! It took about 2 weeks to get 2 rings, not too bad considering its handmade according to them!
Looks nothing like pictures
Looks nothing like pictures. Looks like cheap dollar store jewelry at best, returned and had to pay return shipping took a month to get a refund.
Patrick adire is just a scam
Patrick adire is just a scam. It doesn't look anything close to what they advertised on their website.
It doesn't glow at all at night.
Buyer beware
Buyer beware, I ordered the Solar Eclipse Glowstone Ring | Tungsten and Meteorite and regrettably paid $334 when all was said and done. While the order was simple enough, their sizing process smooth (at least for me), and communication acceptable, it was the actual ring that fell tragically low on the satisfaction chart. What is depicted on their online advertisement is a far cry from what I received. The only thing “meteoric” about the ring is the disappointment I felt after having received it. I now wear it to remind myself to be more mindful when making meaningful purchases. Any time someone asks me about the ring, which has been likened to a mood ring, I take the opportunity to proclaim, buyer beware of Patrick Adair Designs!
Great Ring
2026 purchase review: I was skeptical with purchasing rings from PAD. But despite the bad reviews, I still wanted to buy the rings despite the bad reviews, as there were also good reviews, so I took a chance. Without a shadow of doubt, I do not regret buying these rings. I bought a simple customized ring. After the purchase, responses to my inquires were quickly addressed. Not only were they addressed, I got the ring pretty fast as well. Rings looks simple and amazing. I regret buying a simple ring, but I will buy another with a little more options. But still, I love this ring. It looks good and the lasts for a little over 10 min (but must charge with UV flashlight first). Please check out the pics for yourself, you will not be disappointed. Most importantly, do not listen to the fake negative reviews. PAD is a legit and trustworthy company with amazing products. (this is copy paste from review I made from the PAD website. For pictures, please go onto the website).
If you buy from PADesigns, expect a long disappointment
I'm writing this here because PAD is notorious for deleting negative Facebook comments that call out how this jeweler doesn't provide the products it sells.
I ordered a pendant and mystery ring on a promotion back on September 3rd. It is now February 2nd and I still don't have my order. 1) I was the one who always reached out in email to ask about my order. I never got any status updates about my order being in production and was only given a vague "material issues" excuse as to why my order was delayed the first time I inquired about my order. 2) the second time I reached out which was Jan 28, I was told my order was PARTIALLY fulfilled with the same vague excuse. 21 weeks and my order is PARTIALLY fulfilled. I didn't even have a customer order, just a pendant as is, and a mystery ring they got to choose. 3) after doing more research, I found threads of unhappy customers who mentioned delays and bad quality of their products, firing of ring artisans last year, deleting negative FB comments or reviews, listing a building address with an empty building that a local went to physically, and claims from an actual worker that since the artisan firings, the company started outsourcing their product outside the US (but the company page still claims to be US production based).
This is disappointing because they started as a legit company that I followed for 8 years and when I finally am able to buy a ring, their lack of quality and care for their customers is appalling. I will be discussing a chargeback from my bank and will get my money back.
This company is actually aweful
This company is actually aweful
I placed an order no response for weeks from them I needed a change no response when I finally get ahold of them their policy is magiclly only 48 hour returns do no associate or try buying anything from them. This company is horrible
