DO NOT BUT FROM THEM. they're nothing but cheaters and swindlers. They sell fake wood products. If you guys have anything in laminate finish pour a little water over it and see the sticker peel off. These guys have delivered fake products with the claim that it's engineered wood and this and that. Their service is the worst. You'll save yourself from headaches and you will end up saving your money.

Defective Product and Horrible Customer Service

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Pepperfry after purchasing a 'Claire Sheesham Wood Writing Table in Scratch Resistant Honey Oak Finish'. My experience with both the product quality and customer service has been nothing short of appalling.
The product was delivered on 17th August 2024, and from the start, I noticed several issues:
1. **Absence of Acrylic Scratch-Resistant Coating**: The product description clearly mentioned an acrylic scratch-resistant finish, but this was entirely absent. The surface is rough, and this was the first defect I reported.
2. **Uneven Tabletop**: There are visible depressions on the tabletop, making it uneven and poorly finished.
3. **Mismatched Drawer Finishes**: One of the drawers has a completely different finish from the rest of the table, giving it a mismatched and inconsistent look.
4. **White Patches on the Surface**: The table has several white patches and an overall substandard finish.
After raising a complaint, a carpenter was sent to inspect the table, and he confirmed the defects, even recording a video that showed the absence of the acrylic coating and the other problems. I was initially told that a replacement would be processed, but what followed was a complete breakdown of customer service.
Over the next two weeks, I received numerous calls about delays due to issues with the merchant, only to later be informed that my replacement request had been *canceled without any explanation*. When I asked for a reason, the customer support representative was dismissive and stated that my request had been rejected with no further recourse.
The situation escalated when a customer service agent accused me of fabricating the issue about the missing acrylic coating—something I had raised from my very first complaint! This accusation was not only false but also highly offensive. The agent was rude, condescending, and unprofessional, ending the call without resolving any of the issues I faced.
I expected a reputable brand like Pepperfry to take responsibility for the defective product and to provide a prompt solution. Instead, I’ve encountered poor product quality, delays, dismissiveness, and an utterly unhelpful customer service experience.
I strongly advise against purchasing from Pepperfry. If you value quality and expect even a basic level of customer service, it would be wise to look elsewhere. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and I am still waiting for a satisfactory resolution to this issue.

I would not recommend anyone to order…

I would not recommend anyone to order from pepperfry.
All their products are outsourced and they have no control on quality.
They delivered me broken table and are insisting they will take it back and credit wallet account where I will be forced to rebuy from them or to their stores upi account where their manager is on 2 weeks leave n I will waste my time chasing for the refund.after wasting 20 days paying 100 percent advance this is hoe they treat you n saying we deliberately not done. I am sitting with their broken table n 100 percent amount prepaid.

it's an awful experience. Please never buy anything from this company, their return policy sucks. I am stuck with some article which didn't loo at all like it was advertised and they didn't return or exchange. Worst experience

I had the worst experience with Pepperfry. I purchased a wardrobe for my parents, but the product we received was nothing like what was advertised on their website. The wood is of extremely poor quality, and the delivery was handled carelessly, as if they were dumping garbage in our home. Even the carpenter's assembly felt fragile, as if it could break at any moment.

When I attempted to initiate a return, it became a frustrating and time-consuming ordeal. Their service is terrible, and you have to fight just to get someone to address your concerns.

I would never recommend Pepperfry to anyone. You’re better off hiring a local carpenter, even if it costs more—it will save you the frustration, anger, and wasted time.

Hello,

I had ordered this cabinet from Pepperfry, 2 months into usage all the side doors have started falling apart. Cupboards have fallen below, such crappy furniture at such a premium price. Instead of giving a refund you have sent a carpenter to fix it who has not guaranteed that this will be a permanent fix.

Extremely disappointed with the fix. Please take this back and issue a refund.

Disappointed badly! Worst experience with pepperfry.com they don't deliver on-time and then deliver damaged items and at last no proper return arrangements and refunds. very poor customer service, really hated buying from Perpperfry.com.

The quality of the bed frame that I…

The quality of the bed frame that I ordered was good but the drawers that came along with it did not align with the bed frame. When we asked to return or repair as well, they denied to do that. In fact we ordered the bed after looking it in showroom and they still denied by saying that the bed is at it is suppose to. Drawers were misalign, no wheels, no channel. In fact drawers can go inside more then the edge of bed frame. Anyway long story short, their customer service is very poor so please buy it from anywhere else.

Worst Brand to shop furniture from
I bought an office chair 2 months Ago , whose shockers are damaged and not working properly . On filing the complaint first they said it would be replaced 100% but later they are not agreeing to replace the product. On talking to the customer support they are now saying that the replacement is not applicable and neither they are providing any support for repair. Worst decesion to shop any kind of furniture the support agents are so rude and aren’t ready to listen anything or any kind of complaint
These people just keep the customers in dark and promise everything fake just to grab the customer
This company is a trap . Please do not buy anything from them to save your money
It’s better to switch to local vendors atleast they listen to complaint and resolve it unlike this fake brand

Worst brand amongst all other furniture brands. Lack of customer support, pathetic delivery agents, utter stupid carpenters. This was the first and last order with you ***, for simple asking for a return on something that's incorrect to bring told there is no policy as such. Shopping with y'all has been nothing but hell and i can guarantee you my business with you guys is permanently done. So screw y'all.

No way to track your products

No way to track your products. They have a button on the site that says, "Track your product" but it just gives you order information. You keep getting SMS that your product is getting delayed but you can't actually track where it is or why it is getting delayed. and the customer service is good for just apologizing. I don't want to blame customer service for this. Whoever is running the show has to be held accountable
