Seit der Einführung von Personio habe ich das Tool mittlerweile bei vier unterschiedlichen Arbeitgebern implementiert und kenne daher die Unterschiede im Customer- und Sales-Support sehr gut.

Leider ist der aktuelle Prozess rund um eine Vertragsverlängerung äußerst unzufriedenstellend verlaufen.
Der Erstkontakt erfolgte über einen KI‑Bot, mit dem man sich mehrfach im Kreis bewegt. Es wurde ein Ticket erstellt, das unbeantwortet blieb. Nach erneutem Kontakt mit dem Bot wurde ein weiteres Ticket eröffnet, ebenfalls ohne Reaktion. Erst später kam ein Kontakt zum Sales Support zustande.
Nach erneuter Klärung worum es geht, wurde schließlich ein Vertrag zur Unterzeichnung via DocuSign übermittelt – allerdings mit einem vollständig falschen Firmennamen. Seit über einer Woche warte ich nun auf eine Korrektur und eine erneute Zusendung des Vertrags, ohne Rückmeldung.

Besonders enttäuschend ist die Diskrepanz zwischen der vom KI‑Bot kommunizierten Bearbeitungszeit von 2–3 Tagen und der tatsächlichen Dauer von mittlerweile über drei Wochen ohne Abschluss oder transparente Kommunikation. Insgesamt ein sehr frustrierender Prozess, der nicht dem Qualitätsanspruch entspricht, den ich aus früheren Jahren und Implementierungen von Personio kenne.

Katastrophaler Support, schlechte Beratung

We’ve had a really positive experience using Personio. The platform is intuitive, easy to navigate, and makes everyday HR tasks like managing absences, documents, and employee information much simpler.

What really stands out is the support. Our account manager, Luis, has been extremely responsive and helpful whenever we’ve needed assistance. He’s always quick to reply, understands our needs, and does his best to find solutions when questions come up.

Overall, a very solid HR platform backed by a supportive team. Would definitely recommend it.

I’ve had a great experience with Personio so far. Our assigned Account Manager is exceptional. He keeps us consistently updated on platform changes and new releases, and he's incredibly quick to answer any specific questions we have.

Also, when using the standard support tickets path, the response time is impressive, usually under 24 hours.

What I like most:
- Intuitive UI: The frontend is modern, and very easy to navigate.
- Customization: The ability to create custom attributes and assign permissions based on roles, workplaces, or other specific criteria is a game-changer for our workflow.
- Constant Innovation: The recent feature developments have made our daily tasks much smoother.

We are very satisfied with Personio and with the overall experience since we started working with them in 2023. They stand out for their agility, both in day‑to‑day management and in solving any issues that may arise. Even when problems occur —which is normal for any platform that is constantly evolving— our main point of contact Fabio is always attentive, responds quickly, and does everything possible to help us find a solution or a temporary workaround.

Additionally, whenever we need a specific feature or have a more complex request, they usually escalate it to the product team so it can be evaluated for development. This gives us the sense that they truly listen to customers and are genuinely committed to continuously improving the tool.

In summary: a responsive, supportive team with a strong willingness to find solutions and evolve the product.

Utilizzo Personio da luglio 2025 per la gestione HR di 4 società del gruppo (Italia e Spagna) con circa 116 collaboratori tra dipendenti, P.IVA, co.co.co e stagisti. La scelta di Personio è stata premiante soprattutto per un motivo che per noi era dirimente: la personalizzazione. Rispetto ad altri player sul mercato che propongono soluzioni rigide e difficilmente adattabili, Personio ci ha permesso di costruire processi diversi per realtà diverse, rispettando le specificità di ciascuna società.

Un aggiornamento recente che ha fatto davvero la differenza è la gestione dei salari con 13esima e 14esima: finalmente è possibile configurare i compensi lordi al centesimo per tutti i dipendenti italiani, eliminando gli aggiustamenti manuali che prima erano inevitabili.

Molto apprezzata anche l'automazione dei processi di onboarding e offboarding: poter orchestrare task, documenti e accessi in modo strutturato per ogni nuovo ingresso o uscita è un cambio di passo concreto nella gestione quotidiana delle risorse umane.

Si vede che il prodotto è pensato con cura, e il team ha fatto sforzi concreti per adattarsi alla normativa italiana, cosa non scontata per una realtà di origine tedesca. Margini di miglioramento esistono ancora su alcune aree specifiche — ticket restaurant, rimborsi spese e gestione trasferte/diarie richiedono ancora interventi manuali — ma la direzione è chiaramente quella giusta.

Nel complesso, una piattaforma consigliata a chi gestisce realtà multi-entità con esigenze eterogenee e vuole un HRIS che si adatti al business, non il contrario.

Trabajar con Personio durante mi etapa en Clicars ha sido, sin duda, una de las mejores decisiones que tomamos en RRHH. No solo por la robustez del software —que es estable, intuitivo, escalable y resuelve de verdad las necesidades del día a día— sino por algo incluso más importante: la calidad humana de las personas que hay detrás.

I work at Personio as an Account Manager for Southern Europe and have seen firsthand how effective the product is for clients. It genuinely helps companies optimize their HR processes and save time. The company culture is collaborative and customer-focused, and it’s rewarding to work with a product that delivers real value.

Man merkt das die Chef´s noch nicht lange im Berufsleben unterwegs sind. Alles verkaufen, nichts funktioniert, Support schlimmer als bei Vodafone!!!!!! Wer kann sollte seine Finger von Personio lassen! Lasst euch nicht blenden von digitalen Unterschriften und Analysen, alles nur Augenwischerrei!! HR hat danach das 3 fache an Arbeit!

Anfangs ein gutes Produkt. Mit jedem Update wird es jedoch weniger benutzerfreundlich und immer wieder werden Funktionen ausgegliedert, die dann separat bezahlt werden müssen. Meiner Meinung nach hat sich Personio bewusst dafür entschieden, das Enterprise-Segment zu priorisieren und kleinere Unternehmen zu vernachlässigen.

Der Support ist katastrophal. Beim letzten Kontakt hat es fast zwei Wochen (!) gedauert, bis ich überhaupt eine erste (!) Rückmeldung erhalten habe.

Ab dem Zeitpunkt der Vertragsunterschrift änderte sich der bisher super Kontakt mit dem Vertriebler schlagartig: Der zuständige Mitarbeiter war nicht mehr im Unternehmen, und seitdem fühlten wir uns komplett allein gelassen. Auf Anrufe oder E-Mails reagiert zunächst niemand, und auch später kamen Antworten nur alle zwei bis drei Tage – wenn überhaupt. Eine telefonische Erreichbarkeit existiert faktisch nicht.

Uns wurde zwar ein Ansprechpartner für die Implementierung zugeteilt, jedoch warten wir nach zwei Monaten immer noch auf eine funktionierende DATEV-Schnittstelle. Unsere internen Abrechnungs- und Provisionsmodelle kann das System ebenfalls nicht abbilden, obwohl dies im Vorfeld anders dargestellt wurde.

Das bereitgestellte Einrichtungsportal ist für Anwender in der Praxis kaum hilfreich: Es wirkt überfrachtet mit rund 100 Funktionen, von denen realistisch maximal 1 % im Alltag benötigt werden. Eine klare, einfache und praxisnahe Umsetzung fehlt komplett.

Ich bin maßlos enttäuscht über die mangelhafte Kommunikation und die fehlende Unterstützung nach Vertragsabschluss. Von einem Unternehmen dieser Größe hätte ich deutlich mehr Professionalität erwartet.
Aus heutiger Sicht würde ich jedem dringend davon abraten, einen Vertrag abzuschließen.

Ich arbeite seit Sommer als Anwender, da ist Personio gut, und seit Herbst als PL mit Personio. In dieser Funktion finde ich es furchtbar. Nichts ist intuitiv, Support gibt es nicht, die KI oder FAQ helfen nicht. Fazit: schlecht!

Personio has obtained my personal telephone number through web scraping and has been cold-calling me about their HR software. I don't work in HR, and my personal mobile is not a work line—nor is it listed on any professional profile online.
After receiving previous calls, I was assured my details would be removed from their contact list. I have since received another call.
I can't comment on their products or services, but their cold-calling practices and apparent disregard for basic GDPR compliance leave a lot to be desired.

Ein Tool, das niemand braucht. Wenn man nicht komplett (und von weit oben) auf den Kopf gefallen ist, macht man das, was diese Firma macht, selbst.
Ausserdem aggressive Direct Sales Versuche bei Profis, die ein hip aussehendes, aber sehr dürftiges Tool wie dieses sicher nicht verwenden würden.

Personio is an absolute staple piece in our daily work and it has come so far.
We were very early customers and what it can do now is quite impressive. We are not even using it´s full potential, but are trying to do so more and more. Sometimes Personio improves so fast, we cannot even improve the processes alongside with it. I think when you come in now freshly, you´ll be able to set up everything the most efficient way, without old structure in the way, that was set up multiple years ago.
Personio takes manual work off our hands but still I do not feel like i lose control over the processes. I do not want to miss it.
