Nadat ik een Pocketbook reader had gekocht bij de firma Tradeinn, toen hij was afgeleverd werkte hij voor geen meter. Ik heb wel 15 mails gestuurd naar de verkoper dat ik hem wou retourneren, was de enigste reactie neem contact op met PocketBook en voor de rest lieten ze me barsten. Ik nam contact op met PocketBook en van het eerste antwoord van hun ben ik uitstekend geholpen. De reader moest opgestuurd worden. Ik kreeg een verzendlabel en UPS kwam hem ophalen. Toen hij daar was aangekomen kreeg ik een mailtje. Een paar dagen later was hij klaar en werd hij opgestuurd via UPS. Nadat hij was uitgepakt werkt hij naar behoren. Ik geef PocketBook een grote pluim en vind het grote KLASSE!!!!!

Pocketbook ⭐ Ich komme pocketbook zurecht der Kundenservice sehr nett.Vor einiger Zeit hatte die Technischen Wartung was Mal vorkommen kann funktioniert alles.Pocketbook Reader einfach Klasse und die App auch aktuell, bin zufrieden.👍

How the hell do I download e-books!

I am so sorry I bought this piece of crap! There are no instructions about how to download books --except "download to muffiemae (at) pbsync.com." I have no idea how to create this email address!

Big waste of money down the drain!

Wat een slechte kwaliteit E-reader! Het merk ziet er super mooi uit en is dun en licht. Echter is het een erg kwetsbare E-reader!

Voor 2x toe zitten ik binnen de garantie periode met een kapotte E-reader! De eerste gaf al problemen op vakantie ivm de warmte en een half jaar na terugkomst was de accu opgeblazen. Hier heb ik binnen de garantie van Coolblue een nieuwe toen voor terug gekregen.

De 2e echter is pas door onbekende reden het scherm op grijs gegaan. Zonder val of krasschade functioneerde het scherm niet meer. Echter valt dit volgens de fabrikant buiten de garantie omdat dit gezien wordt als 'aantoonbare gebruikersschade'. Dus met andere woorden, ik heb pech..

Ik raad deze E-reader dan ook absoluut niet aan!

Due anni fa mi arriva, finalmente, l'inkpad 3, il 740. Mai avuto un e-reader più bello: leggero, uno schermo strepitoso, un anti riflesso unico che rende la lettura veramente come su carta ed un'illuminazione omogenea, mai troppo forte e con toni delicati. Leggo qualche libro e sono contento ma poi comincia a bloccarsi e resettarsi e fare diavolerie degne di un film horror. Poi per fortuna arriva l'aggiornamento. E non cambia niente! Ma ne arriva un altro e finalmente.....
....peggiora! La batteria non sa più cosa fare, arriva a 70% e comincia a scendere a picco, in due minuti è a cinquanta e dice che è completamente scarico. Comincia a passare più tempo in carica che in lettura, poi mi decido e compro una pocket bank, per leggere qualche ora di seguito. Non è colpa loro, consigliano l'assistenza che è...
...in Russia! una batteria? uno schermo? una scheda? Settimane per spedire, riparare, ricevere. E tutti i miei libri dove li leggo? E i prezzi esposti fanno passare la voglia: con gli stessi soldi si comprano tutti i lettori (anche se 6 pollici) delle altre marche. Passa qualche settimana e la batteria si gonfia come un pallone e tutto smette di funzionare. Decido per un Kobo Libra: non è così bello, non si legge così bene ma funziona sempre. Il mio amore per il 740 non passa. Trovo una batteria su un sito cinese a 17 euro e decido di comprarla e cambiarla. L'operazione è delicata ma fattibile e, con l'ultimo aggiornamento, tutto funziona a dovere fino a che, un bel giorno, non mi rimane in mano, assieme al cavetto, anche la presa USB. Mi trovo ancora a piedi e per fortuna ho l'altro reader. Cerco un modo per farlo funzionare ancora e, dopo una saldatura disastrosa (ho scoperto che saldare è al di sopra delle mie possibilità) è veramente K.O.. Ma l'amore è amore: cerco su tutti i siti una scheda usata per sostituirla per mesi e finalmente la trovo. E' di un 740 pro ma vedo che tutti gli attacchi sono uguali ed ora funziona tutto (speriamo che duri) ed è una pro a tutti gli effetti. La cover dietro, dopo 2000 stacca e attacca per le mie prove, non tiene più e l'ho messa col nastro isolante nero. Questo è veramente amore! Ma voi siete disposti a fare tutto questo?

Jeg har haft en Pocketbook i nogle år og den har fungeret fint. Nu har Pocketbook lukket ned for den tilknyttede danske boghandel, så der kun kan købes norske bøger via enheden. Det er ikke god kundeservice

I am deeply frustrated with the customer service of this brand. They wave their guarantees without any explaination and their distributors are rude and impossible to communicate with. Not only will I not buy anything from them ever again, but all the recommendations I will serve them will be bad from now on. This was money and time out the window, for an item I needed for work. The device formatted itself twice, losing all my work content, and afterward, the matrix mysteriously stopped working. When I gave it back for repairs, the distributors waved my guarantee, blamed me I broke it myself and called me a liar in my face. Not only have I lost an amount of money for only a few months of not so pleasurable use, but I was caused so much stress during the whole guarantee process. The most atrocious customer service I have ever seen. The whole experience was insulting, frustrating and quite frankly - disgusting. Please revert from selling these pieces of junk, and stop working with people - you are an utter waste of time and money !!!

Warning against the producer of “Pocketbook” e-book readers:
Our family recently bought 2 Pocketbook Inkpad3 readers which had received good reviews. They looked fine, but one of them had a broken screen after use for about one hour and stopped working. The other one is so far OK. They were only used with the original stiff protection cover.
The Customer service at Pocketbook responded to my complaint and told me the screen was rather fragile against bending and kept on postulating that I must have destroyed it by bending e.g. when stored in a rucksack (in my view it is almost impossible to bend it when in the protective cover). They completely refused to take any consideration and responsibility that the error could origin on their side, and only suggested I could pay for repair. But they were unwilling to estimate a price.
After some mails with arguments without answering my questions they simply stopped communicting
So my advice:
Do never consider buying a Pocketbook e-reader - it can easily be money out of the window. The Customer Servide is below any measure I have experienced so far.
