Quick response from the rental agent. However, when I inquired about more information regarding the rental property it was difficult to get an answer.
I did follow through with the property I wished to rent. Hoping it’s as beautiful as it appears online.

Working with Linda has been my greatest experience of all the travel agents I have spoken/worked with over the years. Not only is she amazingly prompt with her responses to my many questions she goes beyond. My wife has a health issue and I could not get any info on available treatment in Palermo. I wrote this to Linda and she tracked down the medical clinic, spoke with the people and set me up with them, if I have a need while we are in Palermo. She is an amazing women and I am blessed tio have dealt with her. Do not lose this women, she ius an incredible asset to your company.

We won't be returning to villa Vrisses, Crete.
We wanted a 'pets-free' villa due to various allergies. Villa Vrisses is advertised by Posarelli Villas as such but is overrun with the owner's/manager's 4-5 cats! We stayed here from 1st-12th October 2024. The villa itself is reasonably nice, although it's near a sometimes busy road. And the level of equipment in the villa (crockery, pans, cutlery, kitchen tools, etc) was somewhat disappointing. Plus it was very difficult to read indoors or outdoors due to insufficient lighting - ditto problems with eating in virtual darkness outside after sunset. BUT THE CATS were the BIG PROBLEM. We reported this problem twice to our 'property manager' but the cats were not removed until about half
way through our holiday- and even then not completely. We were unable to leave the door open without cats going inside. Also, cats were constantly trying to jump onto our outside tables and chairs. And in the first couple of days of our stay we saw the cats playing with and chewing on two dead rats lying on our lawn quite close to our patio. The cats thus presented a possible health problem as well as allergy problems. To end on a positive note the villa had good mountain views and enjoyed the services of two friendly and efficient cleaning ladies who visited every 3 days to keep the place ship-shape.

We are sorry to hear about your experience, but Posarelli Villas can't be held responsable for anything in this review.
Its not allowed to bring pets to Villa Vrisses because the owner don't want pets in the house. So the cats mentioned in the review come from somewhere else. Neither Posarelli Villas or the owner can control all the cats in the area. The owner owns no cats just to be clear, but this is a house in the countryside of Crete!
Posarelli Villas was never contacted by you about any problems during your stay. If we knew, we would have investigated the compalint and could have moved you to another house. We have many houses in Crete and in October there is a lot of avalibility, so for us this would have been no problem at all. This is why people choose to rent with Posarelli Villas. To have a 2 star review about a service we didn't had a chance to provide and cats from the neighbourhood seems therefore a bit strange. If you had contacted us and given us a chance to fix things I'm sure you had been more than satisfied.
I have personally stayed in this house several times and have never seen a cat during my stays.

We are sorry that the property did not meet your expectation. Nothing was mentioned during your stay and obviously we (as well as the owner) could not help you.
Upon our investigation into the pool issue, the problem was due to a filter which made the pool look green. However, it was safe to be used according to the parameters daily checked and registered.
