I've been with Prospero for a while now. I find them really helpful and they cater ro my needs. The staff there are really friendly and helpful and will keep im touch during the school hoildays.

I dealt with Matt and Chanai. They both have a wealth of knowledge surrounding all things education and have been very supportive, informative with a kind and person centred approach throughout my journey with them so far. Navigating a career change is very overwhelming at times but with their support its felt a lot easier and far more exciting than stressful. I am very thankful and super excited to start my next steps and can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done.

Absolutely appalling to deal with. They bombarded me with emails day after day for work. I was in the process of leaving the job I was in at the time and gambled, leaving the job believing this company would deliver on their promise in securing me work. Six weeks in and I haven't had a single job. They contact me once a week to say they need something else for 'compliance'. I'm starting to think they are actually taking the micky out of me. Very, very, very poor company, horrendous communication.

Found a great placement but the agency tried to underpay me, upon complaining, they didn't place me again!

Totally unprofessional with a biased complaint system, stay away if you can?

They promise the earth and then deliver absolutely nothing! In the crunch period of me trying to secure a job I got sent so many wildcards (aka schools that didn’t match my preferences) that all I could do was keep reminding them of the clock. The fact is it’s all very cloak and dagger. One so called “bad” reference from a spiteful ex employer and my recruiter did a complete 360. They pull you in and spit you out. The company wants to seem like it really has the best candidates to offer and that comes at the expense of its humanity. Thank you for wasting my time! Is there a recruitment crisis in New Zealand or not? Well Prospero you well and truly put me off.

I have had a very positive experience working as a supply teacher and Learning support assistant with Prospero Teaching. I have been offered regular work, which has allowed me to gain valuable experience in a variety of school settings. Zoe Gluckstein has been excellent to work with—she is approachable, supportive, and communicates clearly, making the whole process straightforward and enjoyable. She always works hard to find suitable placements. I would happily recommend Prospero Teaching to other supply teachers and learning support Assistant.

Southampton Branch - Dont waste your time. Full of people who want as fst as a margin for themselves and dont care about you. Had a couple of days work . Theyll lowball you and expect you to travel miles. Other agencies are far better.

I have had a positive experience working with Prospero Teaching. Gabriela has been professional, supportive, and responsive throughout my time with the agency.

Communication has always been clear, and I have felt valued as a tutor. She takes the time to understand both the needs of learners and the strengths of tutors, helping to create placements where meaningful progress can be made. Waste of time and patience, I applied to be an exam invigilator and did everything required, all the training and paid for the DBS etc. Throughout this their agents replied to me immediately..

The second I was supposed to be cleared for work they became utterly incompetent and suddenly needed other information from me. When I would send such info I'd get no reply back compared to when I was first completing their requirements. They said they couldn't reach out to my references (they called 1 and never bothered with the other one), gave them MORE references and none of them have received a call, did everything in May and here I am in June no work at all and exam season is almost over. I've called them and emailed many times just to get ignored or with false promises that I'd receive a call later (never did). Yet they STILL keep sending me emails about other jobs what's the point? And it's not just me, I applied with a friend and they've received the same exact experience.

The staff are also impossible to reach, I emailed an agent on both his emails several times from April to May giving plenty of time between to reply, called the centre and no response. I had given up then I got a call from another agent saying they desperately needed invigilators but I hadn't been cleared for work because 1 of my references hadn't replied. I sent them many more references immediately (my referees told me they received no calls or emails) and no response even with a follow-up email.

Don't waste your time you'll find work anywhere else

My experience with Property Teachers has been really positive and straightforward from start to finish. Lale, the consultant, has been especially helpful and always responds to my queries on time, which has made everything much easier and less stressful. Overall, the company is well organised and supportive, and they make the whole process feel clear and manageable.

Disappointing experience with prospero teaching. Put my notice in at my old job to start working with them, only for it to be a 4 day placement which they did not mention, and to then completely ignore me after the placement was done - so left jobless with no response from multiple emails. When registering with new job i had to get a reference of them, they ignored all forms of contact again from me and my new agency. Had to go through HR just to get a response after 3 weeks of being ignored. Communication was appalling, would have to practically beg for basic information and process was nearly 2 months long because they didnt do what they needed to do on their behalf😒 and to top it off they had the wrong school on the confirmation email, thankfully i managed to get them to confirm the name of the school i was actually assigned too, otherwise would be at the wrong school.

I have worked with many consultants through education agencies, and Jared Bennet from prospero has genuinely been one of the best people I’ve worked with. As a cover teacher working across multiple schools, having someone reliable, supportive, and fair makes a huge difference, and Jared consistently goes above and beyond.

He always treats me with respect and genuinely looks out for my best interests. What stands out most is that he is willing to advocate for me and ensure I’m valued fairly for the work I do. That level of support and integrity is rare to find.

Along with Jared’s approachable nature, he clearly cares about the people he works. I truly appreciate all of his help and support and would highly recommend working with him. If you’re thinking about joining Prospero, Jared’s one of the main reasons I’d say go for it.

I have been contacting this company which I have previously worked for for over 2 weeks now. I receive a response and then nothing after it. I even called the agency and they passed me on an email for the relevant team but no response. Luckily I already work in a school who work with the company and I will make sure that we dont do business with them again.

Awful, awful experience all round. There is no support and staff come across as abrupt, rude and condescending. There is no communication and you are left with no advice or backing. They do not listen, ignore and keep information on you against your will: They refuse to say why or what it's for so GDPR only works for some. There is no duty of care towards you as they allow others to talk about you but don't share what is said so you can't reflect anyway and you are left to imagine. If you are not careful you end up gaslighting yourself with worse case scenarios through no fault of your own so try not to be honest as I was !

I had a really positive experience with Prospero Teaching, especially during the onboarding process. Hollie, the compliance officer, made everything incredibly smooth and efficient. As long as you have your training and references up to date, the process is very quick. Hollie was extremely helpful, checking in every few days and even suggesting alternatives to speed things up where possible.
I also really appreciated the flexibility - they were able to offer roles close to both of my home locations, which is a huge plus.
The interview process was just as straightforward. Daisy conducted my interview and was welcoming, friendly and made me feel at ease right away. She also arranged the interview very quickly, which kept everything moving smoothly.
Overall, a very professional, supportive, and efficient experience from start to finish.

I had an amazing super experience in tutoring and found both Kyrah and Ellie very amazing and offered great amazing support.
They are fantastic.

Almost Never answer the phone. Low professionalism, late payments, tickets responded to late.
