INSURANCE CLAIM

Hi. Plublic Loss Adjusters, solve all your concerns and your insurance claim to the highest level of standard. We lost everything and they sorted our claim out with perfection. I would highly recommend them without doubt. Sean and Simon were simply fantastic. They handed over all the insurance claim monies promptly and on time.

Thank God you came to me at my darkest hour.

After experiencing a severe fire in my property in March 2017, which resulted in having to leave my home for approximately one year, I can, without any hesitation, fully recommend and endorse Mr John Wood & Mr Simon Colburn from Public Loss Adjusters.

Never before had I experienced a house fire whereby I lost everything. My contact, John Wood became my guiding light. His professional support, experience, tenacity and genuine care was what got me through one of the most traumatic experience of my life. And I can not thank him and Mr Simon Colburn enough.

When you experience a traumatic event like a house fire it is such a shock and often you can’t really process what’s happened and what help you need in the present and also in the future. Thank God you came to me at my darkest hour…I will be eternally grateful to you!

Amazing support and service from PLA

I had a terrible house fire which destroyed everything and at the time I had no idea what to do. I had never heard about PLA until on one day there was this lovely gentleman at my house who was from PLA and explained how they could help me. I was given a brilliant representative called John Wood who supported me the entire way through. If it was not for John I would have likely been disserviced by my own insurance company who treated me poorly throughout the whole saga of getting my home back to living condition. John was amazing in getting the insurance company to do right by me, I had no clue about my rights but John was knowledgeable and experienced and made sure I was receiving my full entitlements. thank you John for everything!

Excellent Service

I utilised the services of Public Loss Adjusters LTD after we had a fire in our family home. We were treated disgracefully by our insurance company. They kept sending multiple companies to our home without consulting us and their tone on both email and phone was the last thing we wanted to handle after such a traumatic experience so I contacted Public Loss Adjusters for their expertise/help and guidance.
Sean (our loss assessor) was fantastic and helped myself and my family through this awful experience. He was sympathetic yet professional.
They helped mediate with the insurance company who were clearly just delaying our claim and not wanting to settle. Every phone call/email was answered swiftly by Sean and he managed to settle the claim with minimal involvement from our side.
I would recommend Public Loss Adjusters LTD to anyone who happens to unfortunately find themselves in the position we were in.

EXCELLENT SERVICE

Having been asked by a friend how we were getting on with our insurance claim following a house fire, we stated that we were having a nightmare trying to get anything sorted. They recommended Public Loss Adjusters to us and we never looked back - it was the best thing that we ever did in using their services. Throughout the whole process we were kept up to date and informed. Although you pay a fee, PLA managed to negotiate a much higher claim to enable us to rebuild our house than we were offered. Would definitely recommend.

Having read the previous review we felt …

Having read the previous review we felt it was important to provide our review which is a complete opposite view.

We had a major claim involving a severe burst pipe whilst we were away on a 4 week trip over Xmas and New Year and the whole house was in a complete mess.

It was during a busy freeze period and there must have been lots of claims because our insurance company simply took the details over the phone and after almost a week without any contact staying with friends we saw an advert by Public Loss Adjusting Group and from the first phone call we were in what we would confirm were professional and qualified hands.

We signed a mandate which was explained where unlike the loss adjusters we had met on a previous claim several years ago Public Loss Adjusters just like their name suggests work for the public not the insurance company so their viewpoint is not to reduce what it costs but as they told us "We are entitled to 100% of any valid claim and no more" and they fought to make sure we got 100%.

They have a 10% fee which we only would have had to pay if we took a cash settlement but if Public Loss Adjusters referred us to their various contractors such as surveyors the drying people who also prepared a list of things which had to be replaced and of course the building contractor who put our home back to normal.

It took several months during which my family were given a temporary house while all the works were bring done and we didn't have to do anything other than work with our own Loss Adjuster who was very particular and made sure we were updated and kept informed as well as hold our hand through the entire nightmare.

We would recommend anyone with a property claim to use Public Loss Adjusting Group they are well worth their fees, even if we had accepted the lower cash settlement which they advised against.

A Trustworthy Private Loss Adjuster

We had a very difficult and challenging time with our Insurance company (Privilege) following a disasterous flood causing severe and expensive damage to our home. The insurance company initially refused to accept liability claiming it was wear and tear which was not the case.

If it was not without the help of the Public Loss Adjuster we would not have been able to achieve any progress in our claim, especially as ours was such huge amount. They were prompt and helpful in their actions, especially Sean Gregory who was a real and furious fighter for us. They did not only get our house back in order but managed to get us a compensation due to the failings of the insurance company.

Thank you to everyone of them especially Sean Gregory, his seniors and Paul Standen.

My advice to people - do not hesitate to use their services, especially if you have a big claim and problems with your insurance company.

We felt communication was great throughout and our questions were answered with a timely manner and we were listened to throughout the whole process.

We would like to thank you for the service provided following a flood on boxing day which destroyed all of the downstairs of our house. From the initial tendering process we were impressed with the professionalism of the staff. Once works started we were allocated surveyor (Carl) to contact if we had any questions.

We felt communication was great throughout and our questions were answered with a timely manner and we were listened to throughout the whole process. We fell it has been a traumatic experience following the flood but with Elite there it felt we had someone on our side, the were a breath of fresh air.
