I bough a Soft pro whole house chlorine+fluoride filter Dec/24. When my contractor tried to install the unit, it didn't work for my set up. I contacted customer service and after exchange some texts and pictures they accepted to be returned. The unit was unopened and returned on May/25. Still now Jan/26 I haven't received my refund. Called several times and they never return even saying the refund was approved. I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM

UPDATE FEB/26: I received a refund right after this review. They said a full refund due to the delay in solving, usually they charge a re-stocking fee. At the end I did pay to ship the unit back.

I would no definitely NOT recommend Quality Water treatment products. I purchased their 2 tank SoftPro Elite High-Efficiency City Water Softeners with a separate whole-house water filtration system for around $1800 in May 2024. I had significant issues with their post-sale customer service. Mine never really softened the water fully and after a year it quit using salt completely. Their 5 year warranty is a joke. You end up writing them forty eleven dozen emails and they reply asking you to spends hours going through a trouble shooting various component looking for the issue. You send them updates with the results and they send you another email and some you tube videos of ways to waste more time looking to the issue. They never send you any parts and just wear you out with slow responses all the while the unit sits in your garage for months not working. They do nothing to resolve faulty equipment. Their DIY-focused business model might work if you have no issues if you do you get to pay someone to remove their system and replace it with a more expensive system they comes with a real warranty and service. In my case, a lifetime warranty they check out the system yearly for no charge.

I don't know if the treatment is working or not. I had a question twice and have received no answer. I paid and they're done with me?!

Correction: May be it was my email system, but I no sooner posted this when I received an answer. Time will tell how it works. Hope it is great, but don't yet have an opinion. Will eventually test the water and then I'll know if it was worth the cost of purchase and install.

First off, I am confused about why this company seems to operate under 2 different names that appear to be the same business. One is Quality Water Treatment and the other is Softpro Water Systems??
I purchased my water softener from them around a year ago. I did a lot of research and also asked them a lot of questions before I actually purchased. They were always quick to respond to any questions I had. Even a month or so after my purchase they were very helpful when I contacted them and a guy named Jeremy even called me and provided some useful info. NOW, a year later and I am having some issues with the unit, and they are missing in action. Either they don't respond to emails or I get some office girl who doesn't seem to know how to answer a question or gives a response and does not even address the question. But they have no problem contacting me with repeated messages trying to sell me something else. They bragged about their lifetime warranty, but it appears that was just sales gimmick. AT THIS POINT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!

Use a credit card when paying, that way when they never ship your order you can have the card company refund your money. Quality water certainty won't refund your money. They just keep telling you" your order is about to ship". Do yourself a favor, and buy somewhere else. Total waste of time. Also these clowns are just middle men, yep no warehouse, no employees, no overhead and certainly NO values for peoples time and money. Just a couple of clowns with a website and a phone line. That's it.

The team at Quality Water Treatment provided excellent service in resolving my water smell issue. Their recommendation for the KDF85 filter was perfect for my well water, and it effectively solved the problem. The response was timely, and the explanations about water quality were clear. Highly recommend for anyone needing water treatment solutions.

I was considering a couple of softening systems and settled on Quality Water Treatment because of the tech support quick responses prior to the purchase. As a water engineer (PE) I appreciated the answers I received and the promptness that I received them. There was zero difficulty in making the purchase and the shipping schedule was constantly updated to keep me in the loop. Once received I had to delay the installation but once I got to it the customer service was great. Prompt, accurate, and even after hours at times.

Ordering was a little complicated. In the process of determining the best system for our needs, the person helping us, knowing we were buying a system for our kitchen sink, failed to mention that if we had a single handle sink with a garbage disposal we would need to purchase an additional fitting that DOES NOT come with the system. I don't know very many, if ANY, people who DO NOT have a single handle sink with a garbage disposal! We got the system in and then had to wait to install it until we could get in this very special fitting they didn't tell us about. Not only that, when the equipment arrived, the boxes were all knarled up. The straps were dangling and the boxes were crushed in some places and torn in others. We didn't know if the equipment was damaged or not. I think the equipment will work well but the process has not been fun and the cost is a bit higher than expected.

Was great to work with. One of the best experiences I have had for awhile. Would for sure order again.

This is a very nice softener and a great price. We compared it to another company and that was a joke. They came to our house and gave us the hard sale. When I talked with Softpro, they simply compared their softener. Very smart. So we are happy and had the system for several weeks. I will update in a few months.

I installed the softener about 2-3 months ago and it works great. The softener took about a week to get here. My neighbor and I installed it over the weekend which took about 2-3 hours and a pizza as payment. It was fairly simple and we did only a small upgrade to my existing plumbing. I had to call to ask a question on programming, and the the Carla was great. That's why I wanted to submit a nice to review. Overall, I'm happy and I would recommend.

I purchased the softpro elite and Aio water filter package in Jan 2024. My water was really bad, alot of iron and the smell of rotten eggs was bad. I recieve my systems within a week of ordering. The instructions were very clear. I had a few questions and contacted Rhea at customer support and she got me on track.

I was waiting to write a review because i wanted be be sure the system continued to perform. Eight months later and my water is cleaner than its ever been, no staining and no smell.

I highy recommend these guys.

Run away. I ordered a iron filter system from this website and they charged me, but failed to send the unit. I finally found tracked down the shipping information (from my credit card company) and contacted the supplier. Turns out- they simply gave the supplier their FedEx account and said 'ship to here' but the unit exceeds the maximum weight allowed by FedEx ground. So it sat at the warehouse and noone contacted me. Back and forth with this company- they attempted to resend again via FedEx (this is when the local FedEx manager told me the unit was far too heavy for their service). I notified QualityWater Treatment customer service of this fact (why don't they already know this??). Still don't have the unit shipped to me.

So- here we are- 6 months after they took my money- I STILL don't have a water unit. It's INSANE! I finally had enough and asked them to match the current 20% off sale price as a refund for this hassle. NOPE- refused. They said they wouldn't even give me the current discount they are offering on their website!

This is a company that takes no responsibility for getting you the product- once they have your order- you are on your own. If you do order through them- carefully track your shippment and know if anything goes wrong- it will not be recified quickly. Be ready to do a dispute with your credit card vendor. If I could do it differently, I would go direct to the manufacturer or use a different vendor.

They lied on the 6 month money back guarantee. I bought a water filter for iron, $2200 and after 3 months it didn’t change my water quality at all. I attempted to return the item and they said I can’t since it was used. I even tried paying shipping and the 25% restocking fee and they flat out told me I’m stuck with my purchase. Pretty pissed about it. It’s a very expensive paper weight.

They were really responsive before I placed the order, afterwards when there were issues with the unit, they did not respond! I have emailed them 2 times in the past week with zero response (although they claim that they respond in 24 hours). Also, understand that Qualitywatertreatment/Softpro does not actually manufacture any products, they simply take orders for products and then send them to a 3rd party for fulfillment, but they never mention this beforehand. The company that actually builds the products and ships the order is a large multinational company that builds units that they sell to guys like Quality Water and others, who just slaps their name on the product. Do your research and ask questions. I realize now that I could have purchased basically the same item for hundreds of dollars less than the unit I bought from Quality Water.

What a pure evil little company. If there is anything wrong with the order, their motto becomes "take the money and run. Under no circumstances be honorable and cancel the order. Ignore the customer." I am either not even receiving email responses or they email me essentially nothing, no information, no resolution. It all started when they mismanaged my order, and it all went downhill from there.

Very satisfied with the product and the customer service I received from the company. Explained everything in a professional manner, and were very friendly and polite!
