Connor is a great mechanic and has explained what the faults and repairs needed to be done.

Great booking experience with next day availability.
Oliver (8774 mechanic) called prior to arriving and was extremely helpful and polite.
I had booked the wrong service and Oliver called head office and resolved the issue for me.
All work carried out professionally and quickly. Oliver explained everything to me. Very impressed with the customer service. Will use again.

The RAC did not come out at first . The first guy was not RAC. He led me to believe one thing , which was not right.
But after 2 more days the right RAC guys came out and the car is sorted . They were both really good and knew their job
But the first call out visit was a waste of space .
Not good enough when you pay for experienced service.
So it took 5 days from the call out …..

They arrived quickly fully competent at sorting the problem & exceptionally curteous.

I had Ross Thompsett assigned as my engineer which is absolutely amazing. Got the job done neatly and quickly, 0 issues with the whole process.

I have an engine light on my dashboard since the battery has been changed, and an humming sound. I have emailed three times, and have 1 response to say they would get back to and they haven’t, not very impressed for

Received professional service from polite and friendly mechanics. Mr Ringham who attended this morning had my vehicle back on the road in no time at all and all. A very personable member of your staff.

Despite the RAC cancelling and amending bookings, the actual servicing was excellent.
Luke was friendly, efficient and clearly explained what he had done and things to bear in mind for the future
If they could get the bookings sorted it would be perfect

He was given the wrong battery but sourced one locally

Terrible and completely unreliable service.

A breakdown technician was supposed to attend on Saturday but did not arrive until Sunday. He diagnosed a broken ABS sensor and confirmed that the part was available and that a mobile mechanic was booked for Tuesday.

On Tuesday, nobody showed up and no update was provided. After I contacted RAC, I was told the part was suddenly “not available” and the appointment was moved to Wednesday.

On Wednesday morning, the mechanic (Martyn) texted to say he would arrive between 3–4 pm. When I called at 3:30 pm, he informed me he was not coming because the part was not available, despite RAC having already confirmed that it was. He then said the part was too far away to collect and wanted to reschedule again.

After several missed appointments, conflicting information, and a complete lack of communication, I lost all confidence in the service and had to arrange for the car to be towed to a garage, which cost me an additional £126.They were supposed to come today to take the car to garage between 7-12pm but again the recovery car did not show up

This was extremely poor customer service — disorganised, unreliable, and very frustrating. I would not recommend RAC’s mobile mechanic service based on this experience.

I paid an extra £15 for peace of mind to get the first morning appointment, yet the mechanic did not appear until 11.30am.

I tried to find out all morning what was happening and was repeatedly sent through loops of automated messages until finally getting to speak to a person after 2 hours. That person was very helpful in getting me connected to a human in the mechanics department, which then meant the situation could be resolved.

The mechanic finally appeared halfway through an important work meeting which was quite problematic. He explained that he had been double booked for 2 first appointments. I said it would have been really helpful for me to have known that, which he didn’t seem to quite take in or understand.

When charging me I had to take the initiative to ask for my £15 to be refunded, seeing that he had NOT come to me first. At no point did he apologise for the mess-up or for not having messaged me in the morning to at least explain what was happening.

Having said that he completed the job smoothly and was clearly quite young and inexperienced, and maybe embarrassed / not knowing how to best handle the situation which was clearly not his personal fault. Some more customer care training in cases of complications would perhaps be a good thing?

Got a cost at the roadside for the repair and was booked in for 2 days later. Jack called 30 mins before arrival, when he arrived he was very personable. Said it would take about an hour, set about to work and was done in 45 mins. Perfect.

Work completed without any problems, car maintenance advise provided.

I missed the appointment due to unforeseen events, but Laurence ( your mechanic) managed to still service my vehicle
