Booked and paid for a major service at over £300 the first appointment they cancelled on the day at 11.30am after me waiting all morning on them coming. 2nd appointment someone did turn up but only did the bare minimum which would be the interim service. Never changed the brake fluid or topped up any other fluids. Didnt do a fraction of the checks etc was there less than 1 hour and to make matters worse my car engine now is making noise when slowing down or accelerating like something hasnt been put back or tightened properly. Iv put in 2 complaints via their own complaints portal and have had zero response. AVOID! will never be using rac mobile mechanics again.

Received notification of the arrival time…friendly, approachable and carried out what was required.
Would use this service again.

I appreciate the fact that you acknowledged RAC’s mistake & the inconvenience it caused me being without my vehicle for a number of days but you have not provided any thought whatsoever as to how I continued to live my life without a vehicle. I had no other option but to use public transport systems at a significant cost to myself when it was completely the RAC’s fault.

Who reimburses me for this financial outlay? There has been no consideration given to this hence my request for the £99 diagnostic test to be refunded as a gesture of good will to an RAC member of 40 years who has never complained previously!

Very polite and efficient

I received messages to say he was on his way, arrived 5 minutes later and got on with the job. Very friendly and honest - he even left me some engine oil that was left over and he found a pound coin on the drive and handed it back to me! How cool and honest was that? He was here for about an hour overall and cannot fault him. Fully recommend RAC

Jack came out to me and conducted the service on my car whilst i was able to do other things inside the house
