I ordered a rainkiss poncho for my commutes on the bicycle after reading so many good things and because of the beautiful design.
One of my main concerns was to have something to throw over when on the bike, on days it is pouring, which happens frequently during autumn here in Sweden.

During this summer I got to use the poncho two times, and I was heavily disappointed both times.

Not only is my poncho not waterproof - I got soaked - but it also is completely unsuitable to use on a bicycle, which was one of my reasons to buy it, as it is marketed as bicycle friendly design.
However, the poncho does not cover the knees during cycling and the arms ride up, when leaning over to grap the handles, exposing the arms halfway up to the elbows.
I am not sure where the bicycle friendly design comes in, but that paired with it not being waterproof, leaves it completely useless even for a walk.
I've paid 80euros for this and wish I had instead invested in some cycling gear, as it is money our of the window because now I have to buy that gear anyway.
Super disappointed!

Wat een vreselijk dure ROTSLECHTE cape!!!! Mijn eerste fietstocht met deze cape? Na een uur in de regen -> mijn kleed op verschillende plaatsen doorweekt. En tot overmaat van ramp? Mijn iphone die ik in het voorste vakje stak -> kletsnat en vernield! Gewoonweg €79 weggegooid geld! Dan had ik beter mijn goedkope cape van t Kruidvat gebruikt. Die was tenminste waterdicht!

Will etwas zurückschicken. Bekomme auf meine Mail keine Antwort, da nirgendwo steht, an welche Adresse man es schicken soll. Habe einen Retouraufkleber angefordert. Keine Reaktion. Sind nur 14 tage Zeit für Rückgabe und von rainkiss antwortet keiner. Hab per Paypal bezahlt und will mein Geld zurück! Das ist doch eine Schweinerei. Im Paket lag auch keine Info zwecks Retour!!!
Zusatz: ich habe die komplette Ware zurückgeschickt, also 2 Artikel! Erstattet wurden mir aber nur für 1 Artikel 52 Euro. Es fehlen immer noch für den 2. Artikel 79 Euro. !!!!!

First waterproof poncho I ordered was out of stock(was in stock when I ordered it). A quick email,which Nikki responded to promptly advised me to order a different design,& gave me a £15 refund on the price. It was sent out quickly-amazing Customer Service

My puncher is absolutely brilliant.

I have worn it a lot in the rain and it’s definitely weatherproof. Unfortunately though the popper tore some of the fabric. I got in touch with the company and they were brilliant sending me a replacement very very quickly excellent customer service.

Schöner Poncho, aber leider hält er nicht das, was versprochen wird.
Hatte ihn jetzt auf einer Fahrradtour an und nach ca. 45 Minuten im Regen radeln waren die Klamotten darunter alle patschnass.
Hab ihn zum Händler zurück gebracht und sie wollten ihn einschicken. Unter Wassersäule 10.000 versteh ich was anderes. Schau ma mal, ob umgetauscht wird.

Heute 06.07., wurde mir der Poncho beim Händler umgetauscht. Herzlichen Dank!

I just had the most horrible experience with this customer service of Rainkiss.
I was re assured in couple of emails that the package was sent but customer service (Laura) failed to issue confirmation code. When I raised a concern in regards receiving the package on time they failed to acknowledge my multiple emails.
Now I got an email saying that the package indeed was not SENT at all and the item I ordered is out of stock.

Now I am left without the product which I needed by this Tuesday.

Horrible experience if you can avoid this company.

I complained because my poncho isn't waterproof. I received a public reply on Trustpilot asking me to email them to receive a replacement but despite two emails I haven't heard back from them.

I ordered an awesome, cool, fun, colorful rain poncho from Rain Kiss, my daughter and I are going to Alaska and need it... there isn't an option for expedited delivery so i emailed the company, received an answer within hours with a kind note. I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!! They care and their products are AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

First class service and product

I ordered my poncho on May 26 with a promise of 5-8 days delivery time. I have contacted them 4 times to ask them when my order will be despatched and they have not bothered to reply to any of my emails. I read poor reports about their customer service and delivery times on here but went ahead and ordered anyway. I should have listened to the feedback. They’re terrible and I have now requested a cancellation and refund as they have taken my money even though they haven’t bothered to process my order. Disgusted.

Wish I had read the reviews before placing an order for a poncho. It’s been two weeks since I placed my order and was very promptly charged for the same. I have not been notified of the item having been shipped to date. How long does it take to ship something that can be posted through a letter box??? I will be asking for a refund if my email does not get a response

Ich habe bisher keine Ware erhalten, keine Rückmeldung darüber, wo es hakt…warum nicht geliefert wird. Ankündigung in Mails keine eingehalten… und nun?

Ik heb mijn 1e Rainkiss poncho ondertussen meer dan een jaar en was initieel echt teleurgesteld. Ik fiets dagelijks bijna 9km (enkel) naar mijn werk en was geregeld helemaal nat. Nikki van de Rainkiss klantendienst nam contact op en zei dat ik mogelijk een foute poncho ontvangen heb. Zij bood onmiddellijk aan een nieuwe te versturen, want 'de Rainkiss zou je echt wel droog moeten houden'. Hoe fantastisch is dat ! Ik mocht zelfs kiezen welke ik wilde ontvangen. Het gaf wel wat keuzestress ;-)
Gisteren kreeg ik de nieuwe poncho in mijn bus. Opnieuw : wat een geweldig design, compact, licht, makkelijk aantrekbaar en het wappert zoveel minder dan de ‘reguliere’ poncho’s.
Ik kijk nu (bijna) uit naar een flinke regenbui om deze poncho te testen.
Dikke complimenten voor de Rainkiss klantendienst !

Habe inzwischen 2 poncho für mich selbst u.einen für meine Frau. Wann immer es regnet kommen sie zum Einsatz. Halten was sie versprechen. Habe sie bei einen anderen Händler 20%günstiger bekommen.

Last month I ordered a diary poncho from Rainkiss. When I received it I tried it on and was very happy it was very nice. Unfortunately it rains lots in Vancouver and I was eager to try it out. Unfortunately there was a leak just under the hood in the back.
I emailed customer service and explained my dilemma. They were going to send a replacement but unfortunately they were out of stock. So they send me a refund right away.

First Class Customer Service!

I've been enjoying my RainKiss poncho for a few months now, then one of the buttons accidentally ripped. I emailed the Customer Service, and next to being extremely friendly and understanding, they also sent me a complete new poncho free of charge! Would recommend 10/10!

Rainkiss charged me for a poncho the minute I placed the order and they never sent it. It's been several weeks now and I have not received any emails from them explaining what happened. Seems like I am not the only one.

29/4: Rainkiss responded (after I wrote this review) with an email saying the item is out of stock and offering me some discount for another one. I said I did not want it and wanted a refund. I have not heard back since and I'm still waiting for my refund.

3/5: NIkki from customer service reached out and offered to refund the money and send me a new poncho for free. The money has been refunded. Thank you Nikki.

23/5: Received the new poncho. Haven't had the chance to try it in rain so I can't comment on the quality yet. Upgrading review but can't give 5 stars as I had to be the one following up to get refunded.
