As I have much respect for the electronic music industry including the early 2nd phase from Detroit , Europe ect … The problem is now with postage !! I’m sick and tired of sellers stating “we are not in control of postage costs to other countries from our end “ bullshit , when I have ordered outside of Bandcamp I’ve had a parcel that cost £11 compared to many uk Bandcamp producers/lables posting for £25-£30 to Australia! For 12” EP that weighs under .500 grams 😀….. so work that out folks …….

I bought and Immidiatly got a Email with the song I bought and could download different types like MP3/wav and so on and as many times as I wanted. Had to unzip the song but that takes 1 second. Very happy, because this song is Impossible to get anywhere els. The song is HH-Ye/Kanye West.

Ordered a Vinyl and cd on 5th June 2025. Advised it would be despatched by 8th June.
25th June nothing had arrived. Sent email to BandCamp - now July and still nothing. Update - 24th July received my order thanks to the band getting involved. What a farce. Maybe good for downloads but certainly not for Cd or Vinyl orders -absolutely no customer service from BandCamp. Run by people who give the music industry and the bands a bad reputation.

Je confirme qu'il vaut mieux acheter les musiques sur l'ordinateur plutôt que sur le téléphone car on ne retrouve pas toujours ce que l'on a acheté. Apparemment, cette plate-forme est beaucoup plus critiquée depuis son rachat et ne pense apparemment qu'au pognon. Comme beaucoup...

Zero is my rating for their integrity. I ordered a Pentagram longsleeved t-shirt on March 12th here it is two months and two emails later and I never received my product or any return email from them. After looking at all these one star reviews now I know why they haven't answered, they probably have millions of customer complaints in their inbox. I learned a good lesson to only order Metal Shirts or other items from Amazon or Ebay unless I physically purchase it in a brick & mortar store. To the owner and all others involved in the Bandcamp scam- I will see all of you along with all your family members in hell. My name is Pestilence, but instead of riding atop a pale horse I walk a pale german shepherd canine. Be forewarned. In the meantime all of us that were duped should file an FCC complaint.

Buy from the artist, but expect to pay double for delivery.

What I like about Bandcamp is that it hosts music from some really obscure bands that I like.

Another great thing about it is that most of the artists on there allow their music to be listened to for free, though buying their music as a means of support is also possible. Buying a track or an album permits you to download it as an MP3 file.

Bandcamp for my uses is pretty much perfect, but looking at other reviews, it seems like buying physical media from there is a miserable time, so I'll definitely stay clear of that.

I get on just fine with Bandcamp ! Love that the music stays online for me to stream as well as getting the physical vinyl copy. Awesome.

Bei der Bestellung einer CD weiß man nicht, woher due Lieferung kommt. In meinem Fall kamen zur CD um $18 Lieferkosten von $15 plus Steuer und bei der Übernahme nochmals $10 für Manipulation durch die Post. Somit kostete 1 CD unglaubliche $ 50 - nie wieder Bandcamp

Je fais suite à mon avis du 15 Mars où je faisais part de mon mécontentement de ne pas avoir reçu ma commande de CD du 9 Février dernier.
Mes réclamations sans réponse de BANDCAMP ont conduit mon opiniâtreté à chercher tout moyen pour ne pas perdre ma commande et son paiement.
Cela m'a conduit sur le réseau social facebok où le groupe musical y a sa communication.
J'ai pris contact avec ce groupe et j'ai reçu (enfin...) leur CD ce jour 27 Mars.
Il n'y a pas d'arnaque sur le site de BANDCAMP; seulement des difficultés à comprendre son fonctionnement... qui diffère d'autres entreprises de vente en ligne.
Cependant, je ne pense pas réutiliser ce site.

Commande du 9 Février 2025 non reçue ce jour 15 Mars 2025.
Site ne répond pas aux mails de réclamation; mais sait encaisser le montant de la commande!!
Pure arnaque, site à fuir.

Used Bandcamp for many years , never had any issues ordering physical items.

As others on here have pointed I would be very careful when it comes to buying physical media from this platform, I have used Bandcamp before without any issues but sadly on this occasion was let down.
I purchased a physical copy of an album by an artist I've only just discovered on the 27th of January, delivery estimate was supposed to be the 10th of February at the latest and still nothing has arrived despite messaging the label through Bandcamp several times no reply has been received.
I have since found out the label in question Bad Elephant Music has gone into extended hiatus despite still offering physical media for artist on the platform, surely Bandcamp should be held partially responsible for allowing now redundant labels to still be able operate taking money from customers for goods they won't receive, as a result of this experience it's made me wary of buying from this site again.

very hard getting visitors over to this site, then i come here and read all these reviews about people not getting their stuff. i removed all my music and my account. There is nothing here to promote your music and i honestly don't see why i should use this over spotify or beatbort etc.

DO NOT BUY PHYSICAL MERCH ON THIS PLATFORM, YOU WILL GET SCAMMED, it is a good enough platform to purchase digital music, but there are no guarantees that you will ever receive anything you ordered if you purchase physical goods. only buy digital music here, everything else should be treated as a potential scam (in my case more than potential). I waited 2 months for my package, and got ignored for 2 weeks straight from the artist and i have little hope of getting in contact with customer support at this point. Best i can do is now make peace with the fact my money is gone, and warn other people about how inadequate this website has become for buying merch.

Edited feb 12th 2025: in the end my package arrived, but i stand by the opinion that this website should not be used to buy non-digital articles. At this date, the customer support has not reached out to me at all after 3 weeks i contacted them. If the artist decided to do so they could've just ignored me very easily.
This website offers absolutely no guarantees that your article will arrive, and should not be treated as an e-commerce platform, as it clearly has no infrastructure to ensure its functioning.

Beware of Bandcamp! This company will take your money without ever sending goods purchased. Repeated attempts to contact customer service will get you nowhere. Please take caution before handing over any money to an artist on this platform. Bandcamp will not support the customer even when the artist states they are not able to fulfill the orders they have taken money for.

Habe etliche Downloads per Paypal gekauft. Hat alles gut geklappt . Bin froh das es das gibt , bei manchen Bands findet man tatsächlich noch mehr Lieder

Tried to support an artist and buy some vinyl. Even bought it through paypal. But estimated delivery was so late and I was naive and waited to recieve my order.
Placed order on May 1, order "was sent" on October 7 and never arrived. Paypal sent me auto email about 120 days as answer to my dispute. Artist never replied, bandcam support never replied. bye bye money :(

Edit: after long wait Bandcamp reached out. And also artist. So I recieved my vinyl about 9 months after making order. Changing Rating from 1 to 3 stars.
