Ich habe leider am 03.05 einen Impulskauf getätigt und noch am selben Abend den Künstler wegen einer Stornierung kontaktiert. Als keine Antwort kam, habe ich bandcamp selber kontaktiert.
Ich habe dann eine Antwort vom Manager des Künstlers bekommen, dass diese keine Stornierung anbieten.
Komisch, auf der Website von bandcamp wird eine Stornierung anscheinend akzeptiert?
Ich habe den Manager daraufhin darauf hingewiesen und die GESETZE zugesandt, da mir eine Stornierung zusteht. Es handelte sich um eine Vorbestellung, wurde daher noch nicht einmal Versand.
Seitdem kam keine Antwort mehr vom Manager des Künstlers.
Von bandcamp selber kam bis heute nie eine Antwort.
Ich würde dringend abraten von dieser Seite zu bestellen!

I really dislike Bandcamp, some of the music is really good, but I don't like how woke and political they have become. It's just everywhere now. I just want to enjoy music and not being bombarded with aggressive political statements, that are sometimes even discriminating. Doesn't bother Bandcamp as they don't do anything about it. Those are a bunch of fascists calling themselves anti. They completely ignore me while I am being harassed for years by someone and they don't do anything about it. And I payed for loads of albums so, I guess it's only about the money.

Ah Bandcamp.... I've bought so many good albums on here and enjoyed the DL/streaming element when I bought vinyl etc. Such a good idea. Also had a few messages back and forth from bands/artists I love...

BUT it seems that it's all gone down hill recently. Just bought a couple of records from an American label - only given a DL for one of them - they refuse to send the other and a month later the records have yet to arrive and the seller won't answer messages. I've heard similar stories from other users - some on here too.

Bandcamp was never perfect - the app has limited functionality (can't DL tracks on your mobile!?), sometimes it could be a bit of a wait for physical items etc etc. but these days it seems to be worse than ever. I hear that they laid half of their staff off - perhaps that's why? What a shame...

Paiement uniquement via PayPal et PayPal me refuse l'accès. Donc je ne peux pas poster et monétiser mes musiques, et ne peux pas acheter de CD (dispo uniquement sur leur site bien sûr). Site inutile pour l'achat, seulement l'écoute. La carte bancaire est pour moi essentielle sur tous les sites internet, ou au moins le virement bancaire.

I used to enjoy Bandcamp and especially the app, I would've given it five (5) stars. Now the app no longer functions for me, I cannot use the search to find new artists or songs. No help/answers in FAQ and other services from the app seem broken. It always says I'm offline and can only access my previous purchases. I've tried to contact Bandcamp to sort this out to no avail.

Ich hatte schon mal CD´s bei Bandcamp bestellt, ging alles gut, die Ware war innerhalb kürzester Zeit bei mir. Nur diesesmal hat das nicht geklappt, sicher die MP3 konnte ich laden. Aber die CD, die ich bestellt habe habe ich nicht bekommen und weder Bandcamp noch der Künstler reagieren darauf. Nie wieder Bandcamp. Es ist einfach kein Verlass, das man die Ware auch bekommt.

habe bei Bandcamp bei dem Label Black Stone of Mecca 4 Cds gekauft. die sind angeblich am 16.11.2023 verschickt worden(habe am 16.11 eine Versandbestätigung per Email von Bandcamp ohne Sendungsnummer erhalten) . Die sind bis heute nicht bei mir angekommen! habe keine Sendungsnummer erhalten und die Leute bei Black Stone of Mecca haben am Anfang auf meine anfragen geantwortet aber konnten mir auch nicht sagen wo meine Bestellung/Sendung ist. auf meine Anfragen wird auch nicht mehr geantwortet. Bei Black Stone of Mecca gabs im Dezember umstrukturierungen im Management, es kam eine Email an alle Kunden mit einer Entschuldigung. ist ja schön und gut aber meine 4 Cds für insgesamt 150 Euro sind immer noch nicht bei mir angekommen. und gemeldet hat sich bis jetzt auch keiner... sehr enttäuschend finde ich das!

-Ich habe da auch eine Vermutung warum so viele Probleme mit Bandcamp haben...da sind die Künstler/Labels nicht schuld dran. das liegt da dran das Bandcamp scheinbar keine Sendungsnummern an die Kunden weiterleitet . Ich vermute das viele Sendungen beim Zoll landen und festgehalten werden und die Paketservice den Kunden einfach nicht benachrichtigen wenn man Zoll zahlen muss. Das habe ich öfter mit Sendungen aus UK. DHL schickt mir keine Benachrichtigungen wenn ich Zoll Zahlen soll(obwohl die das sollten). Ich muss das selber per Sendungsnummer verfolgen und schauen wo ich das Paket abholen und Mehrwertsteuer oder Zoll zahlen muss. Wenn ich nicht weiss das irgendwo in einem Paketshop ne Sendung für mich ist dann kann ich die auch nicht abholen. Nach 7 Tagen werden die Sendungen zurückgeschickt.
Probleme gibt's auch wenn der Versender die sendung nicht richtig deklariert und deswegen es beim Zoll hängt...
-Das kann mann alles verhindern indem man den Kunden die Sendungsnummer mitteilt...

Irgendwie seltsam!!!!
Da habe ich Anfang Januar 24 2 Cd's bestellt und bezahlt!! Sind bis heute nicht gekommen!!! Keine Antwort...trotz E-Mail!!! Glaube nicht, daß sich das Unternehmen lange auf dem Markt hält, da ich anscheinend nicht der Erste bin!!!!!

I would just like to say that if your recruiters continue to call potential employees derogatory names over and over again it's not going to work out! This woman proceeded to call me the derogatory word for those with special needs over 5 different times in one conversation. This all happened bc I politely said I don't feel comfortable putting my money into your company when you're supposed to be paying me!

Nobody should use this work period but you really should look into what some of your employees are doing and the damage they're causing your company!

I feel sorry for anyone that is genuinely trying to get their music out there!

I will be sharing this wonderfully wrong experience with anyone willing to listen!

I bought and paid for an Antipop Consortium hoodie on 31 October 2023, and it still has not arrived. This is a physical product. I also never got a confirmation e-mail, and the money was taken from my account.

Bandcamp has been e-mailed twice and has failed to respond each time.

Paypal has not intervened.

I am feeling agitated as this was a Christmas present.

Update- still absolutely nothing as of 4 March 2024. Antipop Consortium are simply thieves. £85 is a lot to lose.

Très bonne plateforme pour découvrir des artistes et leur acheter leur musique en sachant qu'ils seront rémunérés comme ils le souhaitent. Les crédits sont très bien rédigés.

Bandcamp is openly scamming half of the world by adding their own "taxes" on top of already taxed prices.

If you can buy the same music on Amazon Music for 10€$ then it will be around 12€$ on Bandcamp.

Additionally, the support is almost non-existent. Be prepared to wait for weeks or months for a response, if at all.

Use Amazon or whatever platforms sell music but stay away from Bandcamp.

Voila plusieurs semaines que j'attend et que j'envoi des messages, des mails ou une demande de remboursement pour un colis que j'aurais du recevoir avant noël.
Comme proposer je formule des mails au vendeur, pas de réponse malgré plusieurs relances. J'envois alors a BC mais rien encore, aucunes réponse ni même un accusé de réception de mon mail et donc aucun moyen de savoir ou est mon colis ni même mon remboursement.
Je suis plus que déçu car c'était ma première expérience avec eux et je perd 25 euros.

Donc je ne les remercies pas ni pour la perte de temps et encore moins pour leurs sérieux.

Ich habe 2021 meine erste Erfahrung mit Bandcamp gemacht und bisher bin ich auch sehr zufrieden! Ich habe alles und noch viel mehr zum Download entdeckt. Es ist unverständlich, das sich viele über die MWST (Mehrwertsteuer) beklagen! Hallo, diese sind nun mal ein Teil des Handels!! Freut euch doch das es eine funktionierende Downloadquelle gibt :-)

My Christmas present gift card was redeemed online and is now in my account OK, and I can see my $20 balance fine. I went to buy a downloadable album and it wont let me use part of my gift card credit balance towards the purchase. At checkout and at the paying screen, it comes up with the message - "Sorry, your gift card balance can’t be used at this time". I've tried this on several computers & mobile devices, plus restarted my Windows PC several times. A disgrace!! I've messaged their support, but to no avail. My message is don't buy a gift card for anyone as it probably wont work for them when they want to use it to buy a digital download. Shocking service.
