I dealt we Cameron and he was amazing from start to finish. My payout was really quick around 3/4 weeks!! I will be referring him to all my friends 100%. Highly recommend Tax mate and especially Cameron he was so on the ball with everything very professional and very friendly x

Be very careful with this company very little communication never respond to emails. All i got was email they on annual leave that was 2 moths ago i email 2 peopeb..They have left me to pay penalties terrible service.. they dont explane to you things properly when u can and cant clame correctly and they wont get it trouble you are. And if hmrc investigate you and find u clamed falsely you will have to pay back all by ur self rebate mate wont pay back fee you paid..

Just been paid out my rebate. Couldn’t fault anything. Was kept updated all throughout and the process was surprisingly simple.

Spoke to Georgia, during this journey and she has been very helpful. She has kept me updated and honestly it’s a really good thing they have going on here and it helps people. Only advice ask that they don’t change your tax code or if changed, change back as soon as just so it benefits you 🙂🙂

I recently had a call with Joseph Philips from Rebate Mate regarding potential eligibility for a rebate. Joseph was very polite and professional throughout the conversation, taking the time to thoroughly ask me detailed questions about my work history, schedule, and employment over the past four years. His approach was courteous, and he was meticulous in gathering information.

However, I found the process ultimately frustrating. After an extensive discussion covering my work schedule and history, I was informed I did not qualify for the rebate due to not having participated in work-related training outside my job. From my perspective, it would have been more efficient if this crucial eligibility factor had been addressed early in the assessment. This would have saved time and avoided unnecessary detailing if this requirement was a definitive disqualifier.

In hindsight, the structure of the assessment process felt counterintuitive. Spending time going over my work history only to discover that I wouldn’t be eligible left me questioning the overall approach. I trust this wasn’t a scam, but I would recommend a more streamlined and transparent initial screening question to help clients determine eligibility before investing time in a full assessment.
