Appalling customer service.
I wished I'd read Redber reviews on Trustpilot before I made a purchase with this company. I appreciate things go wrong from time to time but this company do not get it. The biscuits I bought from them were inedible, they refused to refund the faulty goods and would only refund goods that were resaleable.
Fantastic service: I made a phone enquiry to make sure the coffee machine was in stock (melitta barista T smart at a great low price), very helpful lady on the phone. Ordered online & delivered next day. Brilliant.
Rubbish customer service... Completely agree with the comments from the other reviewers. Arrogant, uncaring, and rude are definitely the right words to describe the way I was treated. I am truly amazed a company can get away with treating their customers so poorly...
Yet another customer lost. Had been regularly ordering, all okay. Last batch was not good. Machine kept stopping. Used another brand and machine worked fine. We emailed Redber to say coffee is a problem, would they be kind and replace. Obviously not, they said get a finer blend! Having now looked at these bad reviews, we will be cancelling our regular order. Maybe Redber would like to go on a customer care course. People tend to judge the company by how they treat customers. This company must have lots of money and don’t care if customers leave in droves. 37% poor reviews is astonishing.
I have used Redber a number of time s and have always enjoyed the coffee but when I attempted to order coffee on this occasion I found my carriage charges more expensive than the previous times as I am being charged a premium rate for Scottish highland and islands and for Northern Ireland yet I live in Roxburghshire 13 miles from the English Borders. The coffee is good but fairly expensive which I can live with but not putting a premium charge for transport on top of the bill.
I won't fault my experience with them, they're a more personal company to deal with and I personally like that approach and in my experience whenever I have needed some support they have been there. Product ordered is better than expected as well so I would/will order from them again.
A great experience all round. I needed a last-minute replacement for a wedding gift that had fallen through; Redber had the item at an excellent price and were able to send next day for a very reasonable fee. Their customer service people were really helpful and they threw in some free coffee as well. Thumbs up and I'll definitely be back!
After buying coffee from Redber for over a year (seven orders) I have decided to look elsewhere. Their coffee is generally good and fairly priced, but I fully understand the comments some other reviewers have made about their approach to customer service. They come across as almost rude in their responses, with an unwillingness to accept that they might have made mistakes. There are also worrying indications that they may not fully understand their resposibilities in dealing with problems with deliveries. In a competitive market place, they seem just too uncaring to deserve my business.
Just had my Moccamaster machine delivered from Redber Coffee and cannot rate their service highly enough. Numerous people on the internet showing product in stock and then noting that they were not in stock and buyers struggling for refunds. I emailed on Easter Sunday ,had a reply in 5 mins suggesting in stock -incredible- and paid online shortly after. The price was very good in fact they were the cheapest ,which can cause concerns ,but no need. Had to change delivery by a day ,which was organised immediately and delivery was well communicated and on time. Item came with coffee filters ,coffee and cleaner. Find it utterly impossible to fault this company and surprised others have at all, my experience was exceptional. Also as an online purchase experience it was akin to Amazon swift trustworthy and without issue. 10 out of 10. B Cooke

Coffee is OK but not that good you have to put up with their poor customer servce.
They promised discount codes that didn't work (and I had to chase thenm for that having referred someone).
Their web-site is poorly structured and checkout difficult as it doesn't state a number of restrictions that are placed on it (one one discount can applied per purchase for example) - I was 'TOLD' rather than my concerns being addressed. I would recommend the of use other suppliers - there are many
I ordered a new Sage Barista touch, best price in the UK and arrived 23 hours later. Because of their outstanding service I am now using them for all my coffee supplies. Every one has arrived on time and without issue. I now look forward to signing up for their weekly delivery.
I've only ever had excellent service from these guys, been buying for a few months now. The coffee is fresh, very good quality and there's a really good range to try. Pricing is on-point too!
They recently helped my dad with some questions about a coffee machine and he was also impressed.
I've ordered from Redber quite often, they have sent the wrong thing 3 times before and this week it happened again so I will be giving up on them.
Such bad customer service. Don’t use. My mum bought a part the other day and I went to get it for her. She did a last minuet dash for some cleaner and of all things a bag of coffee. I turned up to a girl with brown hair with a chip on her shoulder came into the front office.She said is anyone helping you I said no and told her of the order. To which she huffed of. She said you only ordered coffee 40 mins ago we haven’t done it, I said if you haven’t done the coffee fine just cancel the order and I’ll take the part. She then goes out the back and in front of all the staff and shouts so I can hear. “They ordered 30 mins ago and expect it to be ready”. I felt demeaned. They were paid to demean me. When she said it every member of staff looked at me. The South African owner. Didn’t care he said “she is under pressure as we are drowning in orders.” Not our orders not any more. They just lost two customers. Seriously they don’t care. They actually made amazon seem like the better alternative.

One of my worst online ordering experiences in 20 years.
DHL failed to deliver for a week and this business could not care less. I asked for the order to be cancelled and refunded and they didn't bother responding.
If you value your time and sanity, you should shop elsewhere. There are hundreds of businesses out there to try instead.
The latest Order No. 60548 for KENYER PEABERRY medium roast, Cafetiere 2 X 5oograms has no aroma & little flavour.
I now need two scoops instead of one.
I have tried telephoning on a number of occasions to complain but only get an answerphone request to leave details; what is going on?
The order was placed on April 30th 2019 & the package has may 1st 2019 on it, very confusing!

Ordered a Melitta Bean to Cup after finding Redber’s price was very competitive.
The machine came with two Melitta double wall coffee glasses, 2 packs of coffee beans and a box of mint chocolates, so was able to set the machine up and try it straight away.
Fast, efficient service with quality products. Will definitely use them again.
Ordered a Melitta Bean to Cup coffee machine late Wednesday night, arrived Friday morning, was notified of a 1 hour delivery time, great service.
The machine was priced very competitively and much cheaper than Currys, it even came with a couple of double wall coffee glasses, 2 packs of coffee beans and some mint cream biscuits, so was able to set the machine up and try it straight away.
Have checked their website and they have a good selection of coffee beans and accessories for everything coffee, so will definitely use them again.
