We had insurance with them and our son…
We had insurance with them and our son died in a fire accident; they denied the claim because he had alcohol in his system. I think this is totally unacceptable as it should not matter what he had in his system. he died because of a faulty heater that shorted out but the fire was so bad they could not prove that.

In this case, one of the causes of death listed on the death certificate falls under an exclusion outlined in your policy, which unfortunately prevents coverage.

I received a full refund on my rental. We were just 4 hours from our unit to start our week vacation, when we received a call that my dad pasted away unexpectedly. So glad I took the insurance!! After my claim was made, I received my refund in a timely manner. I would highly recommend taking the insurance.

Filing a claim was relatively easy and straightforward. Company review and responses to claim were timely. Subsequent questions asking for more detailed medical information made me feel distrusted and that the only way I could have made a decision about the state of my health was to have had a medical professional shadowing me at all times. Impossible!

As with any insurance claim, in order to adjudicate a claim in accordance with the terms of the policy, whether to approve or deny, our examiners require complete documentation supporting such claim. In reviewing the communications on your claim, when we originally received your Attending Physician Statement from the medical provider, there were details missing that we needed to follow up on. Once we received the response from the physician, we were able to approve your claim.

I will never use this service again. I still don't have my full refund.
First we were told that we would only be reimbursed part of the money for the reservation. Then it took multiple phone calls and multiple excuses as to why we were not getting the full amount. Twice I was told the check is on the way. Well I still haven't received it. It makes me wonder how many people just accept that they will not get a full refund and you end up with their money. I am still waiting for my money.
