Five stars!!!

Repair pal is an honest and trustworthy company. Chimene was the associate who helped me get my car back on the road in no time, she told me to have patience with her and she will walk me step by step on getting my car repaired and she did just that, her following up with me every day made me feel so at ease with the whole process. Without her help and guidance I probably would still be trying to get my vehicle repaired today. Thanks again Chimene for your trusted help! If she helps me, I know she would do the same for you. Repair pal is who I trust to get me back on the rode in no time. With work done professionally and with efficient maintenance and time. Thank you so much! The help was very much needed and received!

Helped me with a scammer shop

RepairPal really helped me with an ugly situation I had with a shop trying to scam me and charge me a whole bunch of money that was in violation of their repair pal agreement. Once I got on the phone with the right person Al took care of the issue and got everything cleared up. While the situation was a total nightmare, the help I got from Al at RepairPal made all the difference in the world.

Great Customer Service

Allen at Repair Pal was my direct contact. He is always professional and so helpful when informing me about the process of getting my vehicle serviced and the details of my warranty. I plan to continue to do business with them as the customer service I received was ABOVE top notch. I have had to speak to Allen on at least 3 occasions and he always help solve my issues, customer service at it's finest!

Top notch customer service

To RepairPal Management,
I am a current ‘MaxCare’ policy holder. I had a claim involving an engine repair that truly went in every direction but right since the start. I landed in contact with Deion after starting an escalation process through the warranty company. From the first received voicemail and throughout I have been nothing short of impressed. The professionalism and dedication to my needs as a customer and human being is truly unmatched. My case involved the need for constant attention, Dion never failed at being available and involved. I was able to get my issues resolved and I feel that all credit should go to him! He showed willingness, empathy, and patience while going above and beyond including being available during the weekend. I just had to reach out to someone, anyone, everyone and let you know what a gem he is. I have never had such a pleasant experience working with anyone for anything and I mean it.
I hope this email is meaningful enough to grant reward or recognition to Deion as he is truly deserving of it.

When my car did not start

When my car did not start, I didn't know how to proceed. I went on Carmax.com to search my first step and Lori chatted with me and helped me confirm my warranty, tow service and set an appointment with an auto shop. For someone who has no idea how to begin with these types of issues, I'm so grateful for this service!

RepairPal.com results questionable and unresponsive

I queried RepairPal.com on what it would cost to replace a thermostat on a 1988 Acura Legend 2 door coupe. RepairPal said the parts cost would be between $442 and $468 plus labor. When I Google the cost of a replacement thermostat I see I can get one for $9 to $35. I sent an email to repairpal with the details to find out what I was missing. They never responded. I don’t think you can trust a source that would do that.

First off, we sincerely apologize for missing your email and plan to reach back out right away. Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We work hard to provide accurate estimates and take pricing transparency very seriously. 

That being said, our Fair Price Estimator does account for OEM parts and follows the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Another important thing to note is that the estimate does already include the cost of labor at the shops in your area. In pulling up that estimate, we also noticed in the repair notes it includes other parts like the thermostat gasket and 9 quarts of antifreeze that could've also affected the price. 

We want our estimator to be a fair and useful tool for customers, but we are always looking for ways to improve. If you would like to contact our Car Genius team, they can help verify if the estimate is incorrect based on your vehicle specifications. The number for Car Genius is 877-913-1554. Auto Shops Beware!!!

REPAIR SHOP OWNERS BEWARE! RepairPal SUCKS!

Repairpal charges referrals fees for referrals they do not create! We had dozens of referrals that Repairpal was taking credit for that were not generated by their organization. They would charge us 10% referral fees for our own employees and employees family members vehicles. They charged us 10% for my childhood baseball coach that was texting and calling me (shop owner) directly about his vehicles issues. Historically, repairpal would allow us to dispute questionable referral fees that were charged. About a year ago this started to change, and they would charge us for repairs based on limited to no evidence that they were the catalyst for the referral. They customer service team was initially very helpful and thorough, trying to work with us to get to the bottom of the issue and credit us for repair visits that they did not generate. However, they now will charge us for any visit with an account associated with one of their preferred vendors (Agero, USAA, etc). Therefore, repairpal was charging for my close friends and even family to visit my shop.

At any rate, they over charged us to the tune of thousands if not 10's of thousands of dollars over the last few years. We cancelled our account, and they continued to bill us after the closing date and for customers and repair visits that they did not create.

I could go on and on, RP sucks, do not use them!

We see that you had been with our programs since May of 2016. We do have partner referral fees and some of the fees go back to the partner - the portion that doesn't goes back into our business to help our shops earn more business referrals. In researching, we do see that we offered goodwill reimbursements even though our invoices were accurately reflecting referrals charged. If the prior partner programs were not a fit for your business, there may be others that you'd like to explore with us.

After asking for a review of an auto shop, they buried my critical review.

After going to an auto repair shop that ripped me off, RepairPal, whom I'd had nothing to do with, contacted me and requested a review of that shop almost a week later. After a few days, I filled out the negative, honest review and submitted it.

The review was not shared despite the fact that several other reviews - all very short and positive - were posted more recently. I emailed RepairPal a couple of days ago about this "oversight" and haven't heard back from them.

I've never used RepairPal and this has convinced me that I never will.

STAY AWAY FROM REPAIRPAL.COM

STAY AWAY!! I bought this extended warranty for my vehicle at the dealer in San Antonio. Dealer assured me with the extended warranty tear that I bought I could take the vehicle to a certified preferred mechanic and they would repair with only a $100.00 deductible. Welp..check engine came on catalytic converter, O2 sensors went out. After months of trying to get the information to take it to a mechanic finally took it to Lambs auto repair in Round Rock tx. They kept it for a while. After 3 days arguing back and forth with repairpal, thry told me that no repairs will be approved because the catalytic converter was not covered (lie #1) I called repairpal explaining the situation, their response was only sensors were covered(lie#2) Called mechanic told them to replace O2 sensors they called repairpal and were told O2 sensors replacement WILL NOT be approved. So if you want to waste and throw money away send me a message and I'll send you my venmo or cash app, you will be doing the same paying for extended warranty from repairpal NOTHING!!

Hi there - that certainly sounds frustrating! It seems as though the issue you experienced was with the administrators of your extended service policy. RepairPal operates a nationwide network of auto repair shops who often accept work under these policies, but we don't approve/ deny those claims - that's for the plan administrators. We simply try to connect vehicle owners with high quality shops. Now, having said that, we do our best to assist anytime a vehicle is at one of our shops and the process isn't going smoothly. They haven’t stood behind me..

So I went through this site to get my car fixed. They recommended link automotive in Charleston wv. My car was there for 5 months and the garage told me they couldn’t fix it. I had to pay $400 to a tow truck to get it there. Now I have to pay more then that to get it to next destination. I feel that repairpal should def pay my tow bill to get it to another shop since the shop they GUARANTEED me would fix my problem, DID NOT FIX ANYTHING.. I have emailed repair pal a few times but they are not doing any about this.. Had I not trusted them and paid 400 bucks to get my car to their garage, I wouldn’t be paying it again to get it to another..
