Another let down in Pontypool.

Another let down at machine 2UUD in Pontypool.
Washing just finished all the power goes off, of course the garage where the machines are want nothing to do with them.
Rang the helpline, yes granted I was refunded but how am I supposed to dryly large bag of towels.
They only offer refunds but never compensate you for the huge inconvenience this causes, having to drive to other sites.
I think these machines should have more regular servicing & a better engineer service not within 24hrs.
I know there are at least 2 full washers waiting for the engineer to call & maybe forecourt owners should be a bit more helpful.

Paid for a dryer and the dryer had no heat,contacted customer service the next day and I was issued with a refund immediately,customer service was fast and helpful,things break,no complaints

Avoid

Avoid! Waste of time and money! High prices and no customer support. Phone number told me to go online. Online the form link re-directs me to homepage. Email doesn’t exist! Fake business! Wasted £20 and time! How can I even claim a refund if nothing works!??!!

SGN service station in N4

SGN service station in N4 dryer not working .
Problem was only reported by me and only then did customer service send an engineer.
No discounts given merely directed to a 13 minute drive to another station to dry my clothes . They have no idea if the door is broken there to or not .
Wash is 5.50 for 8kg and £11 for more .
Drying is £3.50 every 15 minutes .
Prices are higher than normal laundrettes .

Unfortunately, someone had pulled off the dryer door over the weekend. Our engineers are out to the machines on routine visits throughout the week but as with all vending machines, we cannot control vandalism 24/7.

I understand you contacted our customer service team this morning and they reimbursed you the cost of our wash and dry payments.

Our engineer has since been out to the machine today and refitted the door that was found behind the machine.

Once again please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Contacted the company online chat service to inform them the machine wasn’t working, I was very impressed to find it was sorted and in working order by the following day. Quick and efficient service.

Machine en panne et service client déplorable …

J'ai voulu laver mon linge mais la machine est tombée en panne au moment du rinçage. J'ai dû téléphoner 6 fois pendant 30mn pour qu'en fin le gars la redémarre à distance. Seulement, elle est retombé en oanne au même moment. Ayant déjà perdu 12€ et 2h de temps, j'ai été obligé de récupérer mon linge trempé (et puant. Visiblement, la lessive n'existe pas contrairement à ce qu'ils pretendent). Vivant dans un véhicule aménagé, le sol de mon véhicule est complètement mort. 250€ de marchandises pour le remettre en état et il va me falloir au moins la semaine entière pour y parvenir. Quand ils me donne par SMS un lien pour faire une demande de remboursement, je tombe sur un site non sécurisé sur lequel on me demande mes coordonnées bancaires.
Quand je leur dis ça, ils me prennent pour un menteur. Pas moins de 11 appels le jour de la panne et parmi ces appels, on m'a raccrocher au nez 3 fois. Le lendemain, 5 appels que l'on me raccroche au nez et au 6eme appel,ils me font clairement comprendre qu'ils en ont rien à faire que mon véhicule soit mort.
Un gros conseil,n'allez pas chez eux

Poor IT behind the laundry service

I was so excited with the machines in our village. Very convenient way to wash and dry duvets and bedspreads. So I went online to check it. I downloaded the app wash.me. And this should be a warning that the idea is good but not fit for purpose yet. The app is completely unnecessary. It is there just to get your data because no service is provided through the app. You don’t need the app to use the machines. Anyway I went there with my duvet under my arm and try to wash it. Followed all the steps, payed for it. Had a £2 discount for first use. Pressed the start button and nothing happened. Start wasn’t allowed accordingly with the tiny monitor by the machine nr.2. The door didn’t opened back. Contacted customer service through WhatsApp. They asked to press start button again, again it didn’t work, but at least it opened the door for me to rescue my duvet. Then the refund, they can’t refund your original payment method so you need to provide even more personal data . Their page to refund also presents an error when you enter the location code. It states the location name is auto-fill but it needs to match the correct name of the location. Me Group seems to know there is an IT issue here too as they point out if the auto-fill don’t match the name of the location (which, by the way, it is stated in their website) you need to contact customer service again. The only good thing their customer service through WhatsApp is fast. Honestly, in the end if you add all the necessary things to wash properly the price is pretty much in line with the neighbor village cleaners. And they do the service for you. I sincerely hope they can find out a better IT service for the laundry as the machines seems good but the IT services behind are so poor.

All our machines are serviced regularly and regular checks are made. However, as with all automatic machines, unforeseen breakdowns can occasionally occur.

If you enter an incorrect machine number while filling out our refund form, it will not match the auto-fill box. That's why we recommend you to get in touch with our customer service team in case of any such issue, as we can help you locate the correct machine number.

Our app provides customers with the ability to locate the nearest machines, and we are offering a sign-up voucher worth £2.00. We have plans to introduce more exciting offers through the app this year, so it is definitely worth having if you are a regular user.

I am glad to hear you received fast assistance from our customer care team through our WhatsApp service. We hope this does not deter you from using our machines in the future.

Fantastic Service from Robot Machine!

I used the washer/dryer in Kelso before it was removed {where did it go??!} It was great to wash duvets & king size bedspreads etc. Thought it was very reasonably priced for the convenience vs dry cleaning. Not that this is the companies fault but yes, those horse owners who take their sweaty hair encrusted blankets etc & wash them without cleaning the machine afterwards is just rude & very inconsiderate for the next person's use. I'm just sad I don't have them handy to use in Kelso anymore. I never had any issues with payment or notifications or cleanliness of my items afterwards. Bring back the machines to Kelso!

Got refund straight away. No issues.

Use the laundry services about 4 times a year for duvets, pillows, or just when my laundry becomes too out of control for a house hold washing machine. Never an issue with machines until today when I used the washing machine and spin cycle didn’t work, clothes were soaking wet! I put in dryer for 90 mins, still wet, used dryer again…. Contacted revolution laundry who refunded me for all services I used today. Felt valued, didn’t have to prove my case at all. Will continue to use services after this great customer service.

Didn't get a text message near the end of cycle either time I've used them, and the 2nd time the machine 'ran out of water'. Got to wait 4-6 weeks for a refund. What a joke. How the hell does a washing machine run out of water.

Edit: The 4-6 weeks is the timescale displayed on your website. Also the machine code is DWRX and this is an invalid machine code according to the records yet I have photo proof of it. Rang the number on the machine and was simply told they'll send an engineer out to look at it. Absolutely no customer service skills

Not fit for purpose, totally unreliable

Jet Garage, Willington Quay, dryer not working a month ago, told staff.
Today, a month later, dryer not working again. Card.machine has never worked!
Drove to Jarrow where it costs £3.50 for 15.mins, Willington costs £2 for the same interesting!
Not going to waste my time again. Will find somewhere else

Just to confirm, the machine at Willington Quay is not owned by Revolution Laundry. This machine is owned by Bewicke Service Station. We have no control over their maintenance or pricing I'm afraid.

R for rubbish

R for rubbish. Toddington services, i hand washed my clothes cause of the scandlous price of washing 11 for 18 kg. I washed about 4kg and decided to dry it 1st i thought 15min for 350 wouldnt do it but 30min for 7 should......much to my surprise...never dried it at all after 30min 7 quid rip off. Why cant people offer a good service for a fair price.. Annoyed

The time scale for items to dry can vary depending on the load size and the items.

After 10 years of operating our Revolution Laundry machines this has not been a decision that Photo-me has taken lightly.

Useless customer support

Program didn't complete so rang customer support. He was totally useless. Said he would refund - not happened. His only advice was to go online to find out more and so sorry. I had 2 large bags of partly washed clothes still soaked - zero stars!!!!

I understand a refund was processed for you over the phone and we do confirm that this payment takes up to seven working days to clear in your account. With the easter bank holiday weekend, this may take a little longer.

Expensive, but time is money, so I do use them quite regularly

Expensive, prices have gone up a LOT over the last two years. The dryers have gone up from £3.00 for 20 mins to £3.50 for 15 mins (so from 15p per minute to 23p per minute). But I do use the machines for large items, curtains, sofa covers, bedding, especially during the winter months because time is money and usually the machines wash and dry perfectly well.

My only gripe is that local horse owners wash their horse blankets in the machines, and recently I was there when a dog walking business used the machines for the most disgusting, soiled towels I have ever seen. So I take disinfectant wipes and always wipe the machine around before I load the machine(s).

I recently had an issue with the dryers not giving any heat and not drying my curtains so I have applied for a refund. Will be interesting to see how quickly this is sorted.

Generally I would recommend if you can afford them.

We do advise customers against washing animal blankets and bedding, however, as the machines are unmanned, we cannot control what items the public is placing in the machines.

I can assure you, that our machines do provide a sanitizer wash and are cleaned and maintained regularly by our team of engineers.

The washing was ok but we paid £7 for 30 minutes in the dryer, it stopped after 15 minutes and the washing was still wet, absolute rubbish.
Tried to contact them to complain, but couldn’t get through, will never use again!!

Cette entreprises est malhonnête et…

Cette entreprises est malhonnête et voleuse.
J ai utilisé 2 machines, elles n'ont pas fonctionné et depuis le mois d'octobre 2023 je n'ai toujours pas été remboursé malgré mes nombreuses relances.
Je constate que nous sommes nombreux dans cette situation.
Je vais porter plainte et signaler cette entreprise auprès de la répression des fraudes.
Faites de même.

Handy but expensive

I used the 20kg machine to clean freshen 2 duvets, machines were clean & straightforward to operate. I thought £11 was rather pricey for a wash and that was without softener which was an extra £2 . I didn’t receive a text 5 minutes prior to the wash finishing despite putting my mobile number in however I returned before the 40 minutes was up. Drying was another £3:50 for each 20 minutes. Handy for large items & did a good job but expensive to use.

Convenient but pointless when something…

Convenient but pointless when something goes wrong. Loaded the machine, paid and unable to start the load. Customer service line on the unit doesn’t ring, garage have no idea who is responsible as they only lease the land, main website has a number in French that also disconnects. Unable to find contact details anywhere else though someone must have as there’s reference to it in other posts.
Maybe someone can respond to this to process my refund?
