22 days ago complaint handler advised a goodwill gesture sent by cheque...still waiting ..AND even worse...RIAS confirmed...she never sent it....Goodwill gesture was due to dopey advisor failing to RENEW my policy when the whole point of me calling and speaking to her was to RENEW my policy.

The only validation I will get out of this is by sending to the Ombudsman and FCA. Loyal customer of 7 years. Not anymore.

Still no apology.

Clear information on initial email…

Clear information on initial email Renewal reminding in plenty of time the Policy expiry date., cost and when money will be taken. Needed to change Bank Card details, took a while to find it on line but succeeded.
Will know next time.

I was loyal customer

I was loyal customer, having received a quotation for this year which was 40% more than 17 years NCD with clean and excellent score. I cancelled the policy 4 days before the renewal and it was just after bank holiday when I called, however advisor told me RIAS taken money from my credit card already ( Auto Renewal, 5 days RÍAS rule) however they will refund it! But today I found from my statement they have refunded but taken £20 that I was not told by that advisor. Today I called to complaint and the advisor told me this charge is un refundable ( RIAS set up charge rule applied)! I questioned this as to me, it looks to be an illegal practice (unauthorised money taken from my credit card, 4 days before Auto renewal), never mind the cooling period 2 weeks even after purchase! Lack of transparency unfortunately!

Publish a phone number for changes to policy not everyone one is computer literate . Thank you Rias for sending me the telephone number I have put it on file

How to upset customers

If you are going to increase premiums by 115% tell the policy holder why. My circumstances haven't changed, I have not made a claim, so a premium increase of this magnitude must mean someone is having a laugh.

Ok if pay fully and have no accidents

Was ok with the company but if on budget and have to have on monthly you get high interest rate. Even if you have protected no claims and have one accident the insurance nearly doubles and i have full no claims and over 50.
