The new Rio Health brand was launched in 2020, providing mainly South American botanicals as tinctures, including Cat’s Claw, Manayupa (Burbur) and Stevia. Rio Health is the UK distributor for Silidyn, Green Magma, Best Choice and Epigenar. Our mission is to bring some of the wonderful natural healing plants from South America and share their benefits with the rest of the world.

Traps you into subscribe and save which you can't cancel

Ongoing Subscribe and Save company with "you can cancel any time" underneath. Well, it's not true. You can only cancel after three repeat deliveries (the next ones for a regular inflated price). This information is well hidden. It certainly doesn't appear anywhere during the purchase process. Only "cancel any time" message, which is meant to mislead. And you can't delete your account or payment details, like on any reputable site.
Tinctures seem to be low quality. Same effect as drinking water.

I used to be a regular customer of RioHealth. New ownership of the company has made it a very different experience, and I won't be returning.

Update. I was informed by TrustPilot support that Riohealth has flagged my review as containing "harmful or illegal content".

Our Subscribe & Save terms are set out on our website and in our Terms & Conditions. Your order was placed during our Black Friday promotion, where a larger first-order discount was applied subject to the subscription conditions stated at the time. If a subscription is cancelled before the minimum purchase requirement is met, the discount difference may be repayable in line with those terms.

We do not flag reviews because they are negative. Reviews may only be reported where we believe they breach platform guidelines, and Trustpilot makes the final decision.

We’re sorry the tinctures did not meet your expectations. Customer experience can vary, but we take product feedback seriously and will pass this on internally.

Beware scammers

They subscribed me without my knowledge to some expensive supplements and then wouldn't give me my money back when I returned them...Customer service line treated it as a joke

A lot of the other reviews look fake

Our website offers both a one-time purchase option and a Subscribe & Save option. A subscription is only created when the Subscribe & Save option is selected during the order process.

Regarding the return, refunds are processed in line with our returns policy once the returned goods are received and meet the return conditions. We’re sorry if you felt your call was not handled appropriately, as this is never how we want customers to feel.

We also take the integrity of reviews seriously. Customer feedback is handled through the review platform, and we do not create fake reviews.

I never received the product...It got…

I never received the product...It got stuck in customs..So it must have then been returned to Rio Health..But I had no feed back..No money return, no alternative delivery option... I warned them that last one got lost so dont send by post use a courrier service.BUT it was sent by post...
