Great food, great customer service. Couldn’t really ask for much more! I’ve been doing RNS for close to a year now, good variety in the menu - keeps it fresh from week to week. I would recommend it to anyone. The time and effort it takes to prep and cook, RNS just makes life easier and tastes great.

The food from RNS Meals is fantastic and hassle-free. As I have a busy work schedule, I struggle to make time for cooking meals at home and resorted to take aways. Obviously this wasn't great for my health, so when I was recommended RNS by a friend I had to give it a try. Healthy meals, good portion sizes and a good variety of meals to choose from, what's not to love? Highly recommended :)

Really good service, the food is better than most meal preps and it’s really flexible. Deliveries are on time and get regular updates on when to expect them. I also really like their donate option, very unique idea that helps some other people as well.

I came across RNS Meals on Instagram- I never generally write bad reviews unless I had a TERRIBLE experience & I'm always up for supporting small businesses as I'm always ordering from Instagram Businesses, anyway I made use of their discount code, just so I can try out their food and see if it's worth it.

I was very excited as they are stressing on how tasty & healthy their food is and a lot of Instagram influencers have been advertising their services, I bought 10 meal preps & 5 breakfast pots.

Right, the breakfast pot was disgusting, it was WAY too sweet I didn't finish any of them, they all went to waste. Lets move onto the meal prep, I'm sorry but it was tasteless, I could have bought a ready made meal from Asda & it would have tasted better, my other half said it tasted too salty, again all the food went to waste as we could not finish the meals (mind you we're both massive foodies!)

I honestly hate the fact how you can't cancel your account without messaging them first (which they take FOREVER to get back) They 100% make their money from customers who forget to skip meals, which is kinda sad. There should be weekly reminders to new customers for at least the first month to remind them to skip their meals so they're not left out of pocket, because this is exactly what happened to me! I contacted them the next day early morning to ask them about money that has come out of my account (which was almost £100!) that I had no idea about, they then proceeded to say I can give my food to the homeless should I not want it I'm sorry but that's nice and everything but £100 worth of food is A LOT to give away, it's been a tough year for everyone and RNS Meals are refusing to give refunds because of their loophole of a scam?

In the end after a LOT of back and fourth with their poor customer service we came to a compromise which was a 50% refund (better than nothing hey!) they said it’ll take up to 10 days to come through.. 10 days later, nothing. I contacted them again to ask for an update, they said oh the refund wasn’t processed sorry, lol. So I waited another 10 days, and surprise, no refund. It’s been over 4 weeks and RNS Meals have been sitting on my refund, lying and telling me they’ve processed my refund (twice) when they haven’t? This is the WORST experience I have ever had a with a small business, please avoid and save your money!!

Received my first order this week and having had 3 delicious freshly cooked meals, I can say I’m very impressed and already looking forward to next week’s selection. Courtesy of my wife, RNS meals were the only food prep company I found that offered a range of meals that were Gluten Free, Vegetarian and most importantly healthy! Being GF and Veg is tricky enough in terms of quick options and so having these meals prepared in advanced, ready to eat is amazing. Definitely a fan!

I ordered Rns Meals after seeing it advertised on Instagram. This is where I should have realised the first red flag but some things I have purchased through influencers recently, have actually been worthwhile, not rns meals.

I used a discount code and picked out my meals. The website at first was easy to use, and the whole branding and marketing I have to say is v good. This is what I fell for originally. The family brand values, bright colours, happy marketing. Look beneath that I tell you...

The first issue occurred when my meals arrived. They looked NOTHING like how they were pictured online. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was expecting some sort of similarity to the latter being advertised. The katsu had no sauce (it does in the pictures advertised on both the website and Instagram) and was made up of 70% severely dry rice. It tasted nothing like a katsu. The meals are meant to be inspired by Asian cuisine, but I would say they are more likely inspired by uni student's cupboards, and by that, I mean s*** packets of microwave rice and random veg. There is also a lack of meat in each meal and similarly, in the vegan option, there is a lack of protein. The main context in the box is very dry carbs, absolutely not made with consideration.

Another down point to the food, is every meal tasted the same, I think this is due to the packaging though. Although the packaging is environmentally friendly (yay green credentials) the material of the box makes the food taste weird when cooked. I guess you could avoid this slightly cardboard plastic packaging taste, if you cooked the food in a bowl. Maybe? I didn't try it.

Why am I so mad? you may ask? Well, I accidentally forgot to cancel the next week, as I was extremely busy at work, meaning I was charged over £80 for something I could have cooked myself for £10. I'm not joking pop to your local lidl, that's the quality of the food used. I know the point of meal prep is you don't have to cook yourself, but I can get an organic meal prepped large fresh homemade protein salad from my local health food shop for £7, well under what rns charge. I ordered rns meals because I didn't have time to go to this health shop. I now make the time...

That's another thing, there is no mention of where the food has come from, apart from being 'local'. Locally sourced from where? It is also impossible to message anyone on the team because the customer service 'team' is 100% digital bots, that can only answer certain things. Not, where do your source your food from? Is it organic? What does local mean?

They also make it extremely hard to cancel and there is NO clear option for canceling on the website. Super easy to order, super hard to cancel. I work in tech and with computers, every day and I couldn't find the button. This company shows similarities to that of an MLM, hard to get out of.

The cancel this week button is hidden within one of the account settings. I think under 'Your Account', but this is not advertised. The buttons that then follow, are also written in hard-to-read text and less wowwy fancy colours, which makes you think you are pressing on incorrect things. You also need to cancel your subscription every week or you get charged £80. You can put your whole plan on pause, but to do that you need to speak to a bot, not an actual human. Thrilling.

Basically, do not order from rns meals. I wish it was, what it appears like on Instagram... See past the smiley family branding that you wish this company was about, and order from elsewhere.
