Rope Source is an online retailer specialising in ropes, twines and cords, proudly rooted in the heritage of James Lever and Sons - family ropemakers now in their sixth generation, established in Bolton, England in 1856. We pride ourselves in our industry leading knowledge and the quality of our products, offering an extensive range of ropes, twines and cords for a wide range of applications. Whether you are looking for a clothesline for your garden, twines for crafting or bungee cords to tie down your load, we have an unrivalled range of cordage products to choose from. We can also offer bespoke and custom orders, so if you can’t see what you’re looking for on our website, please contact our experienced sales team to discuss your requirements and we can identify the samples you send, recommend a suitable alternative and even produce it to your requirements. We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 1pm on the same day of purchase from our Bolton factory when in stock and we offer both a standard 2-3 day and a next day shipping service. Easy to order

They couldn’t have been more helpful

They couldn’t have been more helpful. I’d ordered the wrong cord and couldn’t work out which cord I needed for my project. James got back to me promptly and identified the correct product.
