Schlechter Kundenservice

Der Versand war schnell, aber der Versandkarton war komplett beschädigt und ein Set waren geöffnet und alle Teile aus dem Besteckset war in der Verpackung zerstreut. Auch sind Kratzer vorhanden.
Royal Design will allerdings 19€ für den Rückversand, obwohl das keine normale Retoure ist. Warum soll ich geöffnete Ware behalten? Auch nach Mail-Kontakt behaart man darauf, dass ich reklamieren muss. Ich möchte aber nicht reklamieren, sondern zurücksenden.

KEINE EMPFEHLUNG

Ich kann diesen Online-Shop tatsächlich nicht empfehlen; es sei hiermit jeder davor gewarnt, dort zu bestellen. RoyalDesign gibt auf der Website Lieferzeiten an, die nichts mit der Realität zu tun haben. Hierdurch täuschen sie bewusst Verbraucher und animieren sie zur Bestellung. Dadurch benachteiligen sie redliche Wettbewerber, die wahre Lieferzeiten angeben. Aktuell warte ich seit fünf Wochen auf eine Bestellung; der Kundendienst kann mir nicht mitteilen, wann sie die Bestellung geliefert bekommen. DENNOCH heißt es unverändert auf der Website, die Lieferzeit betrage "1-2 Wochen".

I have awful awful experience with…

I have awful awful experience with Royal Design company. They don’t respond on my email, they couldn’t find my return parcel, with was sent by FedEx courier service as requested. I am afraid that courier service was requested by purposes as it’s difficult to check the tracking of a parcel with courier service. I sent few emails with request to clarify the issue, but still have no response. Thinking about asking lawyer’s advice as the company like Royal Design should not be on the market as it’s very frustrating for the customer who trust them. Irina

Bestellung wurde am 6.12.2025 getätigt, am 03.03.2026 immer noch nicht versand.

Bestellung wurde am 6.12 getätigt, versprochenes Lieferdatum 22.12 (vor Weihnachten). Heute ist der 03.03, knapp 3 monate später wurde die Ware immer noch nicht Versand. Es wurde aber mehrfach eine voraussichtliche Lieferung in "kürze" angekündigt, welche nie erfolgte. Es ist dringend abzuraten.

Defective Product - Customer rights ignored – must involve a lawyer

Our experience with Royal Design has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. We received a lamp with a manufacturing defect that made it impossible to properly assemble. Despite clearly explaining the issue and providing multiple photos, Royal Design repeatedly blamed us for the defect, even though the problem was present upon delivery.

For more than a month, they have shown no genuine effort to resolve the issue. Emails were ignored for days at a time, and no practical solution was ever offered. Their customer service has been unresponsive, dismissive, and unhelpful throughout the entire process.

It has become clear that Royal Design is not willing to take responsibility for defects that exist at the time of delivery, and they consistently ignore consumer rights. As a result, we now have no choice but to engage a lawyer to enforce our legal rights.

Unterirdisch und dreist!
Ein Stern ist noch zu viel!!! Auf keinen Fall dort bestellen. Mir wurden 19€ Rücksendekosten abgezogen, obwohl das Paket nie angekommen ist. Ich warte immer noch auf die vollständige Erstattung. Mittlerweile überlege ich, einen Anwalt einzuschalten.

Defekte Ware und katastrophaler Kundenservice

Ich habe bei Royal Design sechs Hay Barro Tassen bestellt. Die Lieferung erfolgte zügig, allerdings weisen vier der sechs Tassen erhebliche Produktionsmängel auf. Teils tiefe Löcher, Risse und fehlerhafte Lackierung. Offensichtlich wurden die Produkte vor Versand nicht kontrolliert.

Ich habe die Ware direkt per E-Mail reklamiert und auch Fotos mitgesendet. Nach etlichen systemgenerierten E-Mails mit Null Aussagekraft kam nach einigen Tagen eine E-Mail vom Kundendienst (Vermutlich auch KI) mit einem Link und der Info, ich müsse die Reklamation über ein Reklamationsportal abwickelt. Der Link führte zu einer visuell etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Maske teils auf deutsch, englisch und Schwedisch, auf der ich dann noch einmal den Schaden beschreiben sollte. Also genau das, was ich bereits vorher per E-Mail gemacht habe. Daraufhin habe ich wieder eine systemgenerierte E-Mail erhalten mit irgendwelchen Floskeln aber ohne konkrete Aussage, wie Royal Designer den Schaden ersetzen möchte. Auf mein Geld, neue Ware oder zumindest mal Kontaktaufnahme durch den Kundenservice warte ich bis heute. Eine wirklich absolut negative Erfahrung, ich werde nicht wieder bei Royal Design bestellen und kann anderen auch nur davon abraten.

A truly awful experience

A truly awful, awful experience with Royal Design. We purchased a table in November. It arrived damaged in December. We reported the damage upon receipt. Royal Design were unable to offer a replacement table, so we asked for a refund. We have still not been refunded, despite repeated chasing. Their customer service and refund teams are very hard to get hold of and unbelievably slow to return our money. Earlier this week, they told me it could still be two weeks or more due to a backlog they are working through - having previously told me it would have been paid by now. I cannot recall a worse customer experience than this. Looking at others’ messages on Trustpilot, one wonders if they are in financial difficulty and simply do not have the cash to pay customers what they are owed?
Having exhausted all efforts to secure a refund with Royal Design, I will be contacting my credit card provider next week to see what they can do and lodging a complaint with Trading Standards.

fühle mich zunehmend schikaniert.

Der von mir bestellte Fusselrasierer funktioniert nicht. Die Messer drehen sich zwar, aber es wird kein Fussel abrasiert.

Vor 14 Tagen habe ich reklamiert und eine standartisierte Antwort erhalten: "Wir bemühen uns, dies (die Bearbeitung der Reklamation) innerhalb von 30 Tagen zu tun."

Heute habe ich eine lange Mail in Englisch erhalten, was ich alles überprüfen soll, um festzustellen, ob das Gerät nicht vielleicht doch noch funktioniert. Das habe ich alles genau so gemacht, das Gerät funktioniert aber nach wie vor nicht. Ich solle ein Video mitschicken - von einem Gerät, das nicht funktioniert! Außerdem solle ich die Seriennummer senden. Eine Seriennummer gibt es aber nicht.

Die Situation empfinde ich als sehr unbefriedigend und ich fühle mich zunehmend schikaniert. Für ein Gerät in dieser Preislage hätte ich einen anderen Service erwartet.

Designer-Lampe falsch geliefert, mangelhaftes Handling der Reklamation

Wir hatten eine teure Designer-Lampe bestellt, geliefert wurde aber leider die falsche (kabellos statt mit Kabel).
Das kann passieren. Leider war das Reklamtions-Handling vom Kundendienst katastrophal. Nach längerer Korrespondenz (Das Personal war nicht in der Lage, die eigene Original-Bestellung richtig zu lesen !) und ausführlicher Erklärung der Artikelbeschreibungen im Online-Shop haben wir jetzt ein kostenfreies Retouren-Label erhalten. Bei den Preisen für hochwertige Artikel erwarten wir ein deutlich professionelleres Handling von Reklamationen. Und nach dem Verlauf der Reklamation wäre ein kleiner Gutschein für den ärgerlichen und langwierigen Abwicklungsprozess durchaus angemessen gewesen ...

Worst Customer Service

Worst Customer Service I have experienced! I have been trying to get into contact with the Support Team since January 5th because the carpet sent to me is blotchy, bad quality and does not match the measurements stated online. I just want to return the carpet and need a return label or some sort of instructions to send it back.I can‘t reach anyone via phone and the chat only provides a Chatbot which doesn’t understand my problem. I have sent numerous emails and last Friday someone finally contacted me about a lamp?!?!? I mailed back of course and now I’m not receiving any answer - again. This is quite ridiculous and very annoying for me as a customer. I will not purchase anything from Royal Design in the future!

Meget langsommeligt retur system

Deres retur system er alt for langsomt.
Jeg sendte varen retur d 27/12-25, De modtog den 30/12-25. Jeg har rykket for retur penge d 19-1-26 pr. Mail, med dokumentation for afsendelsen og deres modtagelse. Stadig intet hørt. Som minimum kunne de svare på mail.

Äußerste Vorsicht beim Bestellen

Äußerste Vorsicht beim Bestellen! Die nicht unerheblichen Frachtkosten (von und nach Schweden) müssen für Lieferung UND Rücksendung vom Käufer getragen werden.
Die von mir bestellte Lampe erfüllte die Erwartungen (hinsichtlich Material) nicht im Geringsten und war auch unabhängig davon vollkommen überteuert.
Mein persönliches Fazit: Finger weg.

I purchased a set of 3 Rice children’s…

I purchased a set of 3 Rice children’s toy boxes in November with no notification of delayed delivery at time of purchase. When I enquired with customer service, I got a very slow response that they were actually not in stock and they would be arriving next week. I then didn’t get any update for a few weeks and finally chased and got told they wouldn’t actually be in until February now. I’ve asked can I switch to a design that is in stock and have received no reply. Slightly ridiculous and disappointing but it looks like a lot of 1 star reviews lately with similar issues.

Wir haben Mitte Dezember eine Espressomaschine bestellt, die einen Herstellungsfehler hatte. Diese wollten wir reklamieren/ersetzen, allerdings hat sich bis heute niemand auf unsere Reklamationsanfrage gemeldet. Der KI-Bot verweist auf Emailkontakt.
In der automatisierten Emailantwort wird auf die KI verwiesen. Schade. Enttäuschender Service.

Be very careful! You have to service Royal Design as a customer!

Be very careful! 'The customer exists to service the company/Royal Design' - and unfortunately not the other way around clearly Royal Design is that company! Find another place/website than Royal Design to buy the product you want, is our recommendation! I greatly regret that we did not check out the company and its customer policy before we jumped 'on'. Complicated return of goods, many requirements are made in the return information before a purchase. The goods you return and especially the packaging, must be in almost better condition than when you received them, otherwise they will deduct the credit. Almost impossible (- and in line with PostNord's customer service) to get in touch ... provides the wrong phone number on the website, standard/copypaste answers to slow emails. Despite a Swedish company that sets up Danish text, Danish is not spoken - refuses anything other than English or Swedish. Keeps the customer in emails with 'no-answer' replies. Holds back the credit for several weeks. Allows themselves to refer to 'holiday rush' despite goods purchased and returned in start/mid-November. Does not take our dissatisfaction seriously withholding (a large) amount - but sends a sudden email (in the same email thread) asking us to give them a number of stars for a good experience - rather arrogant. It is only when we point out that we intend to file a complaint with euro.consumer service (and text in English) that Royal Design responds with information that they have taken possession of our product, etc. .... BE CAREFUL!
