The @ARK Pioneer, High Barnet sports plus manager, displayed unprofessional behavior.

I have been using SchoolsPlus facilities for more than three years now. I had a really nice time with all of your employees until I met the latest area manager to manage the venue, @ARK Pioneer, High Barnet.

He is acting up with us and trying to show his arrogant attitude. He is not trying to resolve the issues; instead, he is trying to fight. To be honest, I felt very bad, and if you inquire and take any appropriate action, that would be great support.

I am optimistic that this issue can be resolved in a manner that maintains the positive relationship I have had with SchoolsPlus over the years. I look forward to a positive outcome.

Regarding the arrival time of your booking, our area manager was simply following company protocol. It is our policy that if a club's time at the facility extends beyond the booked period, we must charge for the additional time used. This ensures fairness for both our customers and the schools we partner with.

We have truly enjoyed having your club as a customer over the past few years. It saddens us to see so many negative reviews, especially when the number of reviewers claiming to be members of the club is far greater than the 15 people who have been attending your sessions! Please note that we do not enter negotiations with customers to change their reviews, good or bad. Customers cannot extract special terms from us through the threat of negative reviews, or as a bribe to take negative reviews down, and we do not appreciate the proposal that we do so.

We are also very sorry that you felt the area manager was impolite, and I assure you that this has been escalated internally. You'll understand that out of respect for the affected individuals this is being dealt with privately, not in public. However, any outcomes that are specifically relevant to your club will be communicated directly and professionally with you.

I have been with Schoolsplus for over…

I have been with Schoolsplus for over three years now, and I’m more than satisfied with how I’ve been treated within the company. Recently, my new area manager at School21, Dwight, has been exceptional. He has addressed any issues or concerns I’ve had promptly and always makes sure staff are on board with decisions that may affect us. He has a great balance between being friendly and professional. It’s exactly what you’d hope for in a manager🙌🏼

We have enjoyed playing here for quite…

We have enjoyed playing here for quite some time and never had any issues. However recent experience with the area manager by our group that plays every Sunday morning has put us off big time. It’s surprising to see that a person with such a rude and arrogant behaviour has been hired to manage such a great facility. School plus, my one pence -please do something about it. If you are not finding polite and courteous people for management then train them appropriately.

Sports Service Providers

My experience with SchoolsPlus over the years has been productive for the organisation of my club sessions and other external bookings at several venues.
I found the Management & Finance Staff very helpful and professional with queries. They were extremely helpful with the new Enni system, which has many positive advantages, but needed tolerance in adapting to using it for block bookings.

I have dealt with many other venue host in London and would recommend SchoolPlus to potential users.

Greta experience with all bookings!

I have had nothing but positive experience with Schools plus and in particular with the staff, who have always been brilliant. I have a dedicated account manager who deals with any issues that come up (very rarely do) and I couldn’t recommend using the service more. Very happy and continue to use them for my year round bookings.

We have built a fantastic working relationship with the team of staff at schools plus! From the office/admin support of Jan Newman to the onsite professionalism of the site support staff. They are always available on site to support us with our netball club needs. Thankyou for everything our girls love their new home!

3 years of pain with Schools plus

Been renting sports halls in London from School plus for the past 3 years and communication is awful. They do not know the sites they are renting out and do not care for them at all. We're a very small club currently paying for a hall we cannot use fully. They have been ignoring all our calls and emails for weeks and I do not know what to do anymore.

On plenty of occasions

New staff on site always make a point to welcome you in and are friendly and helpful.
Staff have reported condition of the football nets and are actioning feedback from the football club users, communicating feedback that they will be done after half term.
On a Monday night a disability player (before they even got on pitch) had an accident, I was told that a member of staff helped with first aid
No problems with accessing the pitches as staff always opening up in good time
I have had helpful and timely communications for my enquires into booking an extra training space for my team.

Schools Plus 5 Star service

Schools Plus has great customer service, they are responsive and try their best to resolve any situations.
Their turn around time to get back to you is quick. They friendly and professional. We have used their service for over 10 years and continue with our loyal and long standing relationship with them. They are highly recommended.

I am using SchoolsPlus facilities for more than 2 years now. I had really nice time until few weeks before with all you employees until meet the latest Area Manger to manage the venue @ARK Pioneer, High Barnet.

He is very badly behaving with me and trying to show his arrogant attitude. He is not trying to resolve the issues instead of he is trying to fight. To be honest I felt very bad and if you esquire and take any appropriate action that would be great support.

Additionally most of my friends had similar experience with the same person.

I am done here - time to move on

I have been visiting Ark Pioneer Academy sports hall (Barnet) for quite some time now but of late my experience was overshadowed by the rude attitude of the new manager.
Upon arrival, I encountered the manager who was not only helpful but also quite dismissive when I asked a simple question about the booking process. Instead of offering assistance I felt belittled and unwelcome, more of an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. It's disheartening to see someone in a leadership role exhibit such lack of courtsey.
I believe that good service is just as important as the facilities themselves, especially in a community sports facility where inclusivity and encouragement should be the norm. Unfortunately this new manager missed the mark and I won't be returning unless I see significant improvements in the management and staff training. I hope the management can address this issue as it could greatly improve the overall atmosphere for visitors.
