This is my third time using SE solicitors specifically Hannah to move house. Hannah is brilliant. Kept me up to date, chased when necessary. Talked me through everything and just all round really great service. I will 100% continue to use her for my future sale/purchases. Thank you Holly

Hanna and her team are very professional, friendly and helpful.

Our recent experience with SE-Solicitors has been deeply troubling and falls far short of acceptable professional standards. A County Court Judgment (CCJ) was filed against our company due to what can only be described as a negligent failure to perform even the most basic legal checks. SE-Solicitors acting for the claimant erroneously confused our company with another of a similar-sounding name, despite our distinct registered address and company details—an error that proper due diligence would have easily prevented.

Equally concerning is the way this matter was subsequently handled. During a phone call with SE-Solicitors, we requested written confirmation of our discussion and an outline of the steps they would take to rectify their error. No such confirmation was provided. This lack of basic professional courtesy and communication is indicative of a broader disregard for accountability.

More troubling still was SE-Solicitors attempt to shift blame onto their own client, suggesting the error was due to incorrect information being provided. We had already verified with the client that they had supplied the correct name and address for of the offending company from the outset which was NOT our associated company name or address. The responsibility lies squarely with the solicitor, and this attempt to deflect blame is both disingenuous and unprofessional.

The conduct we experienced reflects an alarming mix of procedural incompetence and a dismissive attitude towards the real-world consequences of legal missteps. The reputational, financial, and operational harm caused to our business has been met with indifference—an approach that appears to ignore the solicitor’s obligations under both the Civil Procedure Rules and the SRA Code of Conduct.

In light of these events, we would strongly caution others against engaging SE-Solicitors in any matter where accuracy, professionalism, and accountability are expected.

Emily Davis has been helping me with a number of legal matters over the last couple of years and I cannot praise her enough. From the very beginning she has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise and dedication - but she is also so approachable and friendly - explaining everything clearly and making me feel she really has mine and my family's backs. She always returns my calls and her clear communication style makes the entire process so much less daunting than it could be. This is the second time I’ve used Hannah O’Gara at SE Solicitors in Bicester for conveyancing. Her and the team were efficient and professional throughout our sale and purchase. We work with Lily.D in the Banbury office to collect debt on behalf of our company, she is absolutely fantastic, we have never had so much success and she communicates perfectly with us so we know who has and hasn't paid and when we will be receiving the debt she has helped collect on our behalf.

Aggressive and horrible. Se solicitors work for Bradfords building supplies who instructed them to chase me for a false debt. I was actually in credit. Their letter to me was disturbing and horrendous and I will be contacting the law society and ask them to review the contents.

We instructed SE Solicitors to deal with the repossession of a buy to let flat. What should have been straightforward was complicated by the actions of the tenant which resulted in three court hearings and the necessity to appoint an experienced barrister.
