The phone was answered promptly and the staff member was very helpful taking me through the procedure to renew my savings bond using the online portal.

Really can't fault this bank. I am a savings customer. Saving rates are good and when I have had to phone to get something sorted it has gone well. Only small criticism is that occasionally the interest certificates for tax can be incorrect.

Great app. Easy to negotiate between accounts. Competitive interest rates.

New account application proceeded quickly and easily.

I would like the option to select monthly interest, without a drop in interest rates, otherwise I would have give 5 stars.

Brilliant bank.Transactions done so quickly, notified immediately, web site sign in very easy, can't find any faults so far.

Despite the 1 star,I would give Paige in security 5 stars after she spent almost 2 hours helping me navigate STB's security system to get me into my isa a/c.I bank online with 6 banks and they seem to be able to keep my a/cs secure without tying me up in knots with endless security barriers.Despite using my filed security details I could not access my STB a/c on looking at my file,which I usually visit once a year, I find it has happened at least 4 times before? Paige offered to stay with me but I felt guilty for taking up so much of her time (plus I was 'losing the will to live) so I let her go. Armed with a temp. password & pin-I still couldn't access my a/c!
