Easy to open, use and close the account. The app is clear & easy to use and the interest rate competitive although did reduce after a time, hence moved savings to another account.

Was told id have 4.7% online for 1 year, then when I put alot of money for good interest rate, every month it went down and down.

Reasonably promptly answered. Issue resolved.

Withdrawals are actioned on the day of request if before 14:30 and you get an email confirming the withdrawal too. Some of my other banks insist on waiting 24 hours before actioning.

I first encountered STB through a retail 0% credit agreement with V12, and then became a (very minor) shareholder, and finally I also now have a savings account. I use the apps and find them excellent, and I like they way they do business. I have been able to manage my accounts exclusively online and via Apps, but these are very intuitive- and I feel that if I had need to contact them that telephone customer service would be just as good. Recommended.

Great bank, terrible app, over a year i only managed to withdraw twice without hassle and needing to ring the bank, each time i was told its all working fine, but when i tried to withdraw i was alway told cannot continue as there is an outstanding transfer already in progress, but there wasnt, so sadly after failing to withdraw again yesterday i have finally admitted defeat and closed my account, sad as i liked the rest of the services

Pretty competitive rates for cash savings products and a range of options. A good easy to use app and most importantly excellent and prompt customer service.

Very efficient and reliable company with competitive savings rates. However some leading brand companies are offering slightly better rates.
