The whole website/app is a fraud
The whole website/app is a fraud. They will sign you up and take your money, however you will not be able to cancel your account. They will tell you that you can only contact them via email and then when you do get they will send you a reply in your spam folder. However the email on the spam folder gives a url that you can not even click on and seems likely fraudulent. I have already filed a report with the Federal Trade Commision and took steps to ensure they can not steal any more of my money. Ignore all of the positive and 3 star reviews, they are likely fake as well. Please if you have not already, do not subscribe to this website/app. If you have, encourage you to file a detailed report with dates and all information like I did.

This site/app is deceitful in not stating they are a subscription service and do not let you cancel your subscription
Edit 2: It's been 2 weeks since I asked them to cancel my subscription (which wasn't clear it was a subscription based on their site). They haven't returned my emails. I cancelled my CC in order to stop them from charging me. They are thieves!
Edit: One week after I demanded they cancel my subscription, they still haven't. My support ticket number is 383341. Cancel my subscription or I will report you for unlawful practices.

This site/app is deceitful. It markets itself as a one month or 3 month program, yet it bills you monthly, without making it clear that it is a re-curring subscription. And they make it difficult to unsubscribe. There is no place on the site to unsubscribe! I thought since there's no way to unsubscribe that it is a one monthly subscription that I signed up to, but no, they have been charging me monthly. I still don't know how to subscribe.
This taught me to NEVER purchase an app without reading reviews. I've wasted so much money due to their deceitful practices.

Don’t give a penny to self esteem app, no refunds.
The app. was not what I expected at all. The quiz you take up front will show you need help regardless of how you answer it which is very deceiving. It is a basic app. that has you doing all the work like journaling. It’s nothing new or different. What made my experience the worst though is the way they handled my cancellation and return request. I asked for a refund the same day of the purchase and they simply refused. Do not give this company a penny! Terrible organization that are supposed to be therapists that won’t honor a return for something that won’t work for you. It really tells you what this app. is all about. Making money at any cost. Terrible!!

READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE YOU TRY THIS APP!
I liked the content they provided and found it helpful HOWEVER I find it very dishonest that they do NOT make it clear that it is a recurrent subscription and that you WILL be charged again after the original amount of time you signed up for, regardless of which option you choose; there is NO one time payment option, which is what everyone wants and expects. AND they don't let you see that or when your subscription will renew again, so it's a surprise, and they don't give an easy way to cancel through the app.
And when they do charge you without you knowing ahead of time they REFUSE to give a refund! They care more about stealing people's money than they do about your satisfaction. If they actually cared they would give you a refund or a warning a week in advance through text and email that your subscription is about to renew so that you have the chance to cancel it, or AT THE VERY LEAST LET YOU SEE SOMEHOW WHEN IT WILL OR THAT IT WILL RENEW, instead of letting you know after the fact when they refuse to give you your money back. TRUST THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!
If this had not been the case I would have GLADLY given the app four stars because I liked the content. Disappointed at their lack of integrity; they obviously want you to be tricked into automatic recurrent payments, otherwise they would be willing to give you a refund.

There is no option on the website to cancel your subscription. You have to email the company, and all the responses you get will most likely be sent to your email's spam folder. Open up your spam folder and follow the link they send you from their auto-generated emails. This should unsubscribe you.
I just wanted to post this for people who were in my shoes who are frustrated with this app. It can be a hassle to unsubscribe.

I’ve been trying to cancel my subscription to the selfesteem.app and the website is down and I’ve paid $300 thus far in recurring charges. I want to cancel it and have had a poor experience. I’ve already reached out twice via email.
