As a new business owner...

As a new business owner, my first experience using Sendle was incredibly disappointing and stressful. I booked nine parcels for pickup and left them all together at my front door, as instructed. One driver collected a single parcel, while a second driver (apparently from a different third-party provider) later claimed there were no parcels to be collected — despite them being left in the exact same location.

The pickup was rebooked for the next day, and while the remaining parcels were eventually collected, six of them were then lost in transit. I had to chase Sendle for updates daily, with minimal support or transparency. Eventually, they admitted the parcels were lost and advised me to submit a claim — which I did. I also resent all affected customer orders out of pocket to maintain my reputation.

Days later, Sendle suddenly located and delivered some of the original parcels (2 week after sending), cancelled my claim, and refused to cover the cost of the replacements I had already sent — despite having earlier confirmed the items were lost. My repeated requests to escalate the issue were ignored, and I received nothing more than a generic apology from a customer service representative.

For a new business, this type of error could have been devastating. While I absorbed the cost to protect my customers' experience, Sendle took no real accountability. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Sendle to any small business. I have since moved to Australia Post and have had no issues.

Someone seriously needs to start a…

Someone seriously needs to start a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT over Sendle and Canada to USA shipping. They are getting paid the postage to take our packages across and from reading reviews there is a TON of people who’s packages don’t make it and they use the excuse of they were not compliant BS. I know mine were and they returned them all. They have no clue what they doing! And their Canada ICS drivers should be fired. If you can’t pick a package up than WHY are you a driver?! That’s YOUR JOB ! What idiots.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I would—this company is an absolute nightmare! Over a month ago, we shipped a fragile package, clearly marked with fragile stickers, only for it to be damaged. The tracking told us to contact them, and what followed was a maddening runaround. They claimed it was "out for delivery" for weeks, then said it was being "returned," before admitting they lost it! They demanded an invoice with our name and the recipient’s, which the retailer doesn’t provide. When we sent the receipt, they dismissed it as "worn out." When I requested for at least a shipping refund, they smugly pointed to their "terms and service," stating shipping is at "your own risk" and non-refunded. This company’s incompetence and heartless policies are outrageous. I had to refund the customer out of my own pocket because I felt so awful for them. Avoid this deplorable company at all costs!

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. I sent 2 parcels from my home in Australia to myself in Greece. One arrived on time, but broken.
The second one, containing my wedding dress for my wedding in Greece, spent 19 days in Germany. When I enquired about this, Sendle declined to look into it, and insisted they must wait for the expected delivery date to pass before they'd bother looking into it. Hence, my parcel eventually arrived in Greece only by divine intervention and by no effort of Sendle, but then it was stuck in customs, saying it could take 10 days to get released (not including delivery time!), when my wedding is in 5.
Sendle continued denying responsibility, declining my pleas of help.
Eventually, my fiance and I had to leave the town of our wedding, and make 2 hour trip to Athens to personally beg customs to release it and bring it home, costing us several hundred AUD more.
Sendle then refuses compensation, citing they do not guarantee delivery of any parcel, despite them being more than happy to charge $300AUD to "deliver" my parcel, and to take ABSOLUTELY NO action to locate my parcel until it was already too late to do anything.

Dropped package 10 miles away for pickup…

Ordered from TEALISH..never experienced a problem before. I'm at Danforth/Pape..right on The Danforth. After 1 attempt at delivery they brought it..to ICS courier Head Office in Scarborough 50 Cowdrey court..weekday hours only 11AM to 4PM. Nobody can pick up a parcel within that tme frame so its a one hour+ bus ride..both ways..Understandably..not willing to Waste my valuable time and $$ to go collect it..contacted Tealish..Looks like they did something about it..it was loaded on the truck @ 8:52 in the morning on June 25th. I stayed up..for NOTHING! They NEVER came to deliver the tea. So I'm going out for breakfast today the 26th on the Danforth then will visit Lemon Lily Organic TeaShop at Queen and Carlaw opens @ 9 AM. They also have AWESOME looseleaf tea for a lot less $$. If Sendle drops the 1 package order here fine. Basically, because of this and other recent bad delivery experiences ....NO MORE ONLINE PURCHASING. I'm done!

I have had 19 packages returned

I have had 19 packages returned back to me due to border cross issues.

Every package I sent to the US got returned to me or lost.

I currently have a package that is missing. I have filed for it and talked to customer service about it but have gotten no response.

They pick up packages, but we get no information on them for days or weeks.

Haven't received my package

Haven't received my package. Has been automatically updating for 6 days now saying its on the truck out for delivery but posting time is 2.5 hours ahead of me. As I'm ahead of everyone in North America, they must be operating somewhere out in Africa. Clearly, I'm not going to get my package and have received no comments or instructions from the shipping company. They do not have any customer service call center. I highly recommend not using this company. If you had to pay for everyone's time involved in resolving issue's and loss of product, you'll quickly discover how costly it becomes. Given all the reviews that I've read, I'm also concerned about the possibility that personal information might be being collected for other purposes.

Every package I sent to the US got…

Every package I sent to the US got returned to me or lost. Almost 75% of the packages sent are late. You launch a "late parcel inquiry", but it takes 10 business days, and then you still don't hear anything back. I currently have a parcel that has been missing for 6 months, and they won't reimburse me because they can't get ahold of the person I sent it to. Absolutely awful service and customer service. Nothing gets resolved.

got a message that my parcel was delivered this a.m., went out to look and there was nothing! I sent Sendle a message saying my package wasn't delivered! They sent me a pic of my package in front of the door but that wasn't my door/house! then they sent me a pic of my house, from google maps, and it's obvious my house/door is not the same as their pic w/my package in front of another door! they are not believing me even tho I pointed this 'door discrepancy' out. These guys suck!! Don't use!

Similar to many others - DON'T

Similar to many others, I began using Sendle as an alternative to Canada Post in anticipation of a potential strike. Over 70 packages cross border from Canada to the United States are being returned to sender and I have no idea why. Customer service really sucks and they won't answer my questions (despite sitting in support chat for over 3 hours at one point).

Don't use them if you don't want your packages stuck in limbo.

edit: For those interested they finally responded. Turns out they don't print country of origin on their generated shipping labels (I have always filled it out in my details when I generate the labels via Shipstation). Time will tell if they accept responsibility for this.

Sendle Canada to the USA delivery problems

Packages from Canada to the USA are all marked as:
"Reason: Unable to deliver
Support Note: Your package is currently being returned to the sender due to a cross-border compliance issue. Kindly allow 30 business days to complete the process."
Seems fishy. I have used Canada Post to send the same items successfully both before and since.

Bizarre and bad

Super bizarre experience with Sendle. Package is delayed (went out for delivery and never arrived) and they informed me that they don't report delays because "their couriers are usually on time." Weird tracking, and a super weird ability to mark a package as received even if it's not marked as delivered. You can easily mark something as received accidentally and screw yourself. Terrible experience, and a very good reminder why we need Canada Post, because these weird middleman companies just aren't cutting it.

This company is horrible at shipping

This company is horrible at shipping. My package had two false deivery attempts that never left the sorting facility in Surey B.C which is only 22km away from my adress. There was a tag on one of these deivery attempts that the adress was wrong. I contacted their support team to get the response "I don't know why they would have done that? The adress is correct". My only thought is they didn't want to drive 22km on the highway to deliver it. There was also no notifcation that the adress was 'incorect'. Terrible.

Shady, does not honor insurance

Shady, does not honor insurance. Gives you the run around. I waited months for their "investigation" on a lost package. They never followed up even when they said they would. I finally reached out and they then told me they would not be honoring the insurance because the time to file had lapsed while I waited for their response. WHAT A JOKE. DO NOT USE.

Terrrible experience

Terrrible experience! Tried Sendle to avoid Canada Post strike delays and the tracking info is misleading and basically useless - so far half my packages are "return to sender" stating "non-compliance" but no detail what doesn't comply. I have shipped over 300 of this same handmade cake banner to the USA from Canada with Canada Post without ever having a single compliance issue. Customer Service was 100% unhelpful. Will never use this company again!

Was told my package would be shipped…

Was told my package would be shipped with Canada post, but was instead shipped with sendle. Package was scheduled to be delivered Friday afternoon but after the whole day passed I was told they were unable to deliver as they needed “more information” from me. They had my phone number and did not even attempt to contact me when they arrived at my building, if they weren’t able to access (unlikely). After I “updated” my information I Was told package would be delivered within the next 2 business days. Now I have received an email telling me I have 5 days to come pick up my package from one of their collection points OVER ONE HOUR AWAY frm where I live …. I don’t know how I will
Do that as I have work and they close at 4pm everyday
